Certain guys in h.s you cant tell they're pros. I remember tackling Jonathan Cooper whose on the Broncos from behind and realizing he's carrying me an extra 3 yards
I would agree which is probably the reason he is among the league leader when it comes to the starters, and ball dominant guards in the league. For reference Luka had 19, Bobby Portis, Ant Man Dillon Brooks had 17, Jayson, Tatum, Trae, Young I believe had like 13. De’Aaron, Fox, Draymond Green, and Westbrook had.10. LBJ had 6 So o say he proclaimed to be accountable and not felt his team down even through the clock as he only has had 4 with all the clutch Dame time moments he’s had
A ref at my city league got butthurt in the championship and started calling a walk everytime someone on my team shot the ball. We ended up losing and that ref got hospitalized by someones parents the same night.
No he inforced the rules. Y’all want to let everything slide. It’s called consequences. He wasn’t a kid, he was capable of controlling his emotions, but he didn’t. He learned to finish and have a sense of dignity…Dame learned the lesson I dont see why y’all hurt when he’s not.
Me and my team was up 21 in the championship in High School, the clock hit 0:00 we won and I was hyped so I took my jersey off... celebratin'.... the ref turned and teed me up and they came up and we lost the game. No lies true story
Right it's never his fault for being goofy. Even his coach knew he was going to get a tech. As if the ref gives a f who wins. This victim mentality has to stop. Kids need men in the house to end this victim hood bs.
By reading the comments, a lot yall never played organize ball. Because the ones who have played, all know that’s automatic technique foul. Dame is sharing his painful experience, to hopefully reach just one young player to be smarter. 💯💯💯💯💯
My coach always told us when you do something great be humble and act like you’ve been there before. Because the last thing you want is to do something to cause the team to lose the game, then you end up, looking like a fool.
Ref didn’t notice Dame without his jersey on and was going home and heard Dame’s Coach yell out “ Dame, put your jersey back on!” Ref turns around and calls tech. Not your fault Dame, you didn’t know 😂
I hit a game winner & AFTER the final horn, one of my teammates jumped & grabbed the rim. The ref Teed him up, AFTER THE GAME WAS OVER & we lost by one. Our stupid ass coach let it happen instead of just telling us to leave the court because the game was over. We kept telling him to tell the ref the game was over. He didn't.
I did a lot of coaching. I told my kids to act like they’ve won before. It’s expected of you. Don’t celebrate like you’ve never won before. Let the other team know that you clearly expect to win every game!
Seem like a lot of people hate accountability. He wasn’t a kid incapable of controlling his emotions. He was a young man and that’s part of learning. Sometimes the lessons are painful.
He didn’t do nothing wrong so why the accountability speech you can celebrate victories accomplishments in the real world with no consequences it’s hate and to keep blk in line they fight knock teeth out in hockey baseball leave bleachers on mostly blk dominated sports have silly celebratory rules etc… which makes no sense and is trying to control human emotions etc.. you are part of problem just natural born hater and don’t even notice it !!!😂 accountability for cheering celebrating being better team and the hard work you out in your perform I bet you yt or wanna be !!
That's horrible and leaves a bad taste for a while. I was taunting a chick in the stands after we took and made a last second shot. The other team, our rivals, had 4 seconds left. They inbound the ball all the way to half court, and the guy I was supposed to be guarding hit a 35-footer to take it to OT, where we lost damn
Any sport, if the games over, meaning no time on the clock, a team won and a team lost so the game is OVA!! Then u can do whatever the heck u want, refs no longer have authority over u because theres no game they are controlling because its OVER! Thats like saying a coach or player gets in an argument in the tunnel or near the locker rooms, with a ref. So then the ref can T u up and keep the game going? STOP IT!!! Thats not a thing and would never hold up!
I can guarantee you if you look in a refereeing handbook, there is no where in there where you can give a tech AFTER THE GAME! 🤣Imagine being on the bus celebrating, next thing you hear is a whistle and there's a ref saying "Excessive celebration! Everyone off the bus so the other team can shoot two shots" 😒
This mf Dame seen dudes missin dunks at lunch time.. came over wit his hat and backpack on and hit a reverse dunk off vert and it was a dude name Aaron McCray who was way more athletic and quick it was crazy..
Seems like if the game is over there are no plays to call a tech on. A Tech is literally a Technical foul. Thats the true definition of a TECHNICALITY. How are you going to add points to a game that isnt officially happening? Seems like something you could appeal & win. Although I know from experience that amateur sports has some weird rules like that. Wild stuff.
