This was an awesome video! I personally am not looking into working with Hecate but I am drawn to a lot of the things she loves as offerings so I am not sure if we would work together well. The deities I am always drawn to since childhood is Poseidon, Lucifer, and the cat goddess in Egypt. Quick question: Is heavily being drawn to the items that deities love a sign that I can work with them or is it more of a coincidence and shared interests? I haven't worked with a deity before and I am studying as much as I can on the three I mentioned before I offer anything.
She also likes tiger eye, amethyst, specially coral. If you give her flower, it's 3 not a bunch. She likes to see death, so let the flowers die till they're dry. She likes toads, she loves skeletons. She loves garlic, onion, pomegranate, crescent shaped pastries. There's so much she likes but, you can offer her what calls out to you as well. She's not picky with other dieties from my religion, which are Orishas. And the reason why dieties not service you, it's depending who is the one who wants too in a certain issue. I recently gave her some garlic infused honey that my mother in law made as a medicine, and I could feel that it was something she really would have liked. I guess it’s needless tp say she loves it, but darn it, I’m always really happy when she loves the offerings I give her. She loves seeing research being done on her epithets, mythology, she loves the creation of prayers in her name, and she absolutely loves art pieces of her or her symbols. I drew her a picture of her and a big black dog as a stand-in for a statue, and I cannot describe the joy she gave off. Every emotion she has is extremely powerful and it’s so overwhelming but so cool!
For those who can't / don't want to purchase a statue. It can be very expensive, and shipping often times BREAKS statues, so do prevent this.. I highly recommend getting a picture frame and printing out a nice depiction of Hecate to serve the same purpose as the statue. This can work for ANY god or goddess too. Thanks for the video LW
I feel so bad that I have to hide Hecate’s altar during the day (I’m living with my parents). She is the best and deserves the best!! I literally went to a craft store and got a tiny plastic dog figurine and painted it black. I also put dog hair on my altar so she remembers my pups :)
Yes, I would also like to add that if she has chosen you, then she has chosen you as one of her own. She is not the type that will abandon you, but she will leave and allow you the time that is required to get back into alignment, and to fix the issue. After all, what good is it for her to hang around and to be involved in your life, if it's gonna do her and you no good. Once the issue is fixed, she will then return and continue to lead and guide you, to work with you. Her intention is not to bring fear or confusion in your life, her intention is not for you to desperately seek her, or to desperately try to win her favor. The whole point behind this is to communicate that you need to change somthing to continue walking on a path of growth and restoration. She operates this way because she wants to encourage personal growth, for you to use your intuition, magic, and discernment to develop your abilities and gifts. This is all part of you coming into a closer relationship with her. so don't think of it as you ruining your relationship. If she didn't see potential in you then she wouldn't have chosen you. If we act out of ignorance, then there's no reason for us to be held accountable, but if you know you should do something, then you better do it. If you refuse to do it you will experience her leaving untill you fix the problem. And it will be an unpleasant and sometimes long process to win her favor again. You have to prove that you are worthy by Taking action.

Thank you. Here's my grain of salt on the matter: I don't think he is lying to us. I feel, repeat: "feel", that he is a very abled, "normal" person. And I think his experience actually aligns with his personality. Legends tell us that Hecate wasn't even involved in the vast majority of other's deity's drama. She is very reserved. She's like the cool presence in the party who is not drinking or dancing; that doesn't mean she's just a loner or whatever, nor that she feels superior to everyone else: she just, is. She is like the coolest person ever, while not shouting at your face how cool she is. She doesn't need to prove it to anybody. So, I think that human experiences with her might be vastly different from one another, not just because we are all unique, but also based on the fact that there are... "party people", and then there are the silent ones. She fosters the outcasts. People who have been othered by their societies. Abandoned. She understands true trauma. I see a lot of correlation with the Autistic community as well: one channel dedicated to her here on RUclips is even hosted by an openly autistic woman, while a similar channel is hosted by another woman who, I'm pretty sure is also on the spectrum. I feel that, her presence is for us, like that one of a momma bear. That she is to us. But that doesn't mean she will be mean and deny a typical, abled person, a connection. That being said, her energy might change towards more "normal" people. She might not feel the need to be momma bear for them. So, for those of us who feel like her energy is very, very different from what he is describing, consider that maybe that's the blind spot: these might be no lies, but a different facet of her grace, depending on that crucial factor. She feels like home to me. Funny that isn't it? that a lot of us describe her energy as fostering. As a hug. Hug, is a recurring word so far as I can see. That's the hug she gives to her children, not to a co-worker. :) All experiences and connections are valuable, but they are bound to be different. Have a blessed day everyone.

She is really picky. She chose me during a tarot reading, I had a friend who works with Hermes read my cards for me and Hekate kept popping up. Hermes is the god of messengers, so it was kind of funny because I had no idea who she was before the tarot reading and it was like Hermes was passing on the message from her to me. I prayed to her and instantly I became fascinated with her and I was so excited that she was reaching out to me. She is very picky, he’s definitely right. She doesn’t like grapes as an offering, I’ve learned. I found out that she reaches out to victims of violence, and she protects her children very aggressively. She is extremely protective of her followers that she chooses, but she is (in my experience) very motherly. Lots of tough love! And she taught me a lot the past month. She taught me a lot about the craft itself, and she is very particular about how she teaches. She also likes a big altar and lots of offerings and attention. I know that some other people have had different experiences with her, but in my experience her presence is very motherly and stern, like a respected teacher but it is also very comfortable. If you are hurting she will comfort you and do all she can. She wanted me to learn about herbs, if you get the chance to read entering hekates garden, it’s super helpful. She demands a lot but at the same time is very understanding. I asked her to bless my pets as well! For my first deity it was definitely intimidating but very centering. I love working with her but I am very thankful for her presence.

Don't forget that you can also volunteer at a dog shelter or if you can rescue a dog in her honor. She also appreciates you caring for the dead and taking a walk in graveyards/cemeteries. Hecate definitely will let you know if she is not pleased. Also worth mentioning is the new moon, her sacred days, and leaving a deipnon at a crossroads or somewhere outdoors. Very well done 👌🏻

not everyone can have altars, but you can do things to honor her. foster dogs, take in and rehome a dog, offer help at an animal shelter, or donate! even learning more about her is very appealing to her.
I love that! I appreciate that perspective. I'm not currently in a position where I can have anything elaborate out in the open, but I started wearing jewelry, clothing, and crystals that I feel she enjoys. It's more subtle, but still very intentional.
Hecate revealed herself 2 years into my craft, saying she has been with me my whole life but wanted me to meet my other deities first , but looking back now, she was always there. Looking back there are so many signs that she has been with me all along. I was born on 3/31, I have lived at a 3 way crossroad many times in my life, I have had 2 dogs in my life that I have had a very special bond with and I have always been a night owl. When I first got into witchcraft I had a vision of a woman that I now believe was hekate too. There are more but I can't remember them right now. I love Hekate and recently bought her a statue and she loved it so much. She has been very caring and understanding towards me given that I have adhd, anxiety and am autistic. Sometimes I forget an offering and I feel bad but she's always been stern but nice about it.
I always burn an incense for her everyday and wear her circle . I had a lot of signs she was near like dogs barking near by after her chant , I do pet sitting and was asked out of the blue to overnight sit a jet black German Shepard . That very same dog woke me up at 3 am and we went outside and I felt like someone was there

All great suggestions. Her colours are black, red, white & yellow. Herbs, Mint.. incense typicaly Myrrh. Offerings. Honey is a favourite. If your vegan offer almond milk. If you dont drink..Pomegranate juice. My advice would be to research her symbols & associations.. it's all online. Learn the Orphic Hymn & about her major rituals such as Deiphnon. And set up an altar, simple or elaborate, as you like, as to what resonates with you personally, that makes you feel connected to her. Some I've seen is a simple as a little Greek oil lamp & a key. Your aim is to shift your consciousness to feel the connection, to build your relationship. Your house keys, just leave them on your altar when your in the house. No need for 2 sets. No need for expensive statues, just frame a post card or print of a picture. Better still make your own as a devotion.
If anyone is hesitant to work with Hekate I recomend Jason miller’s course. Sorcery of hekate it’s an intense 6 month course and is very comprehensive and in depth.
Hecate has been personally contacted me to work with me for YEARS. When I first started practicing witchcraft I was hesitant of working with deities but i accepted her offer a few weeks ago. Your video is very helpful I really enjoyed watching it :) and by the way, a little tip, her name is pronounced “heh-KAH-tay” or “heh-KAH-tee”

During the beginning of my spiritual quest. I studied and self-initiated as a solitary practitioner, I chose Hecate as my deity. Prior to my initiation, I had a friends daughter draw a 2 panel scene taken from some pictorial image I came across. I had the dedication items etc on my alter, being that my alter was in a corner, the panels were situated great. As I begin the process, and fell deep in meditation, I focused on her and my given Wiccan name. Within 20-25mins, the hairs on my arm stood up and I felt a presence. The next thing I knew, I heard my Wiccan name whispered in my right ear, then felt a touch on my right shoulder. I was not scared nor nervous but was calmed and conviction in embarking on this path was planted. Although my journey has been wonderful, I have been able to collectively utilize my knowledge and continually grow spiritually. But I will say, growing up Baptist and praying to God/Jesus etc… neither touched me so quickly as the Thrice (Triple) Goddess… it’s interesting, in Egyptian mythology, Heqet, is the counterpart of Hecate…
You are not kidding if you make her mad. I've never worked with her until after she basically scolded me in a dream a few weeks ago. I woke up scared as hell, nothing like being grabbed under chin and forced to look into the eyes of Hecate while you are yelled at for not doing what you were born to do. All the while her wolf pack is surrounding us. But I will say it was the kick in the butt I needed to get back to expanding my craft.
With respect to you, i asked the man in black, aka old scratch (devil) who i felt called me, if i could serve Hekate instead. He was in agreement, and two days later, Hekate sent me a dream, and we've been very close ever since. I consider myself a devotee to her now after several months of worship to her. I don't practice a lot of magick mainly because of a lack of tuition, i.e., not being able to find a coven and self-doubt problems. But my heart is willing. Maybe it was meant, i don't know, but i feel that it was me that requested to serve Hekate, and she accepted. Hekate's love for me is there none the less. So i agree with you on some things like i know that Hekate will take no nonsense from people, but she is extremely patient and understanding. All things said, the relationship with any deity is an extremely personal one.
Goddess Hekate is very very special to me. I feel her when I am working on myself and my craft. She feels so powerful when I clicked on this video mother crone is with me and guides me. I love her so much she brings me happy tears. She is gentle and soft spoken, she is a wonderful deity to focus on and devote too. Im telling you she's amazing. She helps you grow and she does give you signs. She will always be with you as you learn more and more about the dark and light path of the craft. I wrote out a prayer to Hekate today before I left. I kept thinking about her through out my night as it went by. I pulled in the drive way and I went to message something and right at that moment, 12:34a, my internet went out. A little while later, as I was going into the house, dogs were barking. Her presence is so strong. Its almost electric. I havent been able to really build her an alter yet, being that Im between jobs, but it seems shes telling me im on the right path. It also feels like I have been blessed by Her and she wants to work with me. )O(
I feel that Hecate has been reaching out to me for quite a while now.....Her name keeps coming up in my day to day life and now that I have researched her I find that my alter is basically set up for her.... all the things that she loves are the things that I love. Also I live in a town called Proserpine, named after Persephone.... I've always had a special bond with My Dogs and always had Dogs, my life isn't complete without at least one in my life. I rescue, foster and rehome Dogs. At 67 I've only been consciously practising. When I first felt a call from Hekate I was, and still am, very intimidated. To the point of scepticism; I've been in the craft for maybe a year and never worked with any Diety directly before. But many aspects of my life even from before I began practicing align with what I have heard from you and others about her.
Her calling to me wasn't very loud/ crazy like others, but like you, once I did more research on her it made complete sense why she wanted to work with me. I also wasn't expecting it lol.
I just love your statement about dieites in the beginning! Never give up, if a certain deity doesn't want to work with you! You will find the right one or the right one will reach out to you one day. See it as a journey! :)
I was lucky enough to be chosen by her during and extremely difficult time with little knowledge about her. I am blessed and work very close with her. She is intimidating sometimes sure but she knows me and she knows what’s best for me and if I make the wrong decisions she hates it

Skeleton keys are and always have been the one thing I can’t help but collect and some of my earliest poems, perhaps premonitions, written in childhood were about crossroads and gates, rather unsurprisingly because I’ve had more than one near death experience. I feel like she was there for me the whole time although I didn’t know who it was. And now I don’t feel like she’s here to help me so much as she’s demanding I step up to help others who are going through or healing from traumas similar to the kind I’ve surpassed. I can’t deny the command, but I’m at a loss as to how/where to begin and afraid of falling short. But I’ll keep doing my research and hopefully learn to listen better. These videos help a lot!
Hey, I have also had alot of near death experiences, I think I'm currently a grand total of 5 of them. Each time I have come out of them without a single scratch. I have always felt that there was someone protecting me from harm. I now believe it was Hecate who has been saving me for years. I am only at the bottom of the stairs when it comes to knowing her, but I will continue my craft and hope she will be there to continue guiding me !
Hecate is picky but when she wants to work with you she will seek you out VERY PERSISTENTLY! There will be NO way that you can ignore her, she will make it VERY CLEAR she wants to work with you 💚
I feel so special right now! I had such an urge to buy flowers yesterday and I chose red roses that called out to me (i usually buy a mix bouquet), this morning i woke up with my dog next to me; she never sleeps in my bed shes older and my bed is high so her bed is on the floor beside mine, and this morning when i came into work i brought a frankincense and lit it. I even found a random key!!!! I've been feeling mighty lost lately and now i feel so special because she chose me she sees me, she hears me! i am grateful and excited for my journey
Hecate has been seeking me for nearly 20 years and has built her own alter in my garden, stealthily without me noticing for quite a few years. 20 Years ago when I bought a home, I'd never heard of Hecate - my home is on a corner of a 3-way crossroads. The other 2 corners - one is a vineyard, the other native bushland. This home has a patio area with 3 paths leading into it. In the center is a large round bed that contained a nearly dead cherry tree. I replaced the cherry tree with a White Cedar sapling. That sapling had a single trunk. 2 Years later that tree grew out 3 main almost upright branches - you'd have to see it to get the full impact, but everyone who sees this tree immediately comments how the 3 branches are shaped like 3 women - the Maid, the Mother & the Crone. There is a deep crevice between the Maid & the Crone and it faces North - the direction of the Full Moon - and straight into the door of my home. The Mother faces South - the direction of the New Moon - and she overlooks my very very fertile vegetable garden.The Crone is even bent over, the Maid is straight and taller than the other 2, the Mother is broader and has a distinct belly bulge. Every year the faces of these stages of womanhood become more defined and recognisable as faces. Everything in the garden is in threes - no matter how many of a thing I place out, something happens and I end up with 3 - I installed 4 lights, only 3 work and no electrician can explain why the 4th fails every single time the wiring is repaired. I hung 4 horseshoes on the house wall facing the tree - one fell off and keeps falling off. I even find myself unconsciously making 3's near the tree - putting out 3 potted herbs, planting 3 of the same red rose, putting up a pergola with 3 posts facing the tree. When I realise later what I've done, I just shake my head and give in, it's clear I'm either being led or my instincts are too strong to override with logic. So I think it's time I gave Hecate what she wants - clearly I'm already doing that as I'm laughing at myself as you speak the offerings - Hecate's tree is surrounded by roses, bay laurel, lavender, mugwort, sage. She has a windchime made from old rusty keys. I am a dog nut - always got one or more dogs, the current one is a black shepherd. I just need to go get some crystals to place at her feet. Hey! I know this is an old video but it just randomly came up in my feed. I’m a baby witch, and haven’t looked into Hekate at all, and didn’t know much about her outside basic mythology. After watching this, so much makes sense and I got this intense wave of purpose, I’m 100% certain she’s with me 🖤 and very much has been for a long time
So I have not thought of witchcraft for myself, but last night I had an experience where I asked for insight during meditation. After, I went to bed and wasn't giving it much thought as I tried to find a sleep story online. I was so drawn to one and played it. I was all about Hecate and her origins. I had a feeling was over me as I listened and learned about her. I saw her vividly wandering the woods with a torch. I felt so much peace, and a strong connection with her. So much so that I came to RUclips today to learn even more (which isn't like me), and found out that she is widely worshiped. I don't know anything about witchcraft and would love to learn how to communicate and build an alter.
Before I knew Hecate was particular about who she chooses, I asked her aloud to guide me in my path. Within seconds I found your video on her, after seeing how you were I stumbled upon all the other wonderful advice you have to offer in your videos. Hekate has been calling to for a while and I do what I can to honor her but live at home with my parents and don't have money to buy stuff to put together an alter for Her, so to know that I could do something as simple as get a cheap black candle and light it each day in Her honor brings me so much joy.
I have been working with Hekate for the better part of 2 years. I've never heard that she specifically has to pick a person in order for them to work with her, or maybe I just got lucky. From the moment I had started working with Hekate she has been the easiest to communicate with and when I call upon her I always get a heartwarming feeling of comfort and my eyes usually well up with tears of joy. I usually leave offerings of things I can't take back i.e. incense or lighting a candle but I have left offerings such as meat and herbs i.e. Blue Vervain before. I have never had a bad experience working with her so whatever I'm doing must be sufficient. I do feel that you are knowledgable on this subject however, what works for one may not work for another. The beauty about the craft is that its never "The Way" it's just "A Way" I do appreciate you sharing this video because it is always nice to learn from one's own experiences. Someone introduced me to her yesterday (Saturday 1/28/2023) and I’ve never heard of this beautiful deity. As he was talking to me about her, he was getting chills! I definitely felt something so I’m doing my research
I said I would never work with a deity during my practice … then I meditated and came across Demeter. Oddly, she took me to Hecate after I decided not to work with Lilith or Medusa. Well, she appeared first and then Hekate let me know like a bus hit me it was her. She talks in sentences to me, if I ask for a sign it’s almost immediate. She’s terrifying and if I mess up, or don’t continue working on my shadow work, she’ll force me to by throwing obstacles in my life. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it if she chooses you.

About a week ago I was visited in my dreams by who I feel is Hecate as the crone. She wanted me to put together an herb jar and I immediately woke up and put it all together for her. I honestly feel it was her reaching out to me trying to tell me something but I’m still not sure because I’m new to spirits/deities reaching out to me so vividly in my dreams.
I've been going through a spiritual awakening for the past two years and my sister gave me a divine feminine tarot deck for xmas. I always do protected channeled messages before readings and when I pick my tarot cards, they almost always reflect VERBATIM what came through in my channelled message. I hate to burst your bubble but the only reason why Zeus didn't wish to offend Nyx was because it would've upset the Natural Order the Gods Themselves created. Since Zeus is the day-sky and Nyx is the night-sky, the two can not and should not have animosity towards one another. It's not that Zeus was particularly "afraid" of Nyx, it's that he would be breaking the very laws he established.
So I'm here watching this late at night as I've been woken up with a download and a desire to learn more about Hecate. She started working with me around 2 months ago and I've been working with her gifts doing energy healing. I have her, Saint Paul and also Paul the Venetian at the moment helping me. What I've been hearing makes total sense. What makes my day is sharing love with dogs and cats. Especially those who normally don't go to other people will come up and snuggle up to me in the street. I've been wanting to help out at a dog rescue for a while as well but haven't gotten into going yet. Yesterday I say a black obsidian necklace and felt really drawn to buying it even though it isn't something I would normally wear so I'm going to get that now. I'm being guided into helping people in relationships and trust issues at the moment. I've never worked with that before and then all of a sudden people are finding me for exactly that! I'm guessing that Hecate is wanting to bring some healing to these people. I'm really looking forward to learning more about her and seeing how we can work together

I have no words for the love, guidance and protection she has shown me. Not to mention the how much I've grown since working with her and I look forward to growing with her.
The three times back to you comes from her and was designed to help people find morality by understanding the consequences. With great power comes great responsibility. Few people are willing to do the work. She didn’t start out being THE goddess of the witches. But there is no greater power in this world. She predates most goddess powers in this world. She is THE Mother. My little dogs instinctively howl when she comes. Her energy is immense and beautiful. It is so much your hair stands on end. I wouldn’t say practice your witchcraft so much as practice your mind training. If your powers are created from your thoughts then learning to control your mind is the most important. It is the foundation of all things. Keeping ones thoughts high and pure helps all things you might do and answer the question of whether something should be done at all. Keys! She loves when you talk with her also (atleast in my experience) She enjoys connecting and knowing you well. It helps her help you. I also always (daily) light those candles for her (her torch lights the way 😉)
Sometimes when I'm at my altar talking to her in general or expressing stuff going on in my life my pet snake will wake up and slither next to where I'm speaking with her and seems super interested in what's going on and loves to get a good view and watch 😁 the night I first tried talking with hecate was after I kept getting these messages that seemed to associate so much with her and then I noticed my snake wake up around 3am and constantly look upwards and be active as tho something was there which I think was hecate
I'm not necessarily a practitioner but I do work heavily with energy particularly from nature, the moon and from myself with a focus on healing. Tomorrow is a dark moon and my birthday so I will be honoring her. I do not ask anything from her at this time, only open myself to her teaching and guidance. For years and years I was having dreams ever since I was a child of a woman with the torches lighting her path. Always had a voice that wasn’t mine or my conscience talking. Always had the strangest dreams. When I found out her who was reaching out to me. SHES LOUD! When she speaks so loud it made my nose bleed. I had gone asked this entity if this was and she was like dancing. It was almost like it all became so clear. My dreams and how I had the ability to see certain things others could not. I had been practicing witchcraft for years not choosing a deity cause I didn’t know who was trying to reach out to me. I’m still relatively new to learning about her. So thank you for this.
So I have been a practicing witch for around a decade. I have not had a need for a deity for the most part, but over the last, I want to say two years her name has popped up randomly in my mind (I just brushed it off, mostly because of self-doubt). her sacred animal being a dog also really hits a cord for me. dogs have always been here for me in my toughest times (and i’ve had long periods of time w out them too) but my dog i have now is MY first dog and i wanted her soooo bad. all i wanted was a dog, all i could think about was a dog and i worked to find her but how we wound up w one another was kinda random & she’s is PERFECT

In the beginning of my journey I read basic information and just started practicing with my own energy. Once my daughter suggested Hecate I knew she was definitely for me but I didn't want to push. I set up an alter, instinctively choosing herbs/candle colors/ect but I read about the keys. I left it, kept renewing it, and eventually when I had practiced for about 8 months I asked for an answer if she would work with me. I left 3 blood drops on a skeleton key, an oil I bought for her, and lit a candle and walked away. The wax had completely encompassed the key. 🥰 I usually talk to her while at my working alter and I continually get stronger instincts because of it. I bought some key dust and she digs that too. 🕯🌒🌕🌘🗝💜
I was certain Lady Hekate was calling me when I had a dream where I was leaving offerings on a crossroad, called her name 3 times, and immediately after a black dog started barking and ran in front of me. From that moment on, I knew she was there with me, watching over me and waiting for me to notice her presence. I already felt it before of course, her presence is very comforting and safe. However I feel a little bad because I cannot give her a grand altar like she deserves, my family wouldn't tolerate it and would definitely question me about it. I try to give her prayers and little offerings when I can, but she deserves so much more

Also for crystals, garnet preferably red, moonstone, amethyst and smoky quartz. I also find that having multiple spots for Hecate in my home helps. She has an altar in my bedroom and she also has a spot in my windowsill in my bay window. I have even made a little statue of Lady Hecate by hand and it sit in my work vehicle as I drive around so my God is always with me in some way shape or form. I hope this pleases her. I recently purchased a garnet pendant that I wear literally every day. I have had so many signs that she is with me. I cry every time I feel her. Such a beautiful presence!

It's always so weird to have Hekate, Nyx, and Apollo. Like you said Hekate is very very picky, luckily, she connected with me when I was just beginning in witchcraft, so she was kind of like my teacher. She's very strict, but in saying that, she's so understanding? I don't know how else to explain it, but I may sometimes go weeks without using her tarot deck (my form of communication with her) because I've been overwhelmed with life, and generally haven't kept up with my own health, and she's like... "pls take care of yourself then worry about me... I need you alive to communicate with you darling" Meanwhile, Apollo is more loud and aggressive, where I communicate with him every day because he's screaming in my head like a golden retriever Nyx is much quieter, but like Hekate, would not recommend making her mad. Did you know that Hekate is actually considered to be the daughter of Nyx, because Nyx, as the goddess of the night, was considered the mother of all those considered to be 'dark' deities. So I have two deities of the underworld and 'darkness', and then there's Apollo.
That is awesome! All of them are awesome deities to work with and they can teach you so much. Apollo has many playful moments with me, but yes, he can be all over the place sometimes, he is the sun god after all lol
Question: why do deities contact mortals when the majority of them can't perceive spirits? And why do deities need us alive on Earth to communicate when it's possible we will still exist as souls in the afterlife and thus be able to communicate better with entities? Doesn't seem logical for a higher entity to pass knowledge to us only for us to forget everything at death nonexistence.
Since you worshiping Hekate I just wanted to say did you know Hekate is the Triple when goddess that means she is Artemis and Selene and so that means Apollo is her twin sister and if you know Apollo and Artemis you know that they are very intertwined with each other whenever somebody mess with one of they followers they would both ride on a chariot and burn down the village of the person who messed with their follower Apollo would spread diseases and Artemis would shoot down the person Apollo's good and all until you messed with his follower that is or his sister followers
I love working with Nyx. She feels old, but also young at heart. Wants you to appreciate the dark of night to know that dark is not bad nor good. She's is super into the honor and soul of the person. I make a point to go to dark sky areas and just lay on my back and just take it all in. I haven't done any spell work with her, but I think Nyx is just a watcher. You do good things in the dark, you get rewarded. Bad things and she will unleash her wrath.
I was very surprised because she started to appear herself to me and I never even knew about her. I'm very respectful and careful, but super grateful at the same time.
Love your videos! I was really scared to get into witchcraft and i remember I'd sit by my window and stare out at the crossroad by my apartment at night and I'd feel a very comforting but stern presence. I had a feeling Lady Hecate was my patron, but I backed off for a little because I felt like I wasn't good enough and didn't want to anger her. I believe she waited patiently, and I now have a nice altar set up for her! I like to leave her tea and dried roses, dried rosemary and lavender. Lots of little frog trinkets as well. I've always had a strong interest in the paranormal, always felt the presence of spirits and a love for animals and people who also feel lost. I recently had a deity reading and it confirmed that she was around, I was very happy 😊 I just recently reached out to Apollo and he's very fun! I don't communicate with them every day since I do have depressive episodes where I just can't do much more than light their candle and offer stuff, but the first day I connected to Apollo he called me honeypop and it's definitely one of my favorite nicknames lol. It's a very cool older brother vibe. Always been very passionate about music, art, medicine (almost went to med school, absolutely LOVED biology) I think he's trying to help me get back into my love for art and creating things, and getting comfortable with masculine energy. Hecate came to me one evening in dream world. A pale colored woman, long hair black as a Black Labrador, sky-clad she danced around a fire. I wanted to dance too, but I uncomfortable and she said “matters not, child. Wear what you wish.” I than followed her in dance around the fire. I was 19 yrs of age at the time, now I be 49 and I am grateful for her choosing to work with me. She has saved me from making major mistakes within my life and go to her before I do anything I am uncertain of. Anubis is another deity I work with, as well as Kali Ma, Shiva, Loki, Thor, Odin, Ganesh, Papa Legba, Athena, Isis, so many I have worked with over the yrs. I love them all and I wish I could show you what they had shown me, but they mist decide upon that, not me. She had called to me in the start of my practice and I backed off I wasn't ready she has always been around but I have finally decided I don't wanna hide anymore. I am very connected to cemetery and I'm a paranormal investigator and she loves this side of me I feel. I just don't know how to completely connect so I'm just learning and journal and art and I pay respect to her hounds.
I have bought some books about her. Just to get to know her historical facts and background more. I also would recommend you journaling about your feelings for her and experiences. My altar helps me to keep a connection with her. She has recently popped up in a dream in the night time and showed me very clear it was time to connect again. Take your time - everybody has an own way to communicate and connect with her.
I have a dog and she always pops in to say hi when I'm doing a reading with Hekate :3 She's not that intersted in me reading when I'm doing it alone, but she'd shove her head between my arms and sniff around the cards and offerings when I do ask for guidance. This is so adorable to watch.
When I was in school, I worked for pocket money at a doggy day care. We had this beautiful rottie who’d come in, named Hecate. It meant Nothing to me at the time; I didn’t recognize the name. I just knew the dog was awesome. Fast forward until maybe 3 years ago. I now know Hecate’s name, know a little more about deities, and have done a little research. I said flat out yes.. I’m interested in meeting you and seeing if we can click, but I’m an idiot. Signs aren’t my specialty. I need foul proof, without a doubt, you’re trying to talk to me, or I’ll more than likely miss it. Well, one night I’m coming home, the dog is next to me in the car, and there’s this guy at the freeway underpass waving around a flag with Hecate’s wheel on it. I don’t think I’ve ever been so shocked or believed so quickly.
She somehow appeared everywhere to me until I realized she wanted to help me choosing a way... now I've chosen the way thanks to her and I feel she wants me to dive even more into the underground world. I feel however as if I wasn't appreciating her enough but she always try's to get me tho a hecate meditation and then we have some quite deep talks. She seems to me quite no bs but still warm hearted. Quite interesting to me.. she is quite cool but I was overwhelmed because I worked one time with a deity which was medusa. She then told me that it was time for me to move on to hecate and now I'm searching ways to be as productive and respectful as possible. usually when Lady Hekate comes to send me a message she uses my parents as her "medium". and boy it's true that she's strict and you don't want her to get mad at you. There was this time that I wasn't pretty much active in my studies because i focused so much on my practice and hanging out with my witchy friends as they became my comfort zone. and she told me to stop practicing my craft and shut my connection to my friends for a while because I will not graduate if I'd not make up for my missed activities and not attend my classes but I did not listen. And there came a day that my parents came to my room and checked my cabinets (I'm a closeted witch and my parents are hardcore pastors) and they found out that I was practicing witchcraft and they took and destroyed all of my things (except for the altar for Lady Hekate I was able to hide it pretty well). And every night my parents would take my gadgets and would be able to retrieve it during the day only when I have classes or school works, so yeah HAHA!
There are many more. He is the 3rd I see on RUclips with that. I really love that male aspect and power. Seeing men coming into their craft and power is awesome 💜

This was an awesome video! I personally am not looking into working with Hecate but I am drawn to a lot of the things she loves as offerings so I am not sure if we would work together well. The deities I am always drawn to since childhood is Poseidon, Lucifer, and the cat goddess in Egypt.
Quick question: Is heavily being drawn to the items that deities love a sign that I can work with them or is it more of a coincidence and shared interests?

She also likes tiger eye, amethyst, specially coral. If you give her flower, it's 3 not a bunch. She likes to see death, so let the flowers die till they're dry. She likes toads, she loves skeletons.
She loves garlic, onion, pomegranate, crescent shaped pastries. There's so much she likes but, you can offer her what calls out to you as well. She's not picky with other dieties from my religion, which are Orishas. And the reason why dieties not service you, it's depending who is the one who wants too in a certain issue. But, they all help and, sometimes people don't even know it.

I recently gave her some garlic infused honey that my mother in law made as a medicine, and I could feel that it was something she really would have liked. I guess it’s needless tp say she loves it, but darn it, I’m always really happy when she loves the offerings I give her. She loves seeing research being done on her epithets, mythology, she loves the creation of prayers in her name, and she absolutely loves art pieces of her or her symbols. I drew her a picture of her and a big black dog as a stand-in for a statue, and I cannot describe the joy she gave off. Every emotion she has is extremely powerful and it’s so overwhelming but so cool!

For those who can't / don't want to purchase a statue. It can be very expensive, and shipping often times BREAKS statues, so do prevent this.. I highly recommend getting a picture frame and printing out a nice depiction of Hecate to serve the same purpose as the statue. This can work for ANY god or goddess too.

I feel so bad that I have to hide Hecate’s altar during the day (I’m living with my parents). She is the best and deserves the best!! I literally went to a craft store and got a tiny plastic dog figurine and painted it black. I also put dog hair on my altar so she remembers my pups :)

Yes, I would also like to add that if she has chosen you, then she has chosen you as one of her own. She is not the type that will abandon you, but she will leave and allow you the time that is required to get back into alignment, and to fix the issue. After all, what good is it for her to hang around and to be involved in your life, if it's gonna do her and you no good. Once the issue is fixed, she will then return and continue to lead and guide you, to work with you. Her intention is not to bring fear or confusion in your life, her intention is not for you to desperately seek her, or to desperately try to win her favor. The whole point behind this is to communicate that you need to change somthing to continue walking on a path of growth and restoration. She operates this way because she wants to encourage personal growth, for you to use your intuition, magic, and discernment to develop your abilities and gifts. This is all part of you coming into a closer relationship with her. so don't think of it as you ruining your relationship. If she didn't see potential in you then she wouldn't have chosen you. If we act out of ignorance, then there's no reason for us to be held accountable, but if you know you should do something, then you better do it. If you refuse to do it you will experience her leaving untill you fix the problem. And it will be an unpleasant and sometimes long process to win her favor again. You have to prove that you are worthy by Taking action.

Here's my grain of salt on the matter: I don't think he is lying to us. I feel, repeat: "feel", that he is a very abled, "normal" person. And I think his experience actually aligns with his personality.
Legends tell us that Hecate wasn't even involved in the vast majority of other's deity's drama. She is very reserved. She's like the cool presence in the party who is not drinking or dancing; that doesn't mean she's just a loner or whatever, nor that she feels superior to everyone else: she just, is. She is like the coolest person ever, while not shouting at your face how cool she is. She doesn't need to prove it to anybody.
So, I think that human experiences with her might be vastly different from one another, not just because we are all unique, but also based on the fact that there are... "party people", and then there are the silent ones.
She fosters the outcasts. People who have been othered by their societies. Abandoned. She understands true trauma. I see a lot of correlation with the Autistic community as well: one channel dedicated to her here on RUclips is even hosted by an openly autistic woman, while a similar channel is hosted by another woman who, I'm pretty sure is also on the spectrum.
I feel that, her presence is for us, like that one of a momma bear. That she is to us.
But that doesn't mean she will be mean and deny a typical, abled person, a connection. That being said, her energy might change towards more "normal" people. She might not feel the need to be momma bear for them.
So, for those of us who feel like her energy is very, very different from what he is describing, consider that maybe that's the blind spot: these might be no lies, but a different facet of her grace, depending on that crucial factor.
She feels like home to me.
Funny that isn't it? that a lot of us describe her energy as fostering. As a hug. Hug, is a recurring word so far as I can see. That's the hug she gives to her children, not to a co-worker. :)
All experiences and connections are valuable, but they are bound to be different.

She operates this way because she wants to encourage personal growth, for you to use your intuition, magic, and discernment to develop your abilities and gifts. This is all part of you coming into a closer relationship with her. so don't think of it as you ruining your relationship. If she didn't see potential in you then she wouldn't have chosen you. If we act out of ignorance, then there's no reason for us to be held accountable, but if you know you should do something, then you better do it. If you refuse to do it you will experience her leaving untill you fix the problem. And it will be an unpleasant and sometimes long process to win her favor again. You have to prove that you are worthy by Taking action.
She is really picky. She chose me during a tarot reading, I had a friend who works with Hermes read my cards for me and Hekate kept popping up. Hermes is the god of messengers, so it was kind of funny because I had no idea who she was before the tarot reading and it was like Hermes was passing on the message from her to me. I prayed to her and instantly I became fascinated with her and I was so excited that she was reaching out to me. She is very picky, he’s definitely right. She doesn’t like grapes as an offering, I’ve learned. I found out that she reaches out to victims of violence, and she protects her children very aggressively. She is extremely protective of her followers that she chooses, but she is (in my experience) very motherly. Lots of tough love! And she taught me a lot the past month. She taught me a lot about the craft itself, and she is very particular about how she teaches. She also likes a big altar and lots of offerings and attention. I know that some other people have had different experiences with her, but in my experience her presence is very motherly and stern, like a respected teacher but it is also very comfortable. If you are hurting she will comfort you and do all she can. She wanted me to learn about herbs, if you get the chance to read entering hekates garden, it’s super helpful. She demands a lot but at the same time is very understanding. I asked her to bless my pets as well! For my first deity it was definitely intimidating but very centering. I love working with her but I am very thankful for her presence.

not everyone can have altars, but you can do things to honor her. foster dogs, take in and rehome a dog, offer help at an animal shelter, or donate! even learning more about her is very appealing to her.

Looking back there are so many signs that she has been with me all along. I was born on 3/31, I have lived at a 3 way crossroad many times in my life, I have had 2 dogs in my life that I have had a very special bond with and I have always been a night owl. When I first got into witchcraft I had a vision of a woman that I now believe was hekate too. There are more but I can't remember them right now. I love Hekate and recently bought her a statue and she loved it so much. She has been very caring and understanding towards me given that I have adhd, anxiety and am autistic. Sometimes I forget an offering and I feel bad but she's always been stern but nice about it.

All great suggestions. Her colours are black, red, white & yellow. Herbs, Mint.. incense typicaly Myrrh. Offerings. Honey is a favourite. If your vegan offer almond milk. If you dont drink..Pomegranate juice. My advice would be to research her symbols & associations.. it's all online. Learn the Orphic Hymn & about her major rituals such as Deiphnon. And set up an altar, simple or elaborate, as you like, as to what resonates with you personally, that makes you feel connected to her. Some I've seen is a simple as a little Greek oil lamp & a key. Your aim is to shift your consciousness to feel the connection, to build your relationship. Your house keys, just leave them on your altar when your in the house. No need for 2 sets. No need for expensive statues, just frame a post card or print of a picture. Better still make your own as a devotion.

During the beginning of my spiritual quest. I studied and self-initiated as a solitary practitioner, I chose Hecate as my deity. Prior to my initiation, I had a friends daughter draw a 2 panel scene taken from some pictorial image I came across. I had the dedication items etc on my alter, being that my alter was in a corner, the panels were situated great. As I begin the process, and fell deep in meditation, I focused on her and my given Wiccan name. Within 20-25mins, the hairs on my arm stood up and I felt a presence. The next thing I knew, I heard my Wiccan name whispered in my right ear, then felt a touch on my right shoulder. I was not scared nor nervous but was calmed and conviction in embarking on this path was planted. Although my journey has been wonderful, I have been able to collectively utilize my knowledge and continually grow spiritually. But I will say, growing up Baptist and praying to God/Jesus etc… neither touched me so quickly as the Thrice (Triple) Goddess… it’s interesting, in Egyptian mythology, Heqet, is the counterpart of Hecate…
Hecate came back for me, I walked away for a time. Hecate literally came back to me. She's actually working with me sharing wisdom.
You are not kidding if you make her mad. I've never worked with her until after she basically scolded me in a dream a few weeks ago. I woke up scared as hell, nothing like being grabbed under chin and forced to look into the eyes of Hecate while you are yelled at for not doing what you were born to do. All the while her wolf pack is surrounding us. But I will say it was the kick in the butt I needed to get back to expanding my craft.

I wrote out a prayer to Hekate today before I left. I kept thinking about her through out my night as it went by. I pulled in the drive way and I went to message something and right at that moment, 12:34a, my internet went out. A little while later, as I was going into the house, dogs were barking. Her presence is so strong. Its almost electric. I havent been able to really build her an alter yet, being that Im between jobs, but it seems shes telling me im on the right path. It also feels like I have been blessed by Her and she wants to work with me. )O(

When I first felt a call from Hekate I was, and still am, very intimidated. To the point of scepticism; I've been in the craft for maybe a year and never worked with any Diety directly before. But many aspects of my life even from before I began practicing align with what I have heard from you and others about her.
Her calling to me wasn't very loud/ crazy like others, but like you, once I did more research on her it made complete sense why she wanted to work with me. I also wasn't expecting it lol.

Skeleton keys are and always have been the one thing I can’t help but collect and some of my earliest poems, perhaps premonitions, written in childhood were about crossroads and gates, rather unsurprisingly because I’ve had more than one near death experience. I feel like she was there for me the whole time although I didn’t know who it was. And now I don’t feel like she’s here to help me so much as she’s demanding I step up to help others who are going through or healing from traumas similar to the kind I’ve surpassed. I can’t deny the command, but I’m at a loss as to how/where to begin and afraid of falling short. But I’ll keep doing my research and hopefully learn to listen better. These videos help a lot!
Hey, I have also had alot of near death experiences, I think I'm currently a grand total of 5 of them. Each time I have come out of them without a single scratch. I have always felt that there was someone protecting me from harm. I now believe it was Hecate who has been saving me for years. I am only at the bottom of the stairs when it comes to knowing her, but I will continue my craft and hope she will be there to continue guiding me !
Hecate is picky but when she wants to work with you she will seek you out VERY PERSISTENTLY! There will be NO way that you can ignore her, she will make it VERY CLEAR she wants to work with you 💚

Hecate has been seeking me for nearly 20 years and has built her own alter in my garden, stealthily without me noticing for quite a few years. 20 Years ago when I bought a home, I'd never heard of Hecate - my home is on a corner of a 3-way crossroads. The other 2 corners - one is a vineyard, the other native bushland. This home has a patio area with 3 paths leading into it. In the center is a large round bed that contained a nearly dead cherry tree. I replaced the cherry tree with a White Cedar sapling. That sapling had a single trunk. 2 Years later that tree grew out 3 main almost upright branches - you'd have to see it to get the full impact, but everyone who sees this tree immediately comments how the 3 branches are shaped like 3 women - the Maid, the Mother & the Crone. There is a deep crevice between the Maid & the Crone and it faces North - the direction of the Full Moon - and straight into the door of my home. The Mother faces South - the direction of the New Moon - and she overlooks my very very fertile vegetable garden.The Crone is even bent over, the Maid is straight and taller than the other 2, the Mother is broader and has a distinct belly bulge. Every year the faces of these stages of womanhood become more defined and recognisable as faces. Everything in the garden is in threes - no matter how many of a thing I place out, something happens and I end up with 3 - I installed 4 lights, only 3 work and no electrician can explain why the 4th fails every single time the wiring is repaired. I hung 4 horseshoes on the house wall facing the tree - one fell off and keeps falling off. I even find myself unconsciously making 3's near the tree - putting out 3 potted herbs, planting 3 of the same red rose, putting up a pergola with 3 posts facing the tree. When I realise later what I've done, I just shake my head and give in, it's clear I'm either being led or my instincts are too strong to override with logic. So I think it's time I gave Hecate what she wants - clearly I'm already doing that as I'm laughing at myself as you speak the offerings - Hecate's tree is surrounded by roses, bay laurel, lavender, mugwort, sage. She has a windchime made from old rusty keys. I am a dog nut - always got one or more dogs, the current one is a black shepherd. I just need to go get some crystals to place at her feet. Hey! I know this is an old video but it just randomly came up in my feed. I’m a baby witch, and haven’t looked into Hekate at all, and didn’t know much about her outside basic mythology. After watching this, so much makes sense and I got this intense wave of purpose, I’m 100% certain she’s with me 🖤 and very much has been for a long time
So I have not thought of witchcraft for myself, but last night I had an experience where I asked for insight during meditation. After, I went to bed and wasn't giving it much thought as I tried to find a sleep story online. I was so drawn to one and played it. I was all about Hecate and her origins. I had a feeling was over me as I listened and learned about her. I saw her vividly wandering the woods with a torch. I felt so much peace, and a strong connection with her. So much so that I came to RUclips today to learn even more (which isn't like me), and found out that she is widely worshiped. I don't know anything about witchcraft and would love to learn how to communicate and build an alter.
Before I knew Hecate was particular about who she chooses, I asked her aloud to guide me in my path. Hekate has been calling to for a while and I do what I can to honor her but live at home with my parents and don't have money to buy stuff to put together an alter for Her, so to know that I could do something as simple as get a cheap black candle and light it each day in Her honor brings me so much joy.
I have been working with Hekate for the better part of 2 years. I've never heard that she specifically has to pick a person in order for them to work with her, or maybe I just got lucky. From the moment I had started working with Hekate she has been the easiest to communicate with and when I call upon her I always get a heartwarming feeling of comfort and my eyes usually well up with tears of joy. I usually leave offerings of things I can't take back i.e. incense or lighting a candle but I have left offerings such as meat and herbs i.e. Blue Vervain before. I have never had a bad experience working with her so whatever I'm doing must be sufficient. I do feel that you are knowledgable on this subject however, what works for one may not work for another. The beauty about the craft is that its never "The Way" it's just "A Way" I do appreciate you sharing this video because it is always nice to learn from one's own experiences. Someone introduced me to her yesterday (Saturday 1/28/2023) and I’ve never heard of this beautiful deity. As he was talking to me about her, he was getting chills! I definitely felt something so I’m doing my research
I said I would never work with a deity during my practice … then I meditated and came across Demeter. Oddly, she took me to Hecate after I decided not to work with Lilith or Medusa. Well, she appeared first and then Hekate let me know like a bus hit me it was her. She talks in sentences to me, if I ask for a sign it’s almost immediate.
She’s terrifying and if I mess up, or don’t continue working on my shadow work, she’ll force me to by throwing obstacles in my life. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it if she chooses you.

I hate to burst your bubble but the only reason why Zeus didn't wish to offend Nyx was because it would've upset the Natural Order the Gods Themselves created.

So I'm here watching this late at night as I've been woken up with a download and a desire to learn more about Hecate.
She started working with me around 2 months ago and I've been working with her gifts doing energy healing. I have her, Saint Paul and also Paul the Venetian at the moment helping me.
What I've been hearing makes total sense. What makes my day is sharing love with dogs and cats. Especially those who normally don't go to other people will come up and snuggle up to me in the street. I've been wanting to help out at a dog rescue for a while as well but haven't gotten into going yet.

Few people are willing to do the work. She didn’t start out being THE goddess of the witches. But there is no greater power in this world. She predates most goddess powers in this world. She is THE Mother. My little dogs instinctively howl when she comes. Her energy is immense and beautiful. It is so much your hair stands on end. I wouldn’t say practice your witchcraft so much as practice your mind training. If your powers are created from your thoughts then learning to control your mind is the most important. It is the foundation of all things. Keeping ones thoughts high and pure helps all things you might do and answer the question of whether something should be done at all. Keys! Sometimes when I'm at my altar talking to her in general or expressing stuff going on in my life my pet snake will wake up and slither next to where I'm speaking with her and seems super interested in what's going on and loves to get a good view and watch 😁 the night I first tried talking with hecate was after I kept getting these messages that seemed to associate so much with her and then I noticed my snake wake up around 3am and constantly look upwards and be active as tho something was there which I think was hecate
I'm not necessarily a practitioner but I do work heavily with energy particularly from nature, the moon and from myself with a focus on healing. For years and years I was having dreams ever since I was a child of a woman with the torches lighting her path. Always had a voice that wasn’t mine or my conscience talking. Always had the strangest dreams. When I found out her who was reaching out to me. SHES LOUD! When she speaks so loud it made my nose bleed. I had gone asked this entity if this was and she was like dancing. It was almost like it all became so clear. My dreams and how I had the ability to see certain things others could not. I had been practicing witchcraft for years not choosing a deity cause I didn’t know who was trying to reach out to me.
I’m still relatively new to learning about her. So thank you for this.

So I have been a practicing witch for around a decade. I have not had a need for a deity for the most part, but over the last, I want to say two years her name has popped up randomly in my mind (I just brushed it off, mostly because of self-doubt). I've been feeling this pull lately to learn more about her recently, I have not been tending to my magick due to a lot of major life challenges that hit me out of nowhere. I just got hit with this urge to start utilizing my power. I decided to start researching more into Hecate today and happened across your video. When you said one of her favorite stones is Obsidian I just about lost my shit, I know a lot of people can't actually handle the energy of Obsidian, this stone has been making its way into my life over the last year and a half and I absolutely adore it (most of my jewelry is Obsidian). I also just found out my name meaning (Kalynn) is Keeper of The Keys. Thank you for this video, it has confirmed quite a bit for me.
her sacred animal being a dog also really hits a cord for me. dogs have always been here for me in my toughest times (and i’ve had long periods of time w out them too) but my dog i have now is MY first dog and i wanted her soooo bad. all i wanted was a dog, all i could think about was a dog and i worked to find her but how we wound up w one another was kinda random & she’s is PERFECT
From my personal experience she also really likes moonwater and garlic.. also do you shadow work with her!!! She really helped me open up about my childhood wich I forgot most about bc of trauma, she loves to see you grow and evolve ❤️

In the beginning of my journey I read basic information and just started practicing with my own energy. Once my daughter suggested Hecate I knew she was definitely for me but I didn't want to push. I set up an alter, instinctively choosing herbs/candle colors/ect but I read about the keys. I left it, kept renewing it, and eventually when I had practiced for about 8 months I asked for an answer if she would work with me. I left 3 blood drops on a skeleton key, an oil I bought for her, and lit a candle and walked away. The wax had completely encompassed the key. 🥰 I usually talk to her while at my working alter and I continually get stronger instincts because of it. I bought some key dust and she digs that too. 🕯🌒🌕🌘🗝💜
I was certain Lady Hekate was calling me when I had a dream where I was leaving offerings on a crossroad, called her name 3 times, and immediately after a black dog started barking and ran in front of me. From that moment on, I knew she was there with me, watching over me and waiting for me to notice her presence. I already felt it before of course, her presence is very comforting and safe. However I feel a little bad because I cannot give her a grand altar like she deserves, my family wouldn't tolerate it and would definitely question me about it. I try to give her prayers and little offerings when I can, but she deserves so much more

I started off worshipping her and i got a tarot deck for her to further connect with her and she asked me to work with her and even told me that i have all the time in the world to think about it so yeaaaah im thinking of doing it, thx for the video!!
Also for crystals, garnet preferably red, moonstone, amethyst and smoky quartz. I also find that having multiple spots for Hecate in my home helps. She has an altar in my bedroom and she also has a spot in my windowsill in my bay window. I have even made a little statue of Lady Hecate by hand and it sit in my work vehicle as I drive around so my God is always with me in some way shape or form. I hope this pleases her. How do you guys work with Hecate?
I recently purchased a garnet pendant that I wear literally every day. I have had so many signs that she is with me. I cry every time I feel her. Such a beautiful presence!

It's always so weird to have Hekate, Nyx, and Apollo. Like you said Hekate is very very picky, luckily, she connected with me when I was just beginning in witchcraft, so she was kind of like my teacher. She's very strict, but in saying that, she's so understanding? I don't know how else to explain it, but I may sometimes go weeks without using her tarot deck (my form of communication with her) because I've been overwhelmed with life, and generally haven't kept up with my own health, and she's like... "pls take care of yourself then worry about me... I need you alive to communicate with you darling"
Meanwhile, Apollo is more loud and aggressive, where I communicate with him every day because he's screaming in my head like a golden retriever
Nyx is much quieter, but like Hekate, would not recommend making her mad.
Did you know that Hekate is actually considered to be the daughter of Nyx, because Nyx, as the goddess of the night, was considered the mother of all those considered to be 'dark' deities. So I have two deities of the underworld and 'darkness', and then there's Apollo.
That is awesome! All of them are awesome deities to work with and they can teach you so much. Apollo has many playful moments with me, but yes, he can be all over the place sometimes, he is the sun god after all lol
Question: why do deities contact mortals when the majority of them can't perceive spirits? And why do deities need us alive on Earth to communicate when it's possible we will still exist as souls in the afterlife and thus be able to communicate better with entities? Doesn't seem logical for a higher entity to pass knowledge to us only for us to forget everything at death nonexistence.
Since you worshiping Hekate I just wanted to say did you know Hekate is the Triple when goddess that means she is Artemis and Selene and so that means Apollo is her twin sister and if you know Apollo and Artemis you know that they are very intertwined with each other whenever somebody mess with one of they followers they would both ride on a chariot and burn down the village of the person who messed with their follower Apollo would spread diseases and Artemis would shoot down the person Apollo's good and all until you messed with his follower that is or his sister followers
I love working with Nyx. She feels old, but also young at heart. Wants you to appreciate the dark of night to know that dark is not bad nor good. She's is super into the honor and soul of the person.
I make a point to go to dark sky areas and just lay on my back and just take it all in.
I haven't done any spell work with her, but I think Nyx is just a watcher. You do good things in the dark, you get rewarded. Bad things and she will unleash her wrath.
I was very surprised because she started to appear herself to me and I never even knew about her. I'm very respectful and careful, but super grateful at the same time.
Love your videos! I was really scared to get into witchcraft and i remember I'd sit by my window and stare out at the crossroad by my apartment at night and I'd feel a very comforting but stern presence. I had a feeling Lady Hecate was my patron, but I backed off for a little because I felt like I wasn't good enough and didn't want to anger her. I believe she waited patiently, and I now have a nice altar set up for her! I like to leave her tea and dried roses, dried rosemary and lavender. Lots of little frog trinkets as well. I've always had a strong interest in the paranormal, always felt the presence of spirits and a love for animals and people who also feel lost. I recently had a deity reading and it confirmed that she was around, I was very happy 😊 I just recently reached out to Apollo and he's very fun! I don't communicate with them every day since I do have depressive episodes where I just can't do much more than light their candle and offer stuff, but the first day I connected to Apollo he called me honeypop and it's definitely one of my favorite nicknames lol. It's a very cool older brother vibe. Always been very passionate about music, art, medicine (almost went to med school, absolutely LOVED biology)

I love Hecate a lot 💜💜💜 We have a CCTV cam set outside our house so whenever I see someone's black dog IN A VERY LATE TIME OUTSIDE ALL ALONE WITHOUT THE OWNER'S KNOWLEDGE that exits from the CCTV came view MOSTLY AFTER I LOOK AT IT DIRECTLY. Also since I live in a city during the Pandemic goddess Hecate has a lot of ways of calling my attention such as showing one of her symbols MORE THAN NORMAL on television/RUclips or sometimes even in my ps4 video games I play I KNOW IT SOUNDS WEIRD OR FUNNY TO OTHERS, but there were times that I know it's NOT A COINCIDENCE that after it shows I stop and work or connect with her, THEN I WOULD ALWAYS NOTICE MY 3RD EYE GETTING STRONGER. A pale colored woman, long hair black as a Black Labrador, sky-clad she danced around a fire.
I wanted to dance too, but I uncomfortable and she said “matters not, child. Wear what you wish.” I than followed her in dance around the fire.
I was 19 yrs of age at the time, now I be 49 and I am grateful for her choosing to work with me.
She has saved me from making major mistakes within my life and go to her before I do anything I am uncertain of.
Anubis is another deity I work with, as well as Kali Ma, Shiva, Loki, Thor, Odin, Ganesh, Papa Legba, Athena, Isis, so many I have worked with over the yrs.
I love them all and I wish I could show you what they had shown me, but they mist decide upon that, not me.

She had called to me in the start of my practice and I backed off I wasn't ready she has always been around but I have finally decided I don't wanna hide anymore. I am very connected to cemetery and I'm a paranormal investigator and she loves this side of me I feel. I just don't know how to completely connect so I'm just learning and journal and art and I pay respect to her hounds.

I have bought some books about her. Just to get to know her historical facts and background more. I also would recommend you journaling about your feelings for her and experiences. My altar helps me to keep a connection with her. She has recently popped up in a dream in the night time and showed me very clear it was time to connect again. Take your time - everybody has an own way to communicate and connect with her.
I have a dog and she always pops in to say hi when I'm doing a reading with Hekate :3 She's not that intersted in me reading when I'm doing it alone, but she'd shove her head between my arms and sniff around the cards and offerings when I do ask for guidance. This is so adorable to watch.
When I was in school, I worked for pocket money at a doggy day care. We had this beautiful rottie who’d come in, named Hecate. It meant Nothing to me at the time; I didn’t recognize the name. I just knew the dog was awesome. Fast forward until maybe 3 years ago. I now know Hecate’s name, know a little more about deities, and have done a little research. I said flat out yes.. I’m interested in meeting you and seeing if we can click, but I’m an idiot. Signs aren’t my specialty. I need foul proof, without a doubt, you’re trying to talk to me, or I’ll more than likely miss it. Well, one night I’m coming home, the dog is next to me in the car, and there’s this guy at the freeway underpass waving around a flag with Hecate’s wheel on it. I don’t think I’ve ever been so shocked or believed so quickly.
She somehow appeared everywhere to me until I realized she wanted to help me choosing a way... now I've chosen the way thanks to her and I feel she wants me to dive even more into the underground world. I feel however as if I wasn't appreciating her enough but she always try's to get me tho a hecate meditation and then we have some quite deep talks. She seems to me quite no bs but still warm hearted. Quite interesting to me.. she is quite cool but I was overwhelmed because I worked one time with a deity which was medusa. She then told me that it was time for me to move on to hecate and now I'm searching ways to be as productive and respectful as possible. At the moment I have the feeling she's quite happy that I chose the way ). Thanks for this cool video!!

Realized today that I feel she’s been trying to work with me but I was closed off to deity work… when I accepted the feeling as I was learning about her, I looked down and noticed my snake ring next to my moon ring. I was receiving signs when i was younger and i actually went to a metaphysical shop because of all the dreams and signs i was receiving. I didn't really know what was happening tbh. When i looked into her further, i realized I missed my chance. :( She kick-started my listening to my clairvoyance and impressions .. hopefully my recent life revelations can open the door again.

usually when Lady Hekate comes to send me a message she uses my parents as her "medium". and boy it's true that she's strict and you don't want her to get mad at you. There was this time that I wasn't pretty much active in my studies because i focused so much on my practice and hanging out with my witchy friends as they became my comfort zone. and she told me to stop practicing my craft and shut my connection to my friends for a while because I will not graduate if I'd not make up for my missed activities and not attend my classes but I did not listen. And there came a day that my parents came to my room and checked my cabinets (I'm a closeted witch and my parents are hardcore pastors) and they found out that I was practicing witchcraft and they took and destroyed all of my things (except for the altar for Lady Hekate I was able to hide it pretty well). And every night my parents would take my gadgets and would be able to retrieve it during the day only when I have classes or school works, so yeah HAHA!
