Does a higher trainer level increase the chances of encountering rare Pokémon? I'm at level 32 and rarely encounter stronger ones.
(lv 28) Same here + it's almost impossible for me to evolve Magikarp. Too much candy is required, not enough magicarps in my area. I have one magicarp per few days XD
@@QnkuPvP Well, beginnings can be tough. Currently, I'm gathering more and more strong Pokémon so that I can finally handle a 3-star raid on my own
@@QnkuPvP By the way, once I encountered a Gyarados with 1900 CP, but after catching it, it had really bad IVs 😂 In general, strong Pokémon rarely appear in these discoveries in my city.

Trainer's level does not affect rare Pokemon spawn. Rare Pokemon may show up at different terrain (city, river, etc) or weather boost. Example: Jangoo are super rare and you may get it when it is windy weather if you are lucky. That's why I drive to either Benicia or Napa for more water Pokemon spawn, no guaranteed rare ones. Otherwise, you may have to waste money and grind it by egg hatch. I caught regional Pokemon in Florida from Egg Hatch in year 2020. Now, they remove Regional Pokemon from eggs . :(
