I'm buying this today for small work around the house and area rug cleaning. I have a 13hp 4000 psi and a 20" surface cleaner for all my flatwork & Softwash needs. The setup time for the Ryobi is a 1/3 of what the beast takes. Looking forward to having something simple to do the simple.
Mike. I thought I read that the water needs to be primed before you start up the actual on/off button. Maybe that's why it did foam up ? just a thought as I had the same issue with my kratchner electric power washer. I just bought this one as well. Thanks
about the siding power washing bit, i think if you have to get close to the surface just for it to be effective, i'd rather just use a long broom/brush dipped in soap water.
This is not a cordless power washer. It draws too many amps to be wireless. The only wireless Ryobi pressure washers are 320PSI ($129) and 600PSI ($219) and neither are worth those prices.
@@MikesWorld1 okay thanks yeah I bought the 320 on second-hand. Out trying to start a trash bin cleaning business. But that one wasn't cutting it so I picked this 1800 one up. Thanks for the review I'm probably going try it out today.
@ljbeats6906 I have an answer. Mine did the same thing today when I power washed my house. It’s air in the line. Hook everything, turn on the water, don’t turn on power to the washer, make sure no tip is in the wand. Pull the trigger and let all the air filter out until it’s just a slow steady stream of water coming out. Now put your tip on and turn on the power washer. Should work perfectly.
Just so you know the soap applicator IS NOT a foamer - Maybe you should look in the manual before you say the applicator is a piece of junk. I have had several pressure waters over the years and NONE of them have come with a "foamer" - but they have all some way of applying soap. So - suggestion - read through manuals of products you review and actually learn what the various parts are really designed to do.......Better luck reading the manual the next time...........
Is it safe to use the 1.5 and turbo nozzles on cars or will chip paint also do i need or can i use the 1.5 with foam canon?Is it safe to use the 1.5 and turbo on front porch siding and windows?I dont know alot about pressure washer so anything you can tell will help!Thankyou!
I used the 15° nozzle on my Roush Ranger today. I wouldn’t use the turbo nozzle though. The turbo nozzle will strip concrete. I probably wouldn’t use it on windows either. 15° nozzle is fine.
I heard the 1900 psi unit pulled that many amps but did not know how many the 1800 psi pulled. I have some old breakers on my farmhouse that are 15 amps. It was built back in the 40's when people did not have many power tools. Thanks.

Maybe a bit overkill for a dirt bike. You could've gotten same results with a 600-1000 psi washer. This one is more for car detailing
The 600-1000 psi washers are junk. They don’t have enough power to knock off thick mud when riding on a wet track.

I think the foamer would work better if you changed the orifice to 1.1. (might try different soap meant for foam cannons).
The included foam canon has a fixed molded nozzle and can’t be changed.

You’ll still need to spray rinse the siding after using the brush

Mike, if I read correctly, uou have to use the yellow turbo nozzle to get foam. That 15°is not the correct attachment
You can’t use any nozzle with the included foam canon. It has its own nozzle that can’t be replaced.
The power nozzle is useless. I would throw it in the garbage but all in all it's a good power washer.
I wouldn’t say it’s useless. It works better than the other nozzle when I power wash my house.

As long as it’s primed and the air flushed out, it can go as long as you are willing to wash.

Any idea as to why mine leaks from the hose?

Tested it out before I bought it, it wasn’t leaking then,
When I connected my hose it started spraying water/leaking
even 2300PSI is too weak for sidewalks
Understood. I was able to clean my sidewalk with it but it’s a very slow process.
