I’m not taking away from your compliment to him, but he was actually inaccurate. The point is not to keep it moving but to keep it still. Ice needs a nucleation point to form, which is what he is talking about with the ice crystal. The chain reaction is what forms it into ice. You can see videos on RUclips lol I used to do it hella in middle school.
The only reason vik’s water experiment didn’t work is because in the video when he put the water on top of the cardboard there was a thin piece of paper off the cardboard that stuck onto the glass which allows it to hold the surface tension of the water, you can also do this by place a tissue on a overfilled bottle which allows the tissue to hold the water.

6:30. Essentially ice cannot form out of still water. It needs minerals, air, or other pieces of ice to attach to and form. Also, ice will form very quickly. Once it starts, it will finish freezing over very quickly. The water is below freezing but was left still enough to not freeze. Once you agitate it by shaking it or pouring it out fast enough it'll activate and begin to freeze

Watching sidemen reacts when you're stoned is how you should deal with your Sunday afternoon
viks pain when he knows hes getting covered in water is class
6:25 you were almost spot on, its just the opposite, if you keep the water completely still in a temperature that very slowly gets colder and colder then it wont freeze, and then with the smallest amount of force like dropping a tiny ice shard will instantly freeze it. its actually cool how nature and technology can do that
Vikk being typical Indian guy , not getting marks due to competition but knows everything.

10:40 the only reason the ink disappears off the page is because the ink is a special type of ink where it disappears with heat that pen has a eraser on the top where the heat generated by the friction of the eraser removes the ink
7:25 to elaborate further, after dumping the water from the bottle the air from the outside travels through the straw and enters the gap between the water and the bottom of the bottle. This created pressure in the bottle causing the water to be pushed out by the air continuously entering the bottle.

the reason viks water glass didnt stick is because he used a hard non malleable surface where as cardbored is much more malleable so it is easier for it to create that surface tension as it moulds around the glass slightly
1:42 you could say harry had the blues😂😂

9:08- Mission failed, we get them next time. 😂😂😂😂
This was one of my favorites. The banter was top notch
So crazy how the Sidemen have grown. Keep up the good work
True
harry getting more excited when he realizes vic is for sure going to poor water on himself lmao
11:20 Circular Currents
I enjoy watching the sidemen upload these videos, so interesting TBH

That water test was hilarious 😂😂😂
8:20 the science that is at play is due to a vacuum formed in the top of the glass. If the water is very still, the air has no chance of sliding along the side, so the water can’t leave the cup. There’s a lot of variables at play here
I've done this 1000s of times it's real

There's no vacuum in the top of the glass.
There is no vacuum in glass !
Not vacuum its bcos of the air pressure
If your experiment caught fire and you're recording it its a huge success
I love how people in the comments have scientific explanations to these experiments and I’m here just like: “What a great video guys!👍”
we need to see a sidemen science experiments for a sidemen sunday
Todays sidemen videos, the IQ and this one, is literally all about proving how smart Vik is.

3:16 even if you didn't have it around you can make it from simple household stuff
13:19 - the static electricity on the comb is causing the water molecules (that are inherently polar because the Oxygen atom is more negative then the two Hydrogen atoms) to bend toward the very minor electrical field present on the comb.
8:00 Water adhesion, surface tension, and negative pressure created by the air above it. The upside down shaking is bullshit though.

You should definitely do a science experiments video for a sidemen sunday
8:35 I've tried this hundreds of times before and it works its real
9:20 use filter fabric or wire mesh so the tension of the water holds it together
Hats off to vik! Man was pretty much accurate on all of them with just the visuals!!

3:16 You can get the sodium acetate by mixing baking soda and vinegar. It's the solid left over. The other products are CO2 and water.

11:00 a flamethrower 😭😭
9:35 for this I'm pretty sure it has to be cardboard, because when it gets wet it like peeled of to cover the whole top of the glass or someshit.
The coaster was a decent option since its fairly water repellent. The only reason it didn't work was because he slowly slid it out from under the glass instead of taking it off fairly quickly. That made the surface of the water unstable the entire time he was moving the coaster.

I'm assuming this is erasable ink, which is erasable by heating up the ink. Same reason why erasable ink comes with its own special eraser, which can generate enough heat to melt the ink without it smudging everywhere. Though using a lighter on paper doesnt seem very smart.
vikk knows his science

Around 10:33 u can see the lid in his hand try 0.25 speed
Ps : Simon was right abt the lid and I am a magician and u can only do that w a lid thats used like a trick in most of the time
The water holding in the cup thing is real, normally it's shown with a credit card which certainly sounds easier because it won't soak through, creating the tension in the first place, but you definitely shouldn't be able to shake it like that.

Fr ksi would make it weird
9:10 it works but its hard cz u need to leave no air between the flat surface and the water so when u pull it off the water doesnt spill as its blocked by air :)
