Update....as of 11/6/2017 I have met with Mrs. Ayers and presented her with the funds raised by my generous viewers through the GoFundMe account that, again, you, the viewers, suggested. It was an emotional meeting, to say the least. I am grateful to all of you. May God bless and protect you.
I am so glad to hear that the funds were raised through GoFundMe. This was an excellent story and a testament to the viewers who help this kind lady. Hats off to all. Blessings to all people involved in this video.
I am amazed at the number of viewers who are willing to help this lady. Most of you are suggesting a GoFundMe account. I don't know much about it, but I will research it and see if I can get one set up. Thanks to all of you!!!! You are a Blessing.
Ron Pratt it didn't read this post before what I posted....I for one will contribute this is what America is about. Go to gofundme.com Tell her story and set and amount that needs to be collected I'm sure your followers with Get'er done in no time flat.
Just let me say that I am proud to be associated with Ron Pratt subscribers. The outpouring of compassion for this lady has really moved me. I think she is some way reminds all of us of our mothers. A human being that needs help, through no fault of her own. And Ron, you set the tone, by being the kind of person that you are. Your kindness and courtesy are infectious. I salute you sir, and all the other kind people that donated to help. I can`t wait to see her face.
Ok viewers....I hope I have done this correctly. Here's the link for a GoFundMe account to help Mrs. Ayers. I'm not sure how this will work, but I trust that God will work it out. Again, thank you and God bless. www.gofundme.com/mrs-ayers-car-fund I have increased the goal to $3500 simply because of the fees that GoFundMe take from the proceeds. Again, thank you all.
Ron, if I may make a suggestion, couldn't hurt to add the gofundme link to video description as well. Thanks for helping sir and good luck on your goal! ;)
Even though I am not in the passion to help her I did share this video because I do have friends that are. I hope she gets more help then she is excepting
I've been watching your videos for some time now in the UK where I am a film and television producer. Like all the people who comment on your videos, I'm greatly impressed by your knowledge, professionalism and the polite way in which you conduct your business. But this video is something else. It's a great social document, it's a tremendous record of how we live our lives today and the struggles we have. I congratulate you for producing it and hope that it goes on to receive an even wider audience than the increasingly large numbers of followers who view your website. Well done, sir!
Just came across this and the other video and I completely understand her sleep issue I worked mostly 3rd shift all my life also am happy to hear that the viewer's were generous and helped this wonderful lady
This is such a nice old lady. She reminds me of my grand mother. I feel her struggle and I know what it's like to need money for car repairs and nothing else to fall back on.
My heart goes out to this lady! I've been there, done that! Fortunately, although the expenditure for repairs hurt, I was still working then, and was able to repair my car. I can only imagine how distressed she had to feel. God Bless!
I am a 69 yr old retired trucker living on SS.Do not have much money but i wish there was some way to help this lady. Maybe some of your watchers could pitch in and help this wonderful person. There or not a lot of nice people like her now days.
James I too am on SS. I know what it's like to be poor, dirt poor. I grew up that way. I make a little over $12,000. a year in SS. But that's just fine for me. I can stretch a dollar further than most people. I think there are other ways to help this lady too. Prayers is one way. Also, if anyone is close to her, take her to her appointments without charging her. Just do it!! We need some teens to go over and rake her yard for her. There are things that can be done that don't always require money.
As much as I love watching advanced recoveries, I deal with so many fake people in my life. It's not possible to sit down and have any kind of a real human interaction with them because everything is fake. That is why I do like these types of videos. Normal interactions with real people. For me it's such a rare sight.
The GoFundMe goal has been met in less than 24 hours, and has actually surpassed it by $70 at the time I am typing this. Well done everybody, Mrs. Ayers deserves this. And thank you Ron for giving us the opportunity to help out such a wonderful lady. Your kind heart and your passion for your faith is definitely something more of us should be striving for in our daily lives. Thanks again Ron.
Ron you are such a kind and helpful persin. I own my own trucking busineds and its good to know about people like you . I know that should i ever need help in your area of the country you will be my first call. I enjoy your videos ,very informitive. Gid bless you and youe family.....
Great videos Ron.... keep up the amazing work that you...Im a volunteer firefighter and i have a great deal of respect for all of my brothers and sisters, whether fire, ems, police or towing and recovery we are all here to help a person in need. Once again thank you for what you do and may God bless and protect you and your family
What a lovely lady - and you were the right man to be able to rescue her. It is a great sadness that in most "modern and affluent" countries, the older people who worked extremely hard and endured many atrocities and who were led to believe that society would be there for them in their later years, have mostly been stabbed in the back.
Yes, very good price. I picked up a 1969 Chevrolet El Camino with a 350 & Automatic tranny (with problem with the tranny) $3200.00. Folks always offering more for that ride. This one I will hang on to for a while. I would have liked to seen under the hood, thinking one of Fords 390's in that old Merc.
Every time I hear stories like what this lady is going through with her medical bills I count my lucky stars I was born in a country that provides a proper healthcare system for its citizens. I wish her all the best and I'm really glad you were able to help her out with the GoFundMe page and her car payments.
What a sweet lady, with a terrible problem. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to post this video. :) I love watching another episode of Ron Pratt: Day in the Life of a Tow Truck Driver. :) God Bless, and may you be successful in getting the money to pay for the repairs on her car. P.S. Love your Mater :D
What a lovely lady. Just the type that I'd love to share a cup of tea with sitting in the park. I love to hear 'how it was in my day...' memories. Far better than reading a sterile history. And I think she has a wee soft spot for you Ron! Anyway, stay safe and God bless you and yours Ron.
Ron, thank you again for putting the hard work in on your channel. I can’t afford too much right now, but I donated what I could. I hope Ms. Ayers is able to get her Taurus fixed.
This was a very good set of videos! So nice to see the personal side of your business. Happy to see there's a way to help her! Almost 5k raised in 3 days! God bless you Ron and everyone whose helping!
Watched the remainder of this video after I watched the 3rd one. I wish I would have watched this in its entirety at first, I would have sent some money. This lady is a hoot! You have to love her, she is so personable. You make everyone at ease in all your videos.
"Nobody leaves my house without a hug..." I loved that!!!! She meant it too. It isn't so hard to spread kindness at all. God bless and pay it forward for someone today if you get the chance.
Ron, Many congratulations on first setting up the collection AND REACHING THE TARGET.Iam sure you will find the right people to carry out the work and the lady will soon be back behind the wheel. OH yes I remember party lines the old dial phone. continued good health to you AND PLEASE continue the great NOW mixed video's.
Great return video on the Taurus Ron. Good luck with Mrs. Ayers, it was really nice of you to set up a GFM for her. Some folks are not able to handle the sometimes healthy repair bills that broken cars sometimes generate. We all been down that road. Bless your heart. Thanks for the information on the Mercury, it looked really clean for $7500.00. :}
I so enjoy your videos, and this one was no different! Just a relaxing, kick back kind of ride along, listening in on your conversation. She is a lovely, sweet woman, and I hope God blesses her in the best way He can. Thank you for sharing. God Speed.
Hi Ron just want to say that I love watching your videos unfortunatelyI have became disabled and I watch all your videos keep up the good job God bless
This is just awesome everyone, I just noticed that $2,600 has been raised for this beautiful and deserving lady. There are still many good people with good hearts left in this world. :-)
I hate these kinds of tows, especially the retired folks that are on a fixed income.I allways want to be able to do more but I at least cut them as big a break as I can. Also there's been a few times where I've been able to get folks in this type of situation into cars that I've impounded.I actually just got a vet into a minivan that I took in on a DUI with no insurance. The guy was never going to get the car back due to storage fees and I was able to convince him to take a hundred for it to get the title. He too was a Veteran and when I explained to him what I was trying to do and I wasnt just trying to flip it,he took the money.
A sage piece of advice, Ron that was said during you talk when you left the repair shop. It is also nice to have praise because that can come back to you in more business. Years later should have been before when Congress raided the Social Security Trust Fund and put that money into the general revenue, which actually was stealing from all of us who had put their money into. You are only 26 years younger that I am, "kid".
What a great thing you're doing with the GoFundMe page! Already hit the goal and then some! Wish I were closer to you guys - I'd have repaired the car for her for free. Sad how our government has screwed it's hard working citizens. Makes my blood boil! If I wasn't in the middle of putting an addition on my barn (for my auto & small engine repair business), I'd have bought that Mercury! Love that car. Priced fair too - I'd expect someone around here to be asking $10k or better for something of that condition. That's why I love the Midwest & South - the majority are good, honest people!
I agree with Mark Robinson. God has a plan of you Ron and your fulfilling that plan. There will be a special place for you and yours in Heaven, you can bank on that.
I hope for the best for her. We did have good weather here in Alabama but we having a cold front coming through here this weekend that drop the temp down low for a few day's but will recover nicely for Halloween.....
I was a bit slow viewing this video, traveling and such. I intended to volunteer to setup a GoFundMe account but of course when I saw your first comment I realized you had handled everything. Mrs Airs is fortunate she had you move her Taurus to the shop, that was probably the best potential meet-up she will have this year! As always you were a total professional but you were also her 'Hero Riding in on a White Horse/Truck'. Ron I am 21 years your senior (you are indeed a young WhipperSnapper), and I agree for most people SS is not enough to exist/survive. I have always focused on saving money. I continue to work full time and draw SS. Thankfully I never expected SS to support me, I viewed it as a savings plan - pure and simple. And I do not keep all my funds in banks. I prefer to maintain full control over as much of my hard earned money as possible. Living comfortably is my goal. if all goes well retirement will be mine within a few years. (I want to complete some home reno work so my home is as ready for my retirement as I will be. Plus no debt feels awesome! Pay cash = no debt.)
Well done Ron for getting the fundraiser started, awesome idea I 've just sent my bit and as previously said by many you really are a true humanist, hope we see Mrs Ayers back on the road again before long. God bless you sir, stay safe. pat. uk.
As some others state, you would be lucky to find a transmission even from the junk yard from others who also suffer trany issues due to its design and manufacture standard being sub par. Even more lucky if they made replacement parts or whole new replacement or other transmission that would fit the factory standard.
The music at the ending is the same as Classic Truck Rescue uses. Neat! That was a good video. What a sweet woman. Hope she finds a good deal on a replacement car.
Mrs Ayers is going to be so surprised!!! I know some of us would love to see her expression when you hand it to her. Hope you video it. She will know she is cared about n being blessed by GOD, you n your viewers. What an adorably sweet lady. Praying your gesture of Faith has an impact on everyone who sees it. Stay safe n God bless all involved. :)
I had several Ford Tauruses and LOVED THEM. I would probably still have my last one if it hadn't been hit by a large truck (the truck pitted me and took out the entire driver side). I will say the slogan "built Ford Tough" is VERY true! I was entirely unharmed and was able to drive the car off the highway to the shoulder.
The fund is over $1,000 already in 2 hours or so. Looking good that she will get her car repaired. Hopefully you record your next interaction with Mrs. Ayers when she finds out her car is getting fixed. Would love to see her reaction. :)
I am sure you’ll agree with me Ron when I say , I really hope mrs Ayers is back on the road soon . All the best for a very good job Ron . My thoughts are with you, your family and crews . . .
I'm so glad to see the go fund me page raised the money and she can get her car fixed. Ron, please do a follow up video so we can see the happy ending.
You are a great guy man keep up the great attitude this isn’t just a job for you you actually care about everyone you deal with and are very respectful
I’m glad I watched your presentation visit before I saw this video, what a wonderful lady. Here in the UK we don’t realise how well off we are with our assistance from the government for us sick pensioners. Thank you and your family for your Christian faith, trust we we meet one day along with our Lord. God bless you all brother. 👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Mrs. Ayres seems to have a lot of foresight when it comes to managing her finances. Maybe a garage can fix it for her on time. That may help a little. I don't like to see people needing assistance. it's a Bummer for me. Great video nun the less Ron. Thanks Bud, Happy Trails. May God Bless.
only just seen this one..how brilliant for people to chip in to the GoFundme page and pay for her car to be repaired...what a brilliant idea...so well deserving...well done to everyone...
Any video of her reaction...?
Bless your heart Ron, & thanks to you & everyone who follows your post, Mrs. Ayers should be back on the road in no time. :} :}
Ron Pratt
Would like to see her reaction to it.
Ron Pratt is there going to be a RUclips video of it
Thanks Ron. I know she had no idea what was about to happen. I'm just glad we could help!

$7500 is a steal on that Mercury. Looks like it's in pretty good shape!
Yes, very good price. I picked up a 1969 Chevrolet El Camino with a 350 & Automatic tranny (with problem with the tranny) $3200.00. Folks always offering more for that ride.
Hey Ron. I just found this old video that I haven't watched yet. Almost 3 years later. LOL.
I wish i could go on tows like that with you
matthew cottrell western movies the western movies
I don't know about you but i find the rode wining so satisfying at the end
That’s what I like. Everyone waving to each other. I miss that here in California.
The fund is over $1,000 already in 2 hours or so. Looking good that she will get her car repaired. Hopefully you record your next interaction with Mrs. Ayers when she finds out her car is getting fixed. Would love to see her reaction. :)
Just checked, and it's at 3600 already, she's going to be one happy lady. :)

It must be nice to just drive the car up on the ramp. I hope everything works out for the nice lady. God bless

bless you Ron, your such a nice guy
This poor lady :( My heart goes out to her. Where's her family?
Ron's viewers are standing in as her family!
only just seen this one..how brilliant for people to chip in to the GoFundme page and pay for her car to be repaired...what a brilliant idea...so well deserving...well done to everyone...
When I worked at an independent shop the number one car we worked on was the ford Taurus.
