At age 45, after 3 marriages I gave up relationships and tapped into my inner Jeremiah Johnson. At nearly 70 now I have lived alone for 25 years and it has been the happiest time of my life. I adore it. I can have solitude any time I want it and can be with friends if I want that. For me it is the best of both worlds.
At 40 I was divorced, children grown. At first, being alone was not fun, but I noticed I could come and go as I pleased, no one to wait on or clean-up after, no complaining, no arguments, no drama, complete control of the remote. Freedom... I like it!
I discovered the same exact thing, I also couldn't believe how much money I have now, no more buying 2 of everything, Not having to buy gifts, trips, vacations, no sponsoring a females free everything life. Why spoil some else who doesn't really deserve it but simply because she has a vagina when vaginas are literally ubiquitous when I can spoil my own damn self!
Same for me, except I enjoyed the peace and quiet of alone and then developed a lot of relationships with friends. Didn't make the leap for years, then wished I'd done it sooner but I wasn't ready. I always watched what she was wearing on Get Smart, great fashion model!
I was divorced at age 42 and moved to another city where I worked and raised four daughters. At 90 years of age , I look back at the past 48 years and realize how much I appreciated my freedom to live my life my way without having to compromise constantly. I have no regrets Had I met a man that I loved, I would have lived separately. Freedom was contentment! Get Smart was one of my favourite shows of all times. Barbara Felton was classy, sweet and funny. A great actress!
I think she made the right move. Once you get married and that person turns out to not be who you thought they were, you realize "This could happen again" and shy away from marriage. I also feel it can be very freeing to stay alone. Your own place and you can do what you want to do. Some people are quite happy being with themselves. (I would say adding a dog or cat really is the icing on the cake) Blessings Barbara~
Funny how some people will get married quickly before they truly know the person. They don't think about it like "would I sign a contract to go into business with this person?"
Some years ago, a friend of mine, who worked in an electronics store on East 86th Street (interesting coincidence), watched Barbara Feldon walk in the door one day. He is a fan and immediately attended to her. She wanted to buy a computer, and what impressed my friend was that she was something of a geek. She new a lot about systems, modems, etc. and challenged my friend's knowledge for a good 20 minutes before buying, what she thought, was the best computer for her. My friend was always impressed by Barbara's looks, but after this encounter, he was impressed with everything about her. She was charming, thoughtful, smart and inquisitive.
Some people marry and have kids for all the wrong reasons anyway. They project an image of perfect wedding and family bliss but the truth is that many aren't even that happy. Some stay together for the kids and because a divorce is expensive. I respect the fact that she's living life on her own terms regardless of what others might think. Good for her!
I think all Get Smart fans have expressed the hope that Barbara Feldon would live to 99 and Don Adams would make it to 86. Alas, Don died at 82 but thankfully Barbara is still on track for reaching her milestone.
Hope she has a healthy and fulfilling decade and lives to 99 and beyond! She is a beautiful and classy lady. Don Adams, who would have been 💯 April this year, passed prior to his 86th, was 82. Chaos agents wouldn't allow Don to live to 86 and more I'm sure, along with reaping other havoc. If Don was here, he would be on to them and use his 👞 📱 to report in.
Actually, I didn’t know she was still alive, and I think that’s pretty awesome that she has the courage and strength and fortitude to be alone at her age not many women can do that that speaks volumes of her self assurance

So glad we have remained "internet friends" for so long...looking forward to many more years! Enjoy the spring and warm weather, text with you later. God's blessings to you. 🙏
I live alone and love it as well! After an "early" (just in my early twenties) unsuccessful marriage (no children), I was open to the idea of another marriage, but that did not happen, and I fully accepted it as "the way it is." As the years passed, I discovered that I could take fun trips by myself (visiting Hawaii a few times) and I always met good company along the way. Over the years, several people have asked me if, "I hated being alone." My answer is always the same - "I love it, as I can do whatever I want, when I want." (I have many dear friends whom I see). Well, I do also have a very pretty and lovable black and white cat, "Mabel," who can be a bit bossy at times, but I give her a full pass, and life is good. Congratulations to the very lovely and classy Barbara Feldon - I'm hoping that we see her turn 100. Cheers to all!
Having gotten married in my late 30’s I was happy but my wonderful wife being bi-polar decided I was the reason she was unhappy and decided to end it. After several years I realizes I was happy single and that the women I met either had too much baggage or were just looking for a meal ticket. At turning 70 in a week I’m happy living with my dog and living my life as I want. I understand Barbara’s reasons for staying alone. She was one of my favorite actresses in the 1960’s. Wonderful actress.

I remember her sophisticated voice. She dripped class in a way that was insoucent and amusing. Barbara would have made great work in the roll of Emma Peel in The Avengers.
I've always loved her in GET SMART. I was fortunate enough to meet her in the 90"s at a Pennsylvania resort. She was very friendly and easy to talk with. It is nice to see that she has found a way to enjoy life on her own terms and without apologies. I hope that she continues to enjoy life to the fullest.
Alone is NOT the same as lonely! Last time I heard her was when Gilbert Gottfried (R.I.P.) interviewed her for his podcast. She still had the same sexy, sweet unique voice, and that's how I'll always remember her. I think she even baked Gilbert and his co-host cookies (they interviewed her in her home), so that's how sweet and classy she is.
Wow I've never had the pleasure of being married or meeting a Man who was truly Worthy of me. Yes I'm a single mother and grandmother, college educated and I Love my freedom its beautiful and peaceful. Blessings to all of you who love this life style 😊🙏🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹
Fact is that single women live longer than married women. While married men live longer than single men. Paradoxical but true. Much respect to Barbara Feldon for her wonderful career and spirit.
She was always cool breezes to me, even as a kid watching reruns of Get Smart. I always liked her, she never seemed bothered by anything, and I loved that about her...As for living alone, it is not the stigmatized life most people believe it is anymore. We are never really alone if God is in your life...
It’s not bad being alone. Maybe it depends on the type of person/personality you are. I understand exactly how she felt about making your own decisions and not having to compromise constantly. You can live where and how you want to, and go where you want. When I was married my husband refused to get on a plane or ship, limiting my ability to travel and see parts of the world I always wanted to see. I can go wherever I choose to go now. I think as long as you have friends to visit with from time to time you’re never really alone. I value the time with myself, reading, watching shows/ movies I like, traveling and creating art. Time has zoomed by, but I don’t miss the companionship.
She lives a life that makes her happy, what we all seek. When I have been in a relationship with a man, I was always feeling controlled. Living alone has given me a life of freedom and peace.
No not at all, being married is not for everyone.I’m 58 and still single, I like to come and go, with out answering to any one, I love 💕 having that freedom.
I would love to live alone. When my partner goes away for a week or so, I am on a different time schedule. And living in New York is the best. Always something to do. Never really alone there. 😊❤
As a man, she was a beautiful woman to watch. As a consumer of comedy, she and ‘Max’ were a standup team. Ss many belly laughs. Her manner - face , voice , gestures - was so expressive . Kind of a mirror opposite to Goldie Hawn’s ( and Maxwell’s) ever-straight expressionlessness. I hear that Duck Van Dyke just took a job with some production : perhaps someone there might inquire if Ms Feldon would be interested in a reunion ?
I find myself looking n the same mindset of being at peace living alone. Barbara, I admired your role as a classy and intelligent agent on Get Smart, instead of a typical dumb blond role often portrayed in Hollywood. Live life and enjoy. 😊
i loved her in Get Smart. i am not surprised she is living alone, she was in a documentary many years ago to do with people who are older and single. i admire that. i am older and single too.
@@FactsVerse within you reviewing them they were all particularly artistically sound. However, as a performer, it seems now that nothing could compare of course to "Get Smart." That was not just an artistic accomplishment, it was a part of our social entertainment history. Working in a Mel Brooks creation was a major plus for any actor.
Husband deceased, children grown, they visit frequently. Love, love living alone,c ome and go as I please, see who I please or not. Love this time of life, it’s for me and my dog.
Kudos to her for following her heart and doing what she chooses. I live alone and I love it. Granted I'm disabled, but I can be me and do what I want without answering to anyone. Interesting upload. I didn't know of her. I appreciate your informative upload. Thank you😁
I'm 63, soon 64 and I've had 4 heart attacks and prostate cancer. I hated being alone, the 4 walls closing in on me. I recently got married to a Philippine girl. I'm happy
I was surprised and extremely pleased to learn more about Ms. Barbara Feldon, I enjoyed her as Agent 99. My wife and I have decided to move to Kittanning, PA and are currently making an offer on property in the Butler, PA area so I have space to digitally inventory a lifetime collection of Detectives, Spies &Private Eyes. This Legacy will be to "launch" the P.I. Museum Collection on the internet for FREE so everyone can enjoy it. Hopefully, this "launch" will be at the World Association of Detectives 100th Anniversary Conference to be held in Chicago, Illinois in August of 2025. Can anyone pass my comments to Barbara? I'd be very grateful. Respectfully, Ben Harroll & Gloria Poore P.I. Museum's Founders & Curators and now Barbara's neighbors! P.S. - I have a fictional section and am pleased to say that I have Get Smart memorabilia as well. Of course I have a Maxwell Smart Shoe Phone in the collection. I even bought a Pink Stilletto Shoe Phone for Agent 99!
It kind of does surprise me she always had this very friendly as a person from what I seen her in movies she always seem to have this I bet guys will love her kinda woman as well as being friendly

I adored, and still adore, the wonderfully refined, cultured and sophisticated Barbara Feldon. A woman for whom the word 'elegant' might have been coined. I had a massive crush on her. To me she epitomised the very essence of classy self-respecting allure. And she has always been gorgeous. I'm delighted she is still hale and heart at 90 and wish her continued health, happiness, success and peace. Barbara - thank you for everything.
Living alone is not bad at all. It's peaceful and happy. Complete freedom. I think the reason she has made it to 90 yrs old with all of her faculties is because she remained single and child free. Everybody is different, and what works for one person may not work so well for the next.
Barbara's sense of comedic timing was absolutely perfect in Get Smart as she played "straight man" to the bumbling Maxwell Smart (Adams). I'll always remember her as that beautiful, fresh, young and talented actress whose inescapable logic acted as a foil to Don's dim-witted antics. They had a great on-screen chemistry.

She has a very excellent point and she knows what she's doing and she's self-sufficient most people are not most people cannot function she will excellent job
I always thought she was fascinating! I loved Get Smart! I have been trying to figure out who she reminded me of and it finally hit me. Physically (in her youth) she reminds me a bit of Melissa Joan Hart. Wow! I felt a brain cell pop!
Feldon was in a made for tv film called 'Lady Killer'. It was made by the writier and creater Brian Clemens for a British 70's tv series called 'Thriller'. The film also starred Robert Powell. I just watched it and Feldon was amazing. Clemens was also responsible for writing many spisodes for the 60's tv serires 'The Avengers' and 70's series 'The Professionals'.
Living a lone life is doable when you're rich and famous. Promiscuity is also doable under those conditions. But please don't think that many people in her situation are happy with being alone. At 95, I feel great joy when hearing from my many progeny, every day. I have seen too many single oldsters living in nursing, assisted living and independent living facilities who are miserable. Thank God for the family organization.
Long live Barbara Feldon!!!! I never married, lived alone and then took care of my mom and now that she's gone I'm alone again and I have never been unhappy being alone!!! I'm having lawyers working on my Italian dual citizenship and hoping to get back to Europe for an extended time...I was able to work for 6 months in London in the mid-80's after multiple trips to the UK and Europe. I always traveled solo!
Living alone for an extended period of time can certainly be challenging, and it's understandable to feel lonely and isolated. Humans are social creatures, and we thrive on connections with others. Isolation and loneliness can have negative effects on our mental and physical health, including increased risk of depression and anxiety. If you're feeling lonely, there are some steps you can take to try to combat those feelings: Stay connected with friends and family: Even if you can't be with them in person, make an effort to stay in touch through phone calls, video chats, or social media. Get involved in activities and hobbies you enjoy: Joining clubs or groups related to your interests can help you meet like-minded people and create new social connections. Volunteer: Volunteering can be a great way to meet new people while also giving back to your community. Consider getting a pet: Pets can provide companionship and unconditional love, and taking care of a pet can also give you a sense of purpose. Seek professional help: If you're struggling with loneliness and it's impacting your daily life, consider talking to a mental health professional who can provide support and guidance. Remember, it's important to take care of your mental health and well-being, and there are resources available to help you if you're feeling lonely or isolated.
It's funny that I clicked on this now. I have had it up to here with my LTR. HE'S ALWAYS SICK AND I am Burned Out with his problems. This tells me my decision toleave is right. I can't believe all the women on dating sites wanting a husband and children when they get older than 30. They complain, whine and seem so. desperate. Don't they realize how lucky they are to be single
It's not bad living alone. The only time it bothers me is on those holidays that should include someone you love, like Christmas or Valentine's Day. Otherwise, it's actually pretty great. I was married for a while (no kids)... I do like living alone much better. 👍
Just watched Cheers for the umpteenth time when she and Sam Malone met up every valentines day for 20 years! As a British citizen, I thought she was absolutely enchanting in this and fell hopelessly in love with her and her character! Simply lovely!

We're very happy to know that you're a fan of Barbara. What is your favorite role of her?
She looks good for her age she came along way bless her heart ❤️.
Well said, we strongly concur! Thank you for watching our content and for sharing your thoughts. What other types of video would you like to see?
Yes! She is truly recognizable unlike some!
I love her book, Living Alone and Loving it! Such an enjoyable and positive book!❤❤❤
Us too! Thank you so much for bringing back memories. Be safe and have a great day 💗
It was a great read and so simplified 😊.
She lives a life that makes her happy, what we all seek. When I have been in a relationship with a man, I was always feeling controlled. Living alone has given me a life of freedom and peace.
I love Barbara Feldon!
No not at all, being married is not for everyone.I’m 58 and still single, I like to come and go, with out answering to any one, I love 💕 having that freedom.
Barbara Feldon looks amazing ! My gosh, l would be surprised if l live that long and could only hope to look as good as her ❤️❤️
Couldn't agree more! Thank you for sharing your views on this. In your opinion, what is Barbara's finest role?
@Facts Verse , l must confess to only knowing Barbara Feldon in Get Smart 😁😁😁 "Oh Max" 🤣🤣🤣 Gee that is going back 😃😃
RIP 86
Always agent 99
Loved her in Get Smart….Going to Look for her book!
One of our favorites too, you've got taste! What other types of video would you like to see?
I have her book about living single.
I would love to live alone. When my partner goes away for a week or so, I am on a different time schedule. And living in New York is the best. Always something to do. Never really alone there. 😊❤
Interesting, thanks for sharing! What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
As a man, she was a beautiful woman to watch. As a consumer of comedy, she and ‘Max’ were a standup team. Ss many belly laughs. Her manner - face , voice , gestures - was so expressive . Kind of a mirror opposite to Goldie Hawn’s ( and Maxwell’s) ever-straight expressionlessness.
I hear that Duck Van Dyke just took a job with some production : perhaps someone there might inquire if Ms Feldon would be interested in a reunion ?
We're very happy to know that you're a fan of Barbara. Thanks for sharing. Which of her roles appealed to you the most?
Just the TV series, although I now recall her on Rowan and Martin. But, now, I will look for some of her movies .
I read Barbara's book when I divorced after a too long 37 year marriage. I was 57. I have gone on to teach classes on living alone and loving it!
Fun stuff, thanks for sharing! What other types of video would you like to see?
Barbara Feldon went to high school in my hometown of Pittsburgh. I loved her in Get Smart. A laugh out loud funny show!
Fun stuff, thanks for sharing! Be safe and have a great day ❣
I find myself looking n the same mindset of being at peace living alone. Barbara, I admired your role as a classy and intelligent agent on Get Smart, instead of a typical dumb blond role often portrayed in Hollywood. Live life and enjoy. 😊
Glad to know that you're a fan of Barbara and has the same mindset. What other types of video would you like to see?
Loved her on Get Smart...she was so cool...too bad she was type casted...you go 99👌👍😎❣
One of our favorites too, you've got taste! What other types of video would you like to see?

She looks great at 90. I will remember her as agent 99. Beautiful and talented lady.
We absolutely agree! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. Be safe and have a great day!
Belated Happy Birthday to one of my favorite actresses.
Thank you so much for your message for Barbara. In your opinion, what is her finest role?
@@FactsVerse within you reviewing them they were all particularly artistically sound. However, as a performer, it seems now that nothing could compare of course to "Get Smart." That was not just an artistic accomplishment, it was a part of our social entertainment history. Working in a Mel Brooks creation was a major plus for any actor.
I'll remember her well.
I absolutely love this lady. As sexy as they came. And, Get Smart was an iconic classic T.V. show. Happy 90th! You’re still beautiful!!!
Thank you😁
Beautiful words, thank you for your message for Barbara. We're moved. Which of her roles appealed to you the most?
I'm 63, soon 64 and I've had 4 heart attacks and prostate cancer. I hated being alone, the 4 walls closing in on me. I recently got married to a Philippine girl. I'm happy
Very interesting, thanks for sharing your life story. How is life being married to a Philippine girl?
A unique and beautiful woman .
Beautiful words, thank you for your message for Barbara. In your opinion, what is her finest role?
I think Barbra feldon is just great!of course 99 on get smart. But I think she was good in everything she did!
Us too! What is your favorite role of Barbara?
I was surprised and extremely pleased to learn more about Ms. Barbara Feldon, I enjoyed her as Agent 99.
My wife and I have decided to move to Kittanning, PA and are currently making an offer on property in the
Butler, PA area so I have space to digitally inventory a lifetime collection of Detectives, Spies &Private Eyes.
This Legacy will be to "launch" the P.I. Museum Collection on the internet for FREE so everyone can enjoy it.
Hopefully, this "launch" will be at the World Association of Detectives 100th Anniversary Conference to be
held in Chicago, Illinois in August of 2025.
Of course
I have a Maxwell Smart Shoe Phone in the collection. I even bought a Pink Stilletto Shoe Phone for Agent 99!
It kind of does surprise me she always had this very friendly as a person from what I seen her in movies she always seem to have this I bet guys will love her kinda woman as well as being friendly
We absolutely agree! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. Be safe and have a great day!
She is so adorable and she looks like my wife.
She is strong woman who decided to live her life on her own terms.
Hope she stays 99 all the time

SHE'S Super/Great!! Always Loved Agent 99!! All The Best To You Always, Barbara/Agent 99!! You Are One Of The Greats!! CHEERS ALWAYS!! BEST ALWAYS...😀🤩😊😍☺😊❤
Fact is, most of us will be living alone by the age of 90.
Or living at all.
Sad but true.
Living alone doesn’t mean lonely 👍🏻
Absolutely, we feel the same way! Thank you for sharing your sentiments and for watching our content. What other types of video would you like to see on Facts Verse?
I liked her in Get Smart.
One of our favorites too, you've got taste! What other types of video would you like to see?
About time people realize older people dont need to end up im any nursing home they can live on their own!!!😊❤😊
I loved all her clothes.
Us too! Thanks for the trip down memory lane. What other types of video would you like to see?
Barbara's sense of comedic timing was absolutely perfect in Get Smart as she played "straight man" to the bumbling Maxwell Smart (Adams). I'll always remember her as that beautiful, fresh, young and talented actress whose inescapable logic acted as a foil to Don's dim-witted antics. They had a great on-screen chemistry.
Absolutely, we feel the same way! Thank you for sharing your sentiments and for watching our content. What other types of video would you like to see on Facts Verse?
She was brilliant in "Smile"
One of our favorites too, you've got taste! What other types of video would you like to see?
She's got 9 more years, then she will be 99
Let's hope she gets to be at least 100!
Solitude is addictive.
She has a very excellent point and she knows what she's doing and she's self-sufficient most people are not most people cannot function she will excellent job
Lovely video. Thanks for sharing!
I always thought she was fascinating! I loved Get Smart! I have been trying to figure out who she reminded me of and it finally hit me. Physically (in her youth) she reminds me a bit of Melissa Joan Hart. Wow! I felt a brain cell pop!
We're happy to know that you're a fan of the show. In your opinion, what is its best episode?
I just always loved the dainty way she would deliver her lines as Agent 99 . Classy , wholesome sex appeal Barbara Felton has !
Well said, we strongly concur! Thank you for watching our content and for sharing your thoughts. What other types of video would you like to see?
A beau full and very intelligent lady. ❤
At 71, I have enjoyed living alone, it's hard to argue with yourself.
I don't want to make fun of people who have the disease, but you can argue with yourself if you are schizophrenic. (j/k)
She was my cousin's dance teacher. That's one of her jobs that you did not mention.
I am not sure price
There's a lot of people are content
^^ &" vary Happy 😊
Keep care
Fact verse 💯 .
Keep care.
❤ Barbara. So funny and smart in her performance as 99. She was equally as talented as Don and often stole the show.
I always loved Barbara on Get Smart. I will always remember Agent 99. Beautiful actress, played the part with class.
Ive been living alone over 20 years i hate it Its so lonely
Living alone for an extended period of time can certainly be challenging, and it's understandable to feel lonely and isolated. Humans are social creatures, and we thrive on connections with others. Isolation and loneliness can have negative effects on our mental and physical health, including increased risk of depression and anxiety.
If you're feeling lonely, there are some steps you can take to try to combat those feelings:
Stay connected with friends and family: Even if you can't be with them in person, make an effort to stay in touch through phone calls, video chats, or social media.
So why didn't you give the scoop on her husband? We are dying to know the dirt on him!
She looks better than most women at 90. She’s kept herself modern looking which I value too.
UH, CUZ SHES ASHKENAZI/KHAZARIAN ... THAT WILL TWIST ANYONES HEAD ...
