When you are divorced, you become an enemy, but this drama is a very different and unusual relationship.
There is a dialogue where Salmaan says they could see love vanishing away from their eyes. The couple is so sensible to realise that. Such people get divorced when they cannot be happy together. That shows they are no more possesive about eachother. They realise the truth of their separation. But the best part is they respect eachother. What shows in Fiya's eyes is her loneliness.

Any one here old enough to remember a ptv drama serial where Samina Peerzada played a similar role. Story was more complicated but baseline was the same. Husband falls for a younger woman and Samina as first wife...
It is quite possible and also believable that a couple having good terms with each other even after separation. But, it is absolutely weird if one of them ask the other for opinion about his or her future partner. No sane person would do that.

The entire concept is utopian...the young woman agreeing to meet the estranged wife of her would be husband and allowing herself to be judged doesn't make sense. If they love each other, they should get married. Someone else's opinion shouldn't matter. It is as simple as that.

You showed a very deep moral in this video, which is very positive and thank you for not showing that the first wife re-married someone else. It is better Pehli wali is not re-married. Remarrying is not a solution. Having internal peace and making time for oneself is what actually matters. Life is not a competition or a stage to show off happiness or that you are living happy, to your spouses/siblings/neighbors. Because at the end of the day, you have to deal with the whole situation alone and create balance among your new spouse and children. What I didn't like in this, was you, body shamed a little between the two ladies. Could have created a better version of it, as weight gaining is not in anyone's control. As you have mentioned in your dialogues where Pehli wali says to his ex husband on the phone "I don't have time for meditation/yoga, because I have to run the house and look after the kids". All I am saying, that unmarried people, do also gain or lose weight, when the are mentally disturbed. Only few people can understand it, but not everyone gets the idea that it is not about what you look from the outside, it is how your soul seems to be !!! Again thank you for a lovely message through this video. :))))

So people's point of view can understand that body has nothing to do with not being ABLE to understand their spouse. As there are a lot of thin people in the world as well, who get pregnant and remain slim because of their structure, like the dusri wali, I hope you get my point of view! ^^
