I have been watching a lot, i mean A LOT, of car/truck/van camping videos lately, and this is the only one to make me feel immediately relaxed and grateful. No showy nonsense, no begging for likes and subscribes, just peace, living in the moment, and camping. So good.

"they're just so much better than us in every way" ...........as a japanese person myself, I can assure you, Japan's not the heavenly space westerners think it is. & japanese people/culture are as complex as any other culture. there is no one size fits all. to say that all japanese people are just smarter/more enlightened/harder working than everyone else also puts insanely high expectations on japanese people (especially those living in the West, as the "model minority" myth ruins lives). i know this came from a place of love, but it's racist rhetoric nonetheless. our culture really isn't that different from anyone else's & it certainly isn't superior.

Stumbled across this channel in my nightly RUclips watch where I spend about 5 min on a video and move on, however I couldn’t help but watch the whole thing. As a Australian that has been to Japan a few times for the snow I fell in love with the country and atmosphere this really hits home with me. This looks so much more realistic than those ultra luxury vans. This feels like what a middle class person's van life would look like. .this made me reflect a lot on my life Edit: you all are definitely jobless to twist my words in the comments. All i mean is this looks more realistic, in the sense, more affordable for a person who wants to lead a van life because they wanna save money. Those ultra luxury vans in now way are cheap or affordable. And only a few people have the skills to turn those angelic vans into reality while staying in a low budget.
My dream is to one day be able to get a van and do just this. To live very simple and move around to find a safe, quiet and peaceful place to park. Instead of being stuck where I am currently. Thank you for your videos, they give so many people much hope and inspiration.

No quiero matar tus ilusiones ni nada por el estilo pero pasársela en una camiones por muy acomodada qué este no es tan bonito como parece, me encantan este tipo de videos pero ese estilo de vida trae muchos problemas qué casi nunca se contemplan, quizás pienses que te ahorrarás los de los hoteles y podrás ir a donde quieras pero nada más alejado de la realidad, el dinero ahorrado en hoteles te lo gastarás en gasolina comida y cualquier cosa que haga falta en el camino aparte de necesitar herramientas y tener conocimientos aunque sea básicos de mecánico, el agua siempre te va a faltar y tendrás que racionar demasiado, aveces sin bañarte por días hasta que asegures una fuente de agua segura, con la ropa es lo mismo a menos que encuentres alguna tintorería barata pero pues el objetivo de viajar así es ahorrar entonces.... , la inseguridad siempre es un problemas dependiendo de donde vallas, te la vas pasar encorvado y terminaras con dolores de espalda serios si no estiras tu cuerpo con frecuencia, Y mientras más tiempo pases en una camioneta de estas más vas a querer volver a un hogar fijo y estable, más que nada por las comodidades
man al parecer te quieres torturarte solo pero tranquilo eso se ha vuelto comun en estos años pero dejame decirte que tener ese estilo de vida es muy dura y debes tener una alta responsabilidad de tus suministros de comida para que sea mas llevadero su sobrevivencia. Hacer este tipo de cosas es mejor hacerlas como para viajes planeados y claro, tener suministros suficientes, tener juegos para la familia, etc.
One of my most cherished memories during the times I was able to travel to Japan was going down to Yakushima Island, renting a tiny campervan and travelling between the different onsen and camping out over 3 nights (One was literally by the seaside, so we parked, made instant ramen and watched the view). This video brought back those memories and feelings.

I can't agree more. I travelled with my girlfriend around the continental Japan last yest. Although my memory is getting blured, I remembered that everytime I woke up, I put my "thing" deep inside her. I have to admit that the feel was sooooo good~ Hope after the epidemic, I could travel somewhere else with her.

It's enlightening to see an alternative living situation that doesn't over do it on the extras. A lot of tiny house videos really sell it like " it's your house but smaller" when the purpose is to live more minimalist. Great video 👍

One aspect I always loved about Japan and the people there is their willingness to stay clean and organized. Before and after a meal it’s clean and he does his dishes after eating. It’s culture thing but it would be nice to see more of that here in the states.
Here in American I wash the dishing after we’re done before I cook when I’m cooking I wash the fishing I was the food to and everything I even take a shower was myself a couple times

No quiero matar tus ilusiones ni nada por el estilo pero pasársela en una camiones por muy acomodada qué este no es tan bonito como parece, me encantan este tipo de videos pero ese estilo de vida trae muchos problemas qué casi nunca se contemplan, quizás pienses que te ahorrarás los de los hoteles y podrás ir a donde quieras pero nada más alejado de la realidad, el dinero ahorrado en hoteles te lo gastarás en gasolina comida y cualquier cosa que haga falta en el camino aparte de necesitar herramientas y tener conocimientos aunque sea básicos de mecánico, el agua siempre te va a faltar y tendrás que racionar demasiado, aveces sin bañarte por días hasta que asegures una fuente de agua segura, con la ropa es lo mismo a menos que encuentres alguna tintorería barata pero pues el objetivo de viajar así es ahorrar entonces.... , la inseguridad siempre es un problemas dependiendo de donde vallas, te la vas pasar encorvado y terminaras con dolores de espalda serios si no estiras tu cuerpo con frecuencia,
Y mientras más tiempo pases en una camioneta de estas más vas a querer volver a un hogar fijo y estable, más que nada por las comodidades

man al parecer te quieres torturarte solo pero tranquilo eso se ha vuelto comun en estos años pero dejame decirte que tener ese estilo de vida es muy dura y debes tener una alta responsabilidad de tus suministros de comida para que sea mas llevadero su sobrevivencia. Hacer este tipo de cosas es mejor hacerlas como para viajes planeados y claro, tener suministros suficientes, tener juegos para la familia, etc.
One of my most cherished memories during the times I was able to travel to Japan was going down to Yakushima Island, renting a tiny campervan and travelling between the different onsen and camping out over 3 nights (One was literally by the seaside, so we parked, made instant ramen and watched the view). This video brought back those memories and feelings.

I can't agree more. I travelled with my girlfriend around the continental Japan last yest. Although my memory is getting blured, I remembered that everytime I woke up, I put my "thing" deep inside her. I have to admit that the feel was sooooo good~ Hope after the epidemic, I could travel somewhere else with her.

It's enlightening to see an alternative living situation that doesn't over do it on the extras. A lot of tiny house videos really sell it like " it's your house but smaller" when the purpose is to live more minimalist. Great video 👍

This blows my mind. Over 7.5 million views of a video that is simple and down to earth. I especially love the music. At times I begin to cry a little and I have no idea why.
One aspect I always loved about Japan and the people there is their willingness to stay clean and organized. Before and after a meal it’s clean and he does his dishes after eating. It’s culture thing but it would be nice to see more of that here in the states.
Honestly, if it was just my own dishes, I'd always do them immediately.

This made me relaxed in such a way i was imagining myself in the situation and trying to experience it and enjoy it every second, sometimes away from it all and isolating yourself to recharged is such a wonderful feeling, i had a lot of stress and needed relaxation and this got recommended me by youtube was a great timing.
