I doubt the chequered flag would be shown like this nowadays. Insane stuff.

I noticed that too! Depailler was the only one who even with a camera on would go fast enough to have continuously to correct oversteer all through turns. Magnificent!!!!!

Those French drivers at the beginning of the video........... Back row L to R Jean-Pierre Jarier....Patrick Tambay...Didier Pironi....Patrick Depailler.............Front Row L to R Jacques Lafitte...Jean-Pierre Jabouille...Rene Arnoux.......................Jean - Pierre Jarier did the stunt driving in the film RONIN. Pironi suffered terrible leg injuries in a crash in 1982 which ended his F1 career, he crashed and died racing a speedboat in 1986.............Depailler died in an F1 testing crash in Germany in 1980...................Lafitte and Jabouille both had their F1 careers ended by broken legs in big crashes but like Arnoux are still around today, ( January 2020).
