To be honest I discovered the Scrambles only last year, but agree the mix of vehicles is unrivalled by any show and the venue is amazing.

What a fantastic range of vehicles Simon.
As you know I interviewed a Panhard CT24 owner last summer, these are incredibly rare cars.
There is clearly a market for reimagined iconic 80's cars like that Delta Integrally, the car people wanted built to combine the best of that period with modern components and production methods.
I believe the Essex Esprit Turbo were the first of the Turbo charged Esprit and the 007 numbering would be the icing in the cake, even though Bond had the earlier N/A car and then a regular Esprit Turbo.
I've got a diecast model of the Essex just like that one.
I really like the Ferrari 308/GT4 as it's got that 70's wedge styling but before the era of bolting on additional body work so the cars had a cleaner look.
You will need to get a lot of overtime in Simon if the kids want one of those scale down classics, very impressive as they are.
The Miura looks like an early one as it's got the lashes around the headlamp, later models were just painted black in that area. Also I believe the SV had more flair in the rear arches to accommodate wider tyres. Very early cars had thinner chassis tubing which was known to twist.
In my opinion these are the most beautiful car ever produced, not perfect with their gearbox mounted in the sump of its transverse V12 but if I had a spare £2m it would be top of my list. I've only ever seen one which was in 2021 at the NEC.
Porsche 930 supersport looks great and white 930's are am iconic poster child of the 1980's.
The BMW 3 0 CSL looks rather striking in that colour with those box arches.
I've heard of the Toyota Century but never seen one in the metal, not even in SE Asia.
Green isn't normally my choice of colour but must admit it suits that Espada very well.
Great that you got to see the GMA T50. Reminds me of seing the F1 at the NEC back in the mid 90's. I'm actually torn between thenT50 with its central driving position and the much prettier 1960's mid engined car insured styling of the T33. Either way for those fortunate enough to own one they are cars built for the drivers enjoyment rather than to set break lap times or be more powerful than the competition. I wish more of Gordons car philosophy was adopted in main stream cars.
I think the older 200 series Volvo may well have outlived it's successor but both were incredibly popular and loved by those who owned them.
I've only ever seen the BMW Z1 on TV or in books.
Nice to see the Alpine A310 and A610. The 610 and GTA feel more GT car than the 310 with their much more luxurious cabin.
It's sad really that even the French didn't buy the car dubbed the French 911 but chose to buy the more expensive Porsche.
The GTA and 610 from memory were about £29k/£30k back in the 1990's in the UK.
Right at the end of the video I think I spy a Renault Sport Spider in the background while your looking at the blue BMW. The Spider are very rare cars. I recall Renault Leeds having one on a raised platform in the 90's. These Aluminium sports cars used the 2.0 16v F7R engine found in the Clio Williams and Megane Coupe.

Thanks Mark, I was really pleased to see the Panhard and realised that it inspired Citroen.. not the other way around.. a full video of the car on another channel is here: ruclips.net/video/RU1qiv3X28c/видео.html Like you, I think it's sad that the GTA wasn't a commercial success and so much rarer than a 944. Interesting how many parts came from the parts bin as well. As for the Little Car Company creations.. they're amazing but totally out of reach of most people..my 6 year old won't be getting one, that for sure! If you get the chance try to get to the season closing event with the October event and join the basic level Scramblers club which is free as you're in the ballet to bring your car into the main display area and you get first info on the next tickets.
