I won’t need to worry about upgrading for another 3-4 years when my 12 arrives, this is video quality I’ve been waiting for, the 11 was good but not good enough for me to use as a dedicated video camera.. the quality of the night shots, the lack of a need for a gimble, it all looks great, I’m glad I upgraded this year

I notice in both this video and the iPhone footage I shoot that iPhone video always has a hint of noise and/or softness in even the best lit scenes, probably due to the small sensor size on phone cameras. The great thing is that probably 99% of people who consume video content won't notice since they're understandably more preoccupied with the story. Great job with the movement, editing, and sound design in this video!
The noise was super evident in the night shots, a larger sensor size is the only shortcoming. The recording software on the iPhone tries to make up for this but there’s only so much that can be fixed
After paying for the phone. Me:now time to film Reality: Now you just need to drop money on some stabalizing equipment,lighting equipment, some software (hopefully all costing under a grand ) watch youtube videos on how to film. talk to over a couple of hundreds of people who may or may not want to be filmed and hopefully my buddy has helicopter to spare. After Im done filming now its time for me to watch hours of youtube videos so I can learn how to edit videos and then when im done realize was it all worth it....

Question: how do you know when to shoot at 4K 60fps vs 4K 24fps? I just read in your description that you used these settings so I was wondering when or for what shots/output each one is for. Thank you ✨
60fps is for slowing down footage to make it smoother or slo mo shots. A lot of footage you see is slowed down because it looks more cinematic. Use 24fps for regular shots that you don’t slow down because 60fps looks weird when you don’t slow it down

You should check out his tutorials. His workflow is way more simple than I expected.

60fps is for slowing down footage to make it smoother or slo mo shots. A lot of footage you see is slowed down because it looks more cinematic.
Use 24fps for regular shots that you don’t slow down because 60fps looks weird when you don’t slow it down
