My original 99 1100 with Zx11 cams airbox mods and a full Hindle exhaust and many hours of jetting put out 132 HP to the rear wheel! My favorite bike of all time 👍👍
@@TRocksGarage777 you got that right, I sold mine for a lot less than they are now and it was only 2 years old with about 4k miles...I mis it such a nice bike to ride...
I also had a 1100 from 99 and it was an awesome bike. I sold it to a good friend and he did a dyno run on it, got good numbers. The video is on my youtube channel.
Such a great looking bike.. I have a low mile ZX12R, curious how similar the engines are? I have a full Ti Akrapovic fitted PCIV and a ‘dyno’ graph showing 178bhp
@@TRocksGarage777 It revs!! and you HAVE to rev the nuts off it, but thats part of the fun, it was restricted when i bought it (as most JDM bikes of that era and size are) there was a speed restrictor under the speedo, which (again like all JDM bikes of this era) only went up to 180 Kph (110 mph) but ER-5 speeds look almost the same fit straight in and go up to 220Kph (140Mph) the other restriction is in the CDI, but i bought a de-restrictor box from the UK. Nothing much happens below 8000rpm, which is most un-ZRX😆 but over that it picks up and by 10,000 its screaming toward the 14,000 redline. Next on the list is stiffer springs and shocks, its sprung for light Japanese people, not 17st Kiwis 🤣.
I agree your torque number is insane and would never be higher than the HP number, but what mods do you have on your bike? I have a 2001 with a 4° Advanced timing, Factory Pro jet kit, filter pods, stainless headers, and the Yoshi pipe.
Yes, the torque numbers were off by quite a bit. The operator of the dyno must of got a bad pick-up on his wire. My mods are listed in the description for the video above. Basically my mods are the same ones you got just different brands for parts.

Still have it? W ZX11 cams minty old ZRX11 put out 127
Awesome bike, I had both 1100 and the 1200....1100 got wrecked so I got the 1200 in green, really really wish I never sold it.....such cool bikes....💯
Awesome! Get one if you still can, they are going up in value.

Go for it!

I saw that video too! super happy with this machine!
@@GriffioenE has it been reliable?
@@RajerThatYT Yes, I've got 33k on it now and haven't had any problems.

Nice ride!
0:35 I just discovered the same thing last week. Putting headers on mine and volia' missing frame bolts.
😮

Your ZX12R engine is totally different than the ZRX1200R egine. Those are some good numbers and sounds like a strong running engine.
I have the baby version of one of these, looks exactly the same ( in lime green) but only 400cc, its a real hoot.
I would love to ride the 400cc version.

Nice
Don't ever question the torque of a ZRX
I agree. Makes lots of torque way down low to get the party started.
Ihavea2004 zrx1200 love that bike, mines red also.
Some say "Red" is the fastest color.
👍👍👍
The title says the results were great, but i dont see the numbers anywhere. What did it pull?
Oops, just saw it. 125hp?
@@corndog6700 127.83hp was it's best pull in this video.
I own a 04 1200 silver
big torque at 147 ft lbs? or is that Nm? that torque number seems unreal!! Is that a correct number?
The torque readout on their dyno was not work properly.
You might get 70 ftlbs at rear stock
beautiful but the muffler is too long
I disagree ,it’s a retro bike ,exhaust being long is period for this style of bike imo 👍🏻
Nah, stumpy fart cans are for modern machines, this exhaust suits this bike.
I've always wondered why ZRX' always have such long cans?

What where the Numbers ? Torque and HP ?
127 on HP, torque was not working on their dyno.
see 4:28 127hp
Ahh, a DynoJet dyno, so the real HP at the rear wheel is probably around 115. All DJ Dynos are.....generous with their HP figures. 😃
The torque figures are way off.
