This one was harder to make because I couldn't find the individually-extracted audio tracks and had to filter the vocals myself, and then build the rest of the audio upward. @@respectthejibooty9542 The incident that made her father fear the sea happened in his youth. She was born afterwards, but I don't think it was too long after, since his appearance didn't change very much. Then again, it is animation.
I love how her grandmother telling Moana that it was *okay* if she gave up and went home, that she had still come so far, was what Moana needed to keep going.
That's something I don't think people realize sometimes. Maybe it's just me, but if someone I cared about were to ask something of me I would do everything I could to make that happen. If I ran out of strength, or knowledge, or energy, or faith, I would feel as though I had failed. I would break, and couldn't continue, feeling as though I had disappointed the person. But if they would just let me know that they are still proud of what I accomplished, that they realized I had done all I could, I may be able to pick myself back up again and finish. Or, at least, I could try again next time.
Also, the echos are beyond amazing.
Yeah, that is definitely a message that hasn't been ssid enough ;-; "it's not your fault, I shouldn't have out so much on your shoulders" allowing her to go back home if she wants to, and "Moana you've come so far" had me in tears

I struggle with intense thoughts of dissapointing someone and now being enough and magnifying my flaws. And these thoughta really discourages me from making friends and trying to pursue a love life.
I really wished some I looked up to told me that I wasnt a dissapointment and that I am enough.
I wished someone told me that my 'flaws' were ok and that sometimes you can take a step back and talk about it.
I hope the next generation gets it better.

This song always makes me cry because of the grandma. Moana's grandma is so much like my own: she believes I can make my dreams come true, she teaches me, she's always supportive and loving. And when Moana's grandma died in the movie, I couldn't stop sobbing because I wondered what would be of me if my grandma died. I know that's the circle of life and all, still, I don't want that day to come.

My favorite thing is that her grandma doesn't give a really speech, or push her to go onward. She tells Moana that it's okay to go home, it's okay to be weak, and she'll be encouraging no matter her choices. 💝

I truly believe this is one of the most beautiful and empowering moments from any Disney movie. The visuals are stunning! And Auliʻi Cravalho has such a beautiful voice.

This just helps remind me of when me and my family were in the theatre and my dad, a big tough looking black man, was SOBBING because he was seeing his culture in the mainstream.

It means that when you listen with headphones you can hear echos and her voice escalating more, it's so beautiful
it's better if you watch it on your computer. My phone's volume doesn't go up as high, but when you crank up the volume on the computer, you will definitely HEAR the difference!

My favorite part (or one of) is when the grandma sings "the people you love will change you, the things you have learned will guide you" because not everyone you live will be good for you or lead you the right way, like a lot of people say. But people will always change you, and what you learn will always guide you. And I think it was awesome that they made that a lesson.

I saw this movie in the theater and I got chills multiple different times throughout this movie... the music is amazing and the movie itself is just so entertaining. Definitely one of my favorite movies and Moana is one of my favorite “princesses.”
