Thanks brother, great video. As we chatted over earlier, you have indirectly answered the question we both got stuck on, how to get nice motion blur and still have effective image stabilization. Use a gimbal and forget about using digital stabilization! I bought one for my phone a week ago, but it was too bulky and heavy for the stuff I do though, returned it. . . .Hello DJI pocket 2 and an ND filter set. I am so excited! Perfect light fast easy solution and good bye to over sharpened phone video as well. LOL cheers Lots more cool stuff to be done as well. I'll share it with you as I get the footage!
@@gregmarquez1099 I got the neewer 6 piece nds, some with CPLs built in and a tiny rig case to carry it all. My recent Moonshine canyon adventure video really shows how the GoPro stabilization fails bad, jerky and the pocket looked great even when moving quickly through the deep dark part of the slot. I only used the GoPro because it was set up to use for selfie shots. . .
Help. I just picked up the iPhone 12 Pro Max and getting terrible alliasing on all the day shots. Not so bad on 1080 but this 4k is completely un-usable even trying to filter it out in post which takes hours. Any tips? I'm new to this phone but totally hating it so far. My iPhone 6 had better video. I heard a lot of these phones are bad but want to check every angle if I'm doing something wrong before I decide to return it. Great video.
Amazing video! Very informational:) So I've recently bought Iphone 12 PRO max and my question is! Can I get away with Ratio 4k/60FPS and then edit video on editor as 24fps or is it better in general to film with 24fps ratio on phone settings for RUclips? Combining Vlog/Cinematic type of video? Thank you again! & maybe in the future you will have some suggestions how to keep great quality for Instagram photos/videos!
It's generally better to shoot in 24fps if you plan to create a project with 24fps. But 60fps of course give you the possibility to create slow motion...
It looks like the transition at 0.03 is a jump shot. It looks like he split up his walking shot and cut out certain times to make it look like he's jumping through hyperspace. Then sped up the split shots a bit to give it some extra flare! That's what I think 🤔
Great video. I'm using my iPhone 12 Pro Max to shoot fitness videos at the gym for social media platforms and the fitness app I deliver my programs to clients. Currently, I'm shooting 4k at 60FPS. Do you have a recommendation for the best camera set-up for an indoor space with black walls and LED daylight lighting?
Exactly the software I would recommend: Premiere or Resolve. I would probably try Resolve: the basic version is free and Premiere can get really expensive due to the subscription model
I just bought the 12 pro max just clarify you cannot set the video to 24fps right? Just do 60 and slow it down to 24 in the editing part? Thanks for the videos I am learning a lot. Do you have another video for which ND filters to buy and case?
Hi Greg, you can set the frame rate to 24 fps in camera. But then of course you will not be able to slow the footage down when editing. And no, I didn't make a video about ND-Filters for the iPhone. Usually Polar Pro makes good filters.
Can’t tell which is more helpful, the instructions or the unexpected ASMR.
Really great video! One additional thing is, that you de-sharpen the footage a bit, to get rid of the over sharpened iPhone footage
Man this video couldn't have come to me at a better time!
I feel this!
I'm shooting a new documentary on my iPhone 12 pro max, and this short tutorial is so helpful. Thanks!
Your voice is so deep and effective.

Actualy i am not interested on the content 😜but i am inlove to the VOICE😍❤️🌹
Great video, are there any filters we could use to remove lens flare or green dots, I don't mind the flare, but that green dot is unsightly.
There are some filter sets for the iPhone (i.e. ND-Filters by Polar Pro) but I'm not sure if they will really help
Excellent video.
Question: which stabilizer would you recommended for Iphone 12 Pro Max considering the weight of the phone?
Cheers!
Would you mind sharing a link to the simple non-Gimbal hand grip?

I've been watching your video since I got my first GoPro. What do you calll the type of transition you use at 00:03?

🙂 just two simple jump cuts - no retimining
I agree…It’s better to create your own look.
If video Disneyland day out . What setting should you use ?

Do you have a recommendation for the best camera set-up for an indoor space with black walls and LED daylight lighting?
Hm, usually indoors you may get better results with lower frame rates - 24 or 30fps. Buying a proper video light could also help you.
What is thr name of program that you use for editing?
Also can I use the programs in my mobile?
FCPX (only Mac)
Great video. Do you recommend any video editing software for Windows?
You should try either adobe Premier, gopro studio for you, finalcut or davinci resolve
Exactly the software I would recommend: Premiere or Resolve. I would probably try Resolve: the basic version is free and Premiere can get really expensive due to the subscription model

WHAT SOFTWARE DID YOU USE TO COLOR GRADE THE VIDEO ON THE IPHONE?
FCPX
So its best overall to use 30 fps or 60 fps ????
No, if you want to achieve a cinematic look you should use 24 or 25fps.
Does this apply to the pro max ??
Yes
Jesus where did u take those videos ? Castlevania
Italy - South Tyrol
european accent make it sound more expert somehow. but at the end of the day, we will just shoot videos at the default setting.
