One State Solution - Episode 7 - The Holiday of Liberation

In this episode, Elik and Alon recall their experiences from the Seder: a feast and ritual that takes place on the eve of Passover, where Jews retell the biblical story of liberation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt.
We discuss the stark contrast between the myth of Passover, known as the Holiday of Liberation, and the current reality of oppression, slavery and violence.
Through the insight that all oppressors are also slaves to the oppressive ideologies and institutions that they serve, we arrive at a place of understanding and compassion, and delve into the paradox that is recognizing that our family and friends, while all fundamentally good people, still support and commit atrocities.
