Honestly I think people would be fine with half hour to an hour video if you did the full album. Many fans love seeing the full reaction to each song. Also it might help your experience to look at some of the lyrics as you’re listening! Some do it but also if you like to just vibe out keep that up! Excited for part 2!

@@killerkingarrrThis is what Bob The Poppop does. He uploads around around 45 mins for an album with genius pulled up for lyrics, and will post an uncut reaction on patreon as well
The vocals on spaceship are a Marvin Gaye sample!! Late Registration is going to blow your mind with the production, he got Jon Brion to help with the arrangements and production, and it’s absolutely beautiful.
kanye west was only a producer for jayz and such before, but wanted to be a rapper but had a hard time to be signed he didnt really have that gangster image but finally got signed to roc a fella, when driving home from a long day he slept on the wheel having a near fatal crash his jaw was broken it had to be wired shut after two weeks being admitted to the hosptial he recorded "Through The Wire" with his jaw still wired shut, (he did re record the lines) his lable paid a school in nyc for the photoshoot at the gym for the album cover, ye saw the bear costume which it wasnt even supposed to be there in the first place lol, and used it the theme of the album is "make ur own decisions. Don't let society tell u, 'This is what u have to do"
I mean this album is honestly the definition of hip-hop. Yes there is singing and yes there are very melodic soul samples, but that's what made this album so amazing and such a breath of fresh air when everyone back then rapped so serious and like-a-gangster. Great reaction!
Fellow metalhead here and all i can say is that you're in for a treat going through Kanyes discography. The guy is an amazing artist. Looking forward to part 2.
after watching a handful of kanye albums reactions so far yours are my favourite. after introducing all of my friends & family to ye’s music I’ll now introduce them to your channel 😂 keep up the good work man
HELL YEAH! YEEZY SEASON!!!! Your videos are amazing and I get so happy every time I see you posted a kanye follow up video. The only problem now is that I have to wait for part 2 . 😭😭 Im gonna keep it short but these videos are really entertaining and I'm jealous that you get to listen to his discography for the first time
I want to point out the meaning of the n-word in Jesus Walks. It is meant to shock you, because the lyrical theme of the song is racism. What he says around that part is talking about the prejudices against black people in Chicago, saying that they're going to "snatch your necklace", as in, that's what people think of them.
11:18 during this and his next album he was surrounded by a lot of the soulquarians who were a hip hop/rnb collective that all collaborated with each other to create very soulful influenced hip hop albums, and they all agreed that when their collective stopped working together, kanye was the one to carry the torch of their style. So thats where a lot of his influence was at during his early career
the Album art shows a mascot which is kanye sad which isn't usual for a mascot, since mascots are more colorful, cheerful, etc. while this one isn't. Which is what he felt during his time in college and the reason he dropped out to make music.
My personal favourite track off of every Kanye album The College Dropout - Family Business Late Registration - We Major Graduation - Flashing Lights 808s & Heartbreak - Paranoid My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Devil In A New Dress (my favourite song off all time) Watch The Throne - No Church In The Wild Yeezus - Blood On The Leaves The Life Of Pablo - No More Parties In LA Ye - Ghost Town Kids See Ghosts - Reborn Jesus Is King - God Is Donda - Come To Life Vultures 1 - Burn
I'm liking these video very much! I think its worth looking at he is doing at the time of each album because there is a of background to each of his album that will help you understand why each album is a certain mood, the lyrics and why there is such a big change from The college dropout to Yeezus. Kanye has a lot of history and these album are like a piece of what was happening and his thoughts at the time.
You were asking about the bear album cover and it wasn’t as deep as it seems. Kanye and his crew were at a high school looking for an album cover and Kanye had an old bear costume his mother gave him so he put that on and they made that the pic.
The All Falls Down rating hurt me inside because it’s my favorite song off the album. It has, in my opinion, the deepest meaning off tcd. Great reaction though!
For the meaning of the album cover. The bear represents to live on your own path and do what you want to do, and to not let society carve out a path for you, Kanye often shows this himself, and expresses his feelings and thoughts outright, and hates it when society makes him out to be something he's not. The meaning of the album that Kanye wanted to portray was mainly about the education system, a criticism of what people expect to gain from school.
23:55 you’re not a live concert, you’re not on the album you’re reacting to the album so if you need to replay it again you’re reacting to it and that’s valuable footage. CANT WAIT FOR LATE REGISTRATION … subscribed just for the YE content .
Little blabber section: just so you know the reason it may not be as hip hoppy or rapy (rapy?)is because during this time it was all "ohhh im a gangsta" type of hip hop so kanye tried to be different,i think from my knowledge
The reason you think it has an RNB soul vibe is because kanye IS A PROFESSIONAL PRODUCER. He was a famour producer well before he ever became a rapper, poducing for Jay Z in the early days. He was known for his Soul Samples and unique producing. Through out the years his production has been just a big a part of his music as his lyrics are. It's always been pushing the boundaries of what hip hop is and that's why Kanye is so loved
9:13 kanye was really trying to prove at the start of his career that he can rap just as good as he can produce, as you probably heard on "last call" he had a lot of trouble getting accepted as someone who raps and not just someone who produces. So you'll see him be try to be his most lyrical for the next couple albums.
