Hi Saffron OIiver, Thank you very much for such a sweet deck! I love Artisan. Well, it is not totally Artisan but very close to it. And this being, playable in Standard is awesome! I went 7-1 this morning with this deck. I beat Rogues, Kicker and other random decks. But wahooo, standard IS SO ENJOYABLE since Omnathi is gone ! Kudos, man. Keep up the good work ! Many thanks from France !
I'm so happy they functionally reprinted Accumulated Knowledge, it's one of my favorite draw spells of all time. And now I can play 8 in my Simic Chasm Skulker/Mercy Killing deck! 😁
Kroxa always felt like a very powerful, but essentially balanced threat. Strong but answerable. Uro just felt inevitable in the dumbest way, and stabilized decks on turn 3. I would almost always rather discard than have my opponent draw answers
I made this deck and played some rounds on arena. I swapped out the fissure wizards for 2 magmatic channeled and 2 heartfire immolater. The immolater has been good fir me
Rough on the land flood but for a lurrus deck 23 seems like a lot. Maybe 21 or 22 would make it feel better. The shuffler will prioritize hands with 2 lands rather than 3 when given the option for starters at 22 or less
Wow, that Rogues opponent kept shooting themselves in the foot by repeatedly killing Kroxa G1. Yeah, it stopped Kroxa beats, but it also sent Kroxa to the graveyard, thus turning on escape, thus letting Seth keep the GY pretty clean and manage Nighthawk Scavenger.
Is it that good tho ? It's a win more card, like all party BS. The deck does not really needs it ; it rely just so much into curving out each party member to have free burst damage with Malakir Blood priest and Bug-Catcher.
@@MTGGoldfish Yeah but Zagras is a genuinely good creature that becomes great to busted with 2+ party members. Meanwhile Lurrus is a 5 mana investment to replay bad goblins.
@@Geroaergaroe Yes 4/4 flying deathtouch haste that gives your creatures deathtouch and planeswalker deathtouch is that good. it's playable for 6, good at 5, great at 4 and busted at 3. It and Blood-Priest are the two Party cards that are not win-more but actually good value.
They really just need to get rid of the adventure mechanic. The banning of Lucky Clover helped but it doesn't stop them from being extremely over valued cards. Like imagine you stapled a flipped Delver onto an Into the Roil. You would play that card in every deck you could shove it into. Its also truly amazing that their are currently 8 cards banned in standard and 6 of them are from throne. Pretty sure last time that happened was during the Mirrodin block which ended so badly that the under powered standard for Kamigawa
Thanks for playing the deck! The deck was made for a format called gentry that we play here in Belgium where you can only have 15 uncommons and 4 one of rares/mythics in your 75. For those who want to join this fun budget format with weekly tournys: gentrymagic.com/
Why no Evolving Wilds to help clean up the mana base? I think if a budget deck needs help with mana fixing, Evolving Wilds should be on the list of options. You have 17 basics, so I think you can get away with cutting four of them for Evolving Wilds. That should help your mana a lot.
@@mrlescure I'd rather be a step behind the curve than not be able to cast my spells. Also more than half the manabase still enters untapped. Incidental bonus of adding an extra card to the graveyard for Kroxa to eat.
"Shredded Sails, also good at hitting Lucky Clover, which is relevant"
ACKSHUALLY

Would it have deathtouch when it deals the damage tho?
Tate Beasley yes it would
@@dubblehelix83 no it wouldnt, since the counter giving it deathtouch wouldnt exist in the graveyard
That is a tricky I guess, but...
@@drakeconsumerofsoulsandche4303 Yeah this is what I thought
That 3rd match vs adventures is a reminder to never give up because you never know!
I like at 29:00 when Seth was excited to get maximum value of Aquissitions Expert but then immediately got scared of the hand.
Seth you got the Modern UB Rogues decklist on the left!
That is a really weird mistake. I have no idea how that happened. Oops!
Everyone remember this is PRE-OMNATH BAN!!!!
Seth: If we don’t keep drawing lands we’ll be okay.
Magic Shuffler: Did somebody say more lands?
😄😆😅🤣😂
That thumbnail has some serious 80s vibes and I love it.
Malakir blood priest = party Gary?
Indeed.

Deck view on the side was for Rogues in modern, lol... Great content tho!
Such a sweet deck for such a low budget! Very awesome games.
Thanks!
This deck is so fun to play! 2/3 games I played I somehow ended up with a full party, not sure if that’s common or not...
Nice!
Hey Seth! I see you playing that Feed the Swarm!
Feeling bad about it, but playing it ;)
truly a voice for print
Wow, I didn’t know that rakdos rogues was apparently a thing. 😂
I can't say I've ever seen a victory with a mull to 4. Epic!
YAY my favorite series!
Those floods were biblical level
The Vengabus is coming!
Ok... that thumbnail is amazing. "KICK IT!"
I did not realize what it was till I saw this post lol
Yeeeeeahhhh
Mtggoldfish thumbnails are almost as good as Result Screens by the Mighty Jingles
Malakir blood priest = viashino partymancer
You keeping one landers stresses me out lol
Kroxa always felt like a very powerful, but essentially balanced threat. Strong but answerable. Uro just felt inevitable in the dumbest way, and stabilized decks on turn 3. I would almost always rather discard than have my opponent draw answers
What on earth happened at 6:10? A little Hedron creature with hearts??
That's one of the new emotes you get via the Mastery-Pass If I recall correctly
@ Ziri lan Ah, I see. Thank you very much. I don't play Arena and I'd never seen that before.
Is Shredded Sails decent enough in the sideboard even after the Clover ban?
Super sweet deck, I love the Party mechanic.
Why not heartfire immolator? It's a wizard, has prowess. you can sac it as a "shock"
I made this deck and played some rounds on arena. I swapped out the fissure wizards for 2 magmatic channeled and 2 heartfire immolater. The immolater has been good fir me
ty for this ending!! :)
Could you try this in historic? Do you get any better tools there?
That Duress into scoop XD
Didn't realize bitterblossom was in standard, and not even a rare!
Ain't no party like a Rakdos party

That is only for Bo1
This is really functional :o
For having just two rares and two mythics it works surprisingly well.
Non-budget magmatic channeled would be pretty sweet in this deck
Yeah, that's one of my upgrades too!
It's party time.
"Magic Gods don't love party, they lovestruck beast".
Got some serious lucksack opponent matchups this video, which is a shame, this deck is so sweet
When you go to a party and you become best friends with their cat.
I feel like esper party is really good
It's not. It's just not.
@@MineRoyale. isnt it though they have a really good curve and its pretty powerful plus u have linvalla which can save the board

"What did we learn about Rakdos party aggro?"
Apparently that the card draw algorithm fucking hates it.
Zagras, the ONE good Party card and the reason to go BR, is not in the BR Party deck.
Yeah, shocked he wasn't a one-of at least. You do lose lurrus though, which was big for the deck
Is it that good tho ?
It's a win more card, like all party BS. The deck does not really needs it ; it rely just so much into curving out each party member to have free burst damage with Malakir Blood priest and Bug-Catcher.
The main problem is Lurrus. We lose it as our companion if was play Zagras (although I do like Zagras a lot).
@@MTGGoldfish Yeah but Zagras is a genuinely good creature that becomes great to busted with 2+ party members. Meanwhile Lurrus is a 5 mana investment to replay bad goblins.

I read "2 Rare/2 Mythic" as a fast and furious pun bahahh
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What are these opponents doing?
Looks like about half the draft decks I pull from Zendikar

Four more tap lands in a relatively aggro deck?

It's funny, whenever I try these off the beaten path decks they perform absolutely abysmally. Almost as if Arena wasn't on the up and up.
Won on a mull to 4 against a top standard deck... of course he cast only a single vanilla 1/1 in the end. That would lose to everything.
They did cast a lot of Clovers though.
First comment, third view!
damn, 1 minute too late
Holla
I would rather have it be MARDU party tbh...
Seth, what’s a butt-catcher? Cause you keep saying that and I’m confused....
Lucky Clover no longer relevant.
*Sad Face*
Yeah, Wizard and their bannings always messing up Budget Magic ;)
Is this Magic? Been out of the game a while. This looks like shit, lol
Ouch. This was invalidated so, so fast...
Standard....again.....
