Excellent videos , thank you so much for this. Q: Can anyone advise me on which Heat press is a good buy , ideally industrial type either clamshell type or swivel type, would really appreciate any feedback ?
Thank you! I have the clamshell and I really like it, I havent had the opportunity to use an easy press yet, but the swivel one I have heard many say its difficult to place objects on, and you also need a lot more open space for that one, as it needs somewhere to move, but each prefer different machines, so a lot of it comes down to personal preference, which you might not know until you have one of them unfortunately.
Hi Ingrid! I would start with the acetate setting, and change your cut settings from there - it very much depends on what material you are trying to cut. the thinner plastic will require less force and passes, thicker acetate will require more pressure and passes
Love the fact that you're providing affordable solutions- yet the outcome is QUALITY!
Aww thank you!! Quality is always the goal 👌👌

Do you know if any of these stencils can be used with speedball screen printing frames?
It is best to use vinyl or htv with screen printing. These materials will move and cause problems because of the thickness of the material
Can you do this on the joy and if what are materials needed. Thanks Meryl
You can do this on a joy, you can use whichever of the materials I mentioned in this video :)
What settings on the Joy would you use to cut 7mil mylar?
Where dis you buy the pvc sheets? PNA tygervalley dont have
They are file dividers, you can get them at most stationary shops :)
Can I also use all the plastic material on the explore air 2 and with what blade and settings?

@@KellyRossouw thank you🌸
Hi Kelly, I have an explore air 2 and I want to make wall stencils for textured wall designs. Woul I be able to make it with my cricut
Which blade did you use to cut the stencil?
My regular fine point blade! :)
Whats cricut machine its better to use a mylar for stencils?
Any of the Maker or Explore machines will cut this very well!
What about laminating sheets, Kel?
Good suggestion! I would imagine thwy would work once laminated though
Stupid question - How did you get your cricut to be in CM instead of Inches?
Not a stupid question at all!
Within the canvas settings you can change it from imperial to metric!
@@KellyRossouw thank you so much!!! Game changer!
Whenever I ask Maizey's for Mylar they say they don't stock it? So confusing. But thanks for the video.
Try Perfect Laser! I dont think Maizeys stock it anymore x
@@KellyRossouw Thank you. I will have a look.
@@KellyRossouw Seems they only have the milky white color, was hoping for the more clear one
