    To all of the people who believes these old 2 stroke bikes break down easily just stop talking about things you dont know, durability depends on the driver.

      @@grmateiradumatei As far as performance, both are essentially the same, both about 33 at the crank, both tuneable to at least 30 at the wheel, both likely to blow up if you do tune them to that. They're both old Italian 2 stroke racers meant for the track, leaving the only difference being looks, and let's be honest, as beautiful as the rs125 is, the mito was designed by Massimo tamburini and is one of the best looking BIKES let alone 125's ever made, it has better suspension, better brakes and it is by far the best looking of the two.

    You guys so lucky to have these cool bikes. I’m 50 and would love to have that rs125. Where I live we don’t have any cool 2stroke bikes or scooters.

      US im guessing? The RS50 atleast was sold here for some time so was the SR50. im looking at picking up one myself.

      @@Winner3ty those are sweet. If I had that scooter I would do full 2Fast 100ccor Roost Havoc 100cc on it. My Yamaha jog has a 94cc polini big evo, but I have a 2Fast set up waiting on the side.

    I wanted a rs125 so bad when I was 17 6 years later I finally own a aprilia. Unfortunately not a 2 smoker though

      My brother used to have the Europa 125, that's a very good looking street fighter. The 2 stroke engine doesn't fit the appearance, but some exhaust systems it sounds better

      It wasn't learner legal then. They were restricted by the exhaust, carb jetting and CDI.

      30+ hp came from de-restriction (which was suspiciously easy to do).

    What Hammond forgets is these are Italian bikes...they will break...often....and will cost lots and lots of pennies to fix....before something else breaks!

      I had a Cagiva Raptor 125. It had no problems. You're forgetting that you don't know what you're talking about

      i have a cagiva which is 19 years old. 125cc 2 stroke. Only one problem during this time: carburetor flooded once, got it fixed for 5 dollars and it never happened again.
      the point being: Italian machines are great in general. Cars (alphas especially) brake down a lot, but their bikes live their intended life happy

      My dad has a cagiva ala rossa from 1984 and still works great
