ABOUT LUDICROUS FEED
Ludicrous Feed is a Sydney-based RUclips channel that started in 2018 after Tom purchased his Tesla Model S. He wanted to show the reality of Australian daily life with his family and an electric vehicle. The car has to make some sound when driving because it was too silent. Nobody noticed the car without sounds.
That sound is ONLY on reverse. In drive, the speaker emits a very different sound that you can barely tell is there which to my opinion, defeats the purpose of having it and the stupidity from the government requiring tesla to disable the boombox while driving, even more given the fact that after 19 mph, none of those pedestrian sounds are required by law.
On a different note, your Model 3 has the Arachnid wheels from the Model S, look very good.

Yes but it’s faint. Sounds almost like a hand drying device

@@LudicrousFeed hmm, I would hope that add it for low speeds moving forward too. Ive found people can often not notice you’re moving in parking lots as they can’t hear the car

It also activates in the forward direction under 19 mph.... annoying....

That spaceship sound is cool for reversing. I never realised the forward sound existed. They should allow for customisation in the future. I’d have the spaceship for forward as well. I’ve killed 2 birds whilst driving cos it’s too quiet. In future I will beep. 😢
There’s a fine line between safety and obnoxiousness when it comes to PWS
@@LudicrousFeed in your EV experience whilst driving in suburbia, have you ever hit birds due to the quietness of the car. In my 3 month ownership I’ve hit 2 birds. Next time I will be beeping them.

I think only the newer cars have it fitted.

Nope. Only 2023+ Model 3 have this feature built in although you can also retrofit it now to older vehicles

Speaking of retrofits. Do you know if radar sensors are an option too? The camera only sensors do kinda suck so I wouldn't mind getting radar on the model y.

@@LudicrousFeed whatever they use for parking on the Model Ys is just laggy and unresponsive when parking plus seems fairly inaccurate.
The Toyota one is way way way worse and more absurd.
