Here is the deal.. During the fabrication of the initial frame the I beams and other structural steel , tubes etc. are checked and straightened during fabrication prior to welding, then straightened again after welding. This is extruded material, every piece is different. They use a huge straightening press with a movable ram and tweak each beam The weld shrinkage alone on a frame like this will cause distortion, even if welded on a jig. It can be reduced but not eliminated, so they have to straighten after welding. They most likely put just as much stress or more on the frame than he is. Stop by your local PDM steel center and check out the materials straightness on I beams this size. ;)

This all looks real nice But it's been my experience that they don't actually like staying straight once twisted Or bent unless they are reinforced or relieved in some manner is that correct ?

I have my doubts. because the metal got tiered and i have seen extra profiles. so the frame is straight but still weak.
