I don't do diamond paintings but love watching your choices and progress. As always your crochet cardi gorgeous and great job on the knitted top. I have bought the pattern previously for the cat blanket and was daunted by not knowing how big it would be. But each project is completed one row at a time! The tip about the bobbins is so useful as the sections are too large to carry the yarn, which I think was also stopping me from starting. Lion wool. Your open weave top in the ivory tweed is a classic. I love it. And I love the color of your beautiful knit top as well. I did not many shades of orange/red/pink for years as they clashed horribly with my red hair. I looked clown-ish, especially the way it would wash out pale complection. One great thing about aging is that white hair looks great with some of those colors now.

I enjoyed hooking the cat’s meow blanket, made it for boggy creek. I did not use bobbins, but did make a cake for each color change, just kept them in line in a basket. The trick is to alternate when you turn the blanket for the next row, which helps to keep the yarn from tangling. Your open weave cardi is lovely! Thanks for giving me hope the I will eventually learn to knit 👍. My finished blanket is on my channel if you would like to see the colors I chose. 🤗🧶

Pouch. Wool. I believe I have a couple of skeins of the Audine wool in my stash. I am currently working on Berroco’s mystery blanket make along. So, no cat blanket for me. Besides my yorkies wouldn’t like the cat. 😂
Whenever I find a need for bobbins (I live almost 40min away from a decent craft store that actually carries a variety of accessories and supplies beyond basic) I will reach for an empty power towel roll. I'll cut them to a shorter tube while also making a few deep suits on one end to feed the yarn through to hold so it doesn't unravel with movement. Sometimes, a girl has to make due with what she has on hand 😅 Though I really should take one of my left over boxes from a package one of these days and just make my own bobbins. Probably way more space saving
