- How to utilize the elements in witchcraft is the basis for todays video. Now the elements in witchcraft are super important. They allow for us to increase the energy within our witchcraft as witches. As an individual who struggled with the elements when I first started, I made it a goal of mine to make sure you all are brought very detailed information because the elements in witchcraft are not something to take lightly. There are positive and negative effects to these elements and some creators do not give all the info behind these elements which make them dangerous for beginner witches to use. But this video will explain in depth how to utilize the elements in witchcraft, how to stimulate the elements to benefit you in your craft, and so on! This video will have something for everyone, beginner witch tips, witches who have practiced for some time, and more! Here are some of the elements and what you will be working with for todays video.
Spirit Element:
Spirit is unlike the other four Elements in that, since it is part of everything, it does not have any specific ritual or magical correspondences (at least in most traditions). One exception is color-it may be represented by the color white, as white is comprised of all colors combined. Spirit does not have an associated gender, energy type, season, or cardinal direction. It is associated with the entire Wheel of the Year, and all magical tools.
Fire Element:
Fire is one of the four classical elements in ancient Greek philosophy and science. It was commonly associated with the qualities of energy, assertiveness, and passion. When speaking about the element of Fire, we have to keep in mind that this is the only element that shines. Water can sparkle, that’s true, but only if it reflects the light created by Fire, whether a campfire or the Sun as an enormous fiery celestial body. This is the element that represents energy itself, and even though there is a lot of earthly energy in the element of Water, it cannot be compared with the amount of energy that lives in the Sun, even though they might be equally important to the human race.
Water Element:
Water is one of the classical elements in ancient Greek philosophy along with Air, Earth and Fire. It is commonly associated with the qualities of emotion and intuition. This is the element of constant movement, but slow and steady, swirling inside each of us and holding on to its mystery. This is the element of conception and death, of illusions and fairytales, holding the secret to our Soul, its beginning and its end. In the element of Water we literally deal with matters of life and death, of our genetic inheritance and all of our ancestors. Strangely, this is also the element of emotions. We all have to understand that our emotions have already been lived through by someone in our family tree, and they are passed on from generation to generation, mostly through the role of the mother.
Air Element:
This is the element that connects all other elements, even though it might seem less relevant, invisible as it is. The distance from the nature of Earth lifts us up high, in impractical and mental planes that don’t satisfy our physical needs. Still, this is the element that can be found in all others, keeps the fire going just like the Sun burns hydrogen. We may say that the beginning of life wouldn’t be possible without Fire, but there would be no Fire on our planet without Air.
Earth Element:
The element of Earth is the sole purpose of all elements, since it represents a basis for each of them, for our existence, and something we all want to accomplish - materialization of our desires. This is a somewhat complicated element because it is stiff and unmovable, especially when a person has a lot of planets in it, but not enough of them in the element of Air to balance it out.

I don’t use watery liquid water in my spell jars but i use the power of the element by adding a seashell, like i would put some coal to represent fire.
When I was a preteen I was reading on witch's an the crafts, I wish I would of kept learning of it. I got very scared to stop learning I'm over 50 years old. Last I had learned about witch craft was 12 years old . With your videos it is helping me to relearn what I had knew an known
Start out slow and work your way back in if thats what you wish! There is never a rush when following your chosen path!

I'm a baby witch, only been at it for a year and have been taking my time with research, I was recently told in a reading that Hekate is strongly reaching out to me, so been researching her a lot but I'm so glad I found your channel!! You explain things very well and has helped me understand things better.
Love the video. I read a book that states that the elements correlation to direction (North, East, south and west) changes from location to location. Where I live air to me is North this is due to cyclones and typhoons, they're North of where I live. Water to me is East as I am on the east coast, if we go west of my location water is extremely scarce. Fire is south, this is due to bushfires which occurs there every year. Bushfires only occur in the southern part of my country. Earth is west. This is due to the fact I am on the east coast and not on the west coast. In the centre of my country is deserts and unlike the USA hardly anyone lives in the interior of our country, this is mainly due to the lack of water. People do live in interior but they're isolated to the rest of the country. If you lived in the interior and you got very sick you have to wait for the flying doctors to come get you and fly you to the nearest hospital which could be days travel by car. But hours by plane. These are reasons why the elements change direction to where you are. It wouldn't make sense to have the element of water in the west, when that element doesn't really exist there. Same goes with earth. If you went east for land the closest large landmass is south America and that's an easy 19 hour flight. So, why would earth be in the east when there is no land for a very long distance? When it comes to direction you follow your instincts. I use the elements all the time. These are direction I associate with them. Things are always different between the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere. For example, here on May 1st is Samhain but for you it is Beltain. It really gets confusing at times, lol. Keep up the great work.

Why is there so many people that talk like they actually can use magic like making a fire ball or a water ball but no one can show it, I don't get it, this is all really confusing
What about elementals? Or is is that different.
I read about them in Practical Solitary Magic and they seem to be pretty important when balancing the elements. But I don’t see anyone talking about them when they do these kinds of videos so I wondered that same thing as you. From what he was saying about the side effects of not balancing each element those same side effects seemed to be pretty much what the book was saying about what happens when the elementals are not in your favor. So much research is involved in the craft. Haha
