Why does the fixed cross seem to be the most important? How does it relate to the mutable and cardinal cross? Are those important also and in what way?
Hey there! The fixed signs are so important to understand and they’re encoded in so much literature and art because they are the “purest elements of the seasons.” What I mean is that each fixed sign is in the middle of the season. Taurus is in the middle of spring. This is the purest earth element. Leo is the middle of summer, Scorpio middle of fall, and Aquarius, the middle of winter. (Northern hemisphere) The amount of purity that’s in each of the fixed signs is something that challenges us. It’s the relationship between these signs that gives birth to reality, to consciousness, to us. I would have to do more research on the mutable and the Cardinal crosses. I’ll probably make a video on this soon! It’s honestly not easy to find this information. In my opinion, of course, the other crosses possess the same elemental energies in different forms. They present as different archetypes. The fixed cross would be the most pure, the most powerful, and the most definitive. It’s the most common to see in ancient literature and art!
I’m finding that the 3 crosses of the zodiac are related to the Holy Trinity.. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable. Cardinal signs start out the season. (Happy spring equinox by the way!) The sun enters Aries today as we begin spring in the northern hemisphere. Cardinal signs are completely about the generative principle. The father. The Creator. Fixed signs are the middle of the season and contain the purity of the element that they are representing. Mutable signs are the third stage in creation. This is about upholding the creation. I really want to go in depth on this in a future video, stay tuned!
