Surf-riding dogs draw thousands to Pacifica beach

On Saturday, Pacifica hosted the World Dog Surfing Championships and the thousands of spectators were nearly as delighted as the canine contestants. Da Lin reports. (8-3-24)

There's nothing more pure than watch dogs enjoying a day at the beach they just are so happy to be frolicking in the water! It makes me so happy watching them. One day, I make a special trip to watch this

Its so very obvious that the dogs are NOT enjoying this at all, and most are actually terrified. Clinging on for dear life. But....its the classic case of people seeing what they want to see, and not seeing whats actually going on.

This is abusive to the dogs. It should be stopped. Humans have no right to mistreat any animals . Using animals for our entertainment is horrible!
