CLASSIC Hanna Barberra toon from 1980. Loved it as a kid, and i didnt even realize a trio of figures had been made. Now here it is 10 yrs after their SDCC release, and theyre 200 bucks a POP!!! Eh, i might grab each one as i can afford to do so as this toon ranks high in my arsenal of animated box sets n my collection.
Lords of light! I haven't seen these animated wonders since they first aired. Would've been a great finishing touch if the creators had designed the two-faced villain. Thanks for the post.
Love the review and details of this fan fav! Miss the days .. hoped there were more episodes in the series.. the sunsword (starwars) .. the alien 'vampire' (alien).. the werewolves .. apocolypse.. travelling around world saving people .. what a series!!
Ruby Spears was a separate company up until 1981. Thundarr was made in 1980. They were sister companies from 1981 on wards, then in 1991 Ted Turner bought both companies and by 1996 Time Warner buying all of Ted Turner's assets. Warner Archive is now crediting all Ruby Spears productions as from the HB collection. Must be because of WB legalese.
haha finally !!!!! I was asking if you forget about this line ! Very nice toy collection of Thudarr. I wish other 80´s series like Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors could have figures like this. By the way they look awesome together !!!
The tragic thing about my Ookla was when I took him out of the packaging initially, one of his boots popped out of its socket, and to this day haven't been about to get it back in securely. It will just fall out if I try twisting it now :-(
Hey Pixel, have you seen the new Spider-Man movie figures? There's a couple with the Ben Reilly costume you may appreciate. I was also surprised to see brand new Batman figures at stores.
So Dan you plan on also doing reviews of the Herculoids? & do you know if Toyami be doing any other Action Hanna-Barbera Animated Shows cause I would think be Awesome if they did The Pirates of Dark Water What you think? lol

Would love to see a figure of Mindok the Mind Menace
I distinctly remember this guy having split toe boots. Also both boots and underpants were jet black, and his skin was more on the orange side.
Now Dan can shout,"Ariel! Ookla! RRRRRIIIIDE!" Er, except that they have no horses.
I loooove this character and toy!!!

Did any toy company make Ookla's alien steed (horse) ? Will they?
I can’t wait to get them on my shelf. From eBay
The sculpt is incredible but the colors seem kinda off. Hated missing this whole series in stores. Sucks how pricey this stuff is these days.

Have you ever seen the series? It is pronounced muck not mok.
Muk, mock, mock, muc. Who gives a crap? Its spelled with an O. Let people pronounce it however they want.
