    No one talks about how much money and time you save on buying groceries when you’re fasting…what a benefit! Food prices are so freaking high. New to this journey, easing in slowly with 20 hour daily fasts and less than 20g of carbs w/high protein. Results= 5lb lose per week x 3 weeks (15lbs in 3 weeks) this is major for me before I seriously struggled with weight loss. Thanks for sharing your journey. I can’t wait to begin extended fasts! Baby steps🤣

    My favorite salad is basically taking a bag of whatever salad and instead of using the prepackaged dressing and fixings, I use my own which is balsamic vinegar and olive oil, shredded cheese (light amount) garlic powder, croutons, and nori furikake seasoning.

    I just found your videos, and I’m interested in attempting to do this as well. I’ve done 28 day water fast to help lower BP (268/127)and weight (192lbs) loss & constipation and joint cramps. Then on next 3 days I did organic bone broth. Now I’m at 151lbs and my BP 127/88 then I started Carnivore diet which helps with everything.

    I can no longer eat any bagged salad as the smell of chlorine is so strong! I usually by green and red cabbage, carrots and make coleslaw with homemade dressing

    Just broke a 60 hr fast myself after not feeling quite right this morning. Woke up with a major headache and nausea.
    Ate a kiwi, and everything got better. I think rather than eating fully, I’m just going to get right back to fasting since I feel better now!

    You said you are 5'3 so I find it amazing you can eat those amounts of food. I am 5'7 and would not be able to finish that sallad bowl 🙂 keep up the good work!

    Currently fasting watching people eat is my guilty pleasure 😂❤…. I love chipotle chicken salad, adobo beef salad and tuna salad… but currently doing carnivore so no salad in weeks 😢

    Coleslaw mix (red cabbage and carrots )from hy vee or Wal mart add mayo liberally. I also do a baby spinach mixed with iceberg, cucumber, tomatoes, seasoned chicken, and seasoned the salad, ranch dressing add doritos

    There's a southwestern ranch salad kit that has freeze-dried corn in it. Adds a sweet crunchy element. So good!

    Taco salad! Seasoned ground beef, your favorite greens, any veg you like, for example black olives, Cilantro, onion, jalapenos, tomato, avocado, shredded taco cheese, a tablespoon or 2 of the liquid beef tallow, sour cream, salsa!

    Touching the j Brussels sprouts, they are the best when roasted and seasoned. My favorite is getting Brussels sprouts from Smashburger. It’s crack!

    My favorite salad starts with 2cucumbers, 2 small avocados, black olives, fresh garlic and red onion slices. I use Panera Bread’s Fuji apple dressing and some black pepper. Squeeze half a lime to brighten it all up! It’s so creamy and tastes delicious. If you try it, let me know! 😌

    What app are you using to track how long you are fasting? Now that I look closer, it looks like the Zero app. Are there any other apps any of you like that just track the time (duration) without having to leave the app running? That is the only feature I really need.

    Cucumbers. Yellow, green & red bell peppers. Banana peppers, avacados, and grape tomatoes on top of your greens/cabbages of choice.

      I can speak for myself and husband and say its way way cheaper! Bc now we are not even eating everyday. So you are probably not going to overstock your fridge and cant eat much from the pantry bc most of it is processed [assuming you have children and buy them some snacks] and for me I want to limit the processed food as much as possible. But not going to lie, sugar free boxed pudding will ALWAYS be a refeed go to for me! 🤣

    I have no idea how you can eat that much after fasting that long. My stomach shrinks or something bc after a fast I get full sooo quickly. Lol. Not hating, just genuine surprise.

      I'm the same. I generally break a fast with something small, ... bone broth with fresh Thai basil or a little homemade Skyr/kefir. Followed an hour or a few hours later with something more substantial yet still quite moderate, always including homemade fermented foods.

    I enjoy Brazil nuts.. when I break my fast I usually have a handful.
    Great for potassium, magnesium, protein, ect.

      Thinking about breaking a 90 hour fast tomorrow but not 100% sure on what to eat. I’ve heard break with bone broth and then eat small meals of protein working up to adding veggies. Thoughts?

      @@nicklewis2023 Bone brother is a good idea. I’d suggest staying away from pepper, garlic, and onions for the first day. May it a liquid only day. You’ll need to signal your body to start turning back on your digestive system. Then the send on day is suggest liquid for most of the day with a small portion of a fatty meat (ie bacon, ground beef)

    I do rolling 42s but no way can I eat 2400 in one day so I'm always at a caloric deficit which is what I'm aiming for anyways. Do you always try to eat this much on refeed days or do you ever eat significantly less? Wouldn't this technically encourage binge eating?
