    I'm actually not muslim but an atheist, but I love wearing hijab precisely because I find it helps me feel more comfortable with myself. I'd like to start wearing niqab and videos like yours are helping me.

      @@high.vibrational.collective I know, it's very strange how many religious rules I adhere to, but for nonreligious reasons. I spin yarn, and I hate the idea of mixing fiber types (wool, alpaca, cotton, flax, etc) but it's not because of that obscure rule in the bible that says it's a sin to wear clothing of different materials or whatever. I dress rather modestly, always wearing full leg coverage and feeling extremely exposed if my shoulders are uncovered. These things all just happen to be my preferences.

    Salam sister, this was such a beautiful video mashallah. I am thinking about wearing the niqab but I would be the only one wearing it in my whole family + extended. I haven’t even told anyone yet. You mentioned during you video that you are the only one wearing niqab in your family and I was wondering if you had any hardship when dealing with you family? For me I’m not sure if my mother would let me wear it and ik I will receive many questions. I really don’t like being centre and im not sure if my family would agree with my decision. And I know even if they don’t agree I will still wear it but I just want to prepare for anything to come.

    Are you a revert or from a Muslim family? How did you learn Arabic? I’m so jealous of people who can read the Quran. I’ve been Muslim for 7 years and still can’t read the Quran. Just know the alphabet and can read simple things but the Quran is difficult for me

    • @Niqabisista
      @Niqabisista  4 года назад +1

      I was born into a Muslim family and I learned how to read Arabic from a very young age. It was very important to my mom. But, unfortunately my understanding of the quran is extremely limited. I wish that my quran teacher should have also emphasize the importance of understanding the quran instead of teaching us only how to read it.
      Its a journey to read and understand the quran but you got this baseema. Take it step by step and before you know it you'll reach your goal.
