- Modern Warfare II has now been out for over a month and I wanted to do a check-in video to share my thoughts and feedback on what's still missing/broken in the game as well as just a few areas that I feel have room for improvement. What other aspects of MWII do you feel need to be improved on in its current state?

Scavenger works like 60% of the time for me. I also hate the blue dots above friendly players thru walls. I die so often because an enemy player has a blue dot above his head but its actually just my team mate across the map
I have noticed the issue with scavenger as well - annoying AF
The friendly markers giving false positives is super annoying.
Funny fact when you using different type weapon you not get ammo from enemy.
Sadly cause there are type weapons which need correctly everytime collect ammo like for example
Battle riffles,rocket launcher and more.
People complained about this in MW19, and it was oddly never a issue to me. In MW2 it happens all the tkme

These are a lot of the big ones, but there's just SO many little things that are just super frustrating. No camo pop ups when you complete a challenge, pressing back once in some submenus puts you out to the main menu, the squad leader changing playlists kicks you out of the gunsmith just to name a few. There's just so many things that feel so much worse in this games UI/UX.
The camo unlock icon - which was a gold coin looking thing - has been removed for some reason. I agree with the rest, and the social tab is busted. So is the account/network tab in the settings, I’ve tried to unblock some people and I can’t coz it keeps kicking me back to the main menu which is annoying
Tons of animations are bugged, the showcase weapons is still bugged (your weapon shows up for every player), riot shield animation is bugged for showcase weapon, lobby animations are bugged, spelling mistakes in the menus, bp tokens are bugged, footstep audio is bugged, dead silence is not dead silent, when dual wielding pistols if you prone then stand up your camera just breaks, so many more bugs in warzone, dmz, and spec ops... that's all the broken stuff ace didnt mention that I can think of.
The beta had the gold icon badge pop up for challenges but that got replaced with a green/white badge icon that when you complete a challenge it says: "weapon challenge completed". Its frustrating that the camo doesnt pop up when you complete the challenge like in prior COD's. You are stuck guessing what camo you just completed.
I'm surprised no one has talked very much about not being able to change the reticle of your optics. That was the first thing I noticed that seemed like a feature there is no reason to remove. It even fits well as a progression path requiring you to use different optics other than a red dot to match the forced diversity of using different weapons to unlock specific attachments. It just sucks that if you like the zoom level/frame of an optic, it can be ruined for you by not being able to change an undesirable reticle.

I was just talking to my friends about this last night, just got the game. Why would they take customizable reticles away? Realism? I get that, but this is still a competitive FPS video game, not a military simulator.
Man... it's the death of 1000 little cuts. I appreciate how diplomatic and productive your video is. I wish IW and RS would take this video and run with it. At a minimum, provide a timeline for fixing and improving. Great video

Perk system is trash and the SBMM is wow, CDL daily.
My biggest issue is where are custom blueprints for guns? With how complicated gunsmith is now, having to completely change out a gun’s attachments and tunings is just not possible mid-match.
Yea, that is a huge issue, you finally get a gun how you like it, then have to do it all over.
There are like 50 optics... I need custom blueprints for that alone. XD
You can't tune your gun mid match either. That's so annoying!!
I just enjoyed making weird dumb builds and you just can’t do that anymore, also I hope its not just 4 save slots per weapon, i want 10
Just let me rename them. I want to call the guns by their real names!
I hate that you can’t customize perk packages while in a game
And that you can't have more than 5 perk packages, whereas in older games you caould have up to 10
It's funny. CoD was always restrictive about what you could edit ingame. Going forward, more should be available, like camos for instance. Instead, it got even less.
I hate the limit of 5 options, its so insulting the way they want to limit players
@@birbdad1842 It helps actually counter what other players are doing and forces those players to adapt, its gonna be a great “new feature” sooner or later
I like that you can’t change it mid game. It helps counterplay a lot. There a lot of things I don’t like about the game but this is one of the few I think is actually a good idea. Just have to be prepared and have sets made beforehand
The custom blueprints part is so bizarre to me considering they’re the studio that invented gunsmith and they had it in the prequel. Was that so difficult to code?

Nobody used it. That's the reason. It isn't that "it's difficult to code", more like "why bother coding something that the majority of the population didn't use?"
Remember, you have your feelings, Activision has the hard data. You have no clue how few people used the blueprints, they do. It's pretty obvious that they just didn't include a feature that only >0.1% of players used. Not really bizarre at all.
@@DamienDarkside I'm surprised by this. I know the Cod community tends to stick to one meta gun and use it always, but I personally used it all the time. I would make 3 custom blueprints for every gun. A Warzone, hardcore, and multiplayer blueprint. That way, if I wanted to switch modes and use a gun, I could just quickly switch to the build I wanted. In addition, if I could have made the UI for this game I would incorporate it into every build access menu. You would select blueprint (if there were multiple) then attachments and if you selected a reticle there would be a preset for each type of optic you could set. Would save me a lot of time in the long run.
@@DamienDarkside That's jus flat out wrong. Everyone used it, I had at least one blueprint for every gun and multiple blueprints for guns that ranged from mobility builds, recoil control builds, and conversions.

Thx Ace. The biggest blaring issue for me is the ability to save custom builds. Its been a staple of this game, especially sonce mw 2019. And like you said, with all the additional tuning, etc its a major pain in the butt to have to rebuild all our classes
The cherry on top is not being able to use perks without a perk package, making any change to a package affect all classes with that package equipped. This is basic shit they won't fix.
@@Sir_Robin_of_Camelot the fact is they don't HAVE to be in a package! Let us select each perk individually for each class just like every other cod game since cod 4!
Idk if it’s just me but I appreciated the medals that popped up on your screen after getting kills. Obviously they show u if you got a headshot or double kills in words but I always liked the medals.
Also in the After Match Report they used to show the medals you’ve gotten in the previous game which helped a lot with camo grinding.
It was nice being able to tab over and be like "oh okay I got 13 headshots that game, nice" just from the medals

Yeah I miss the medals. I liked going in sometimes and seeing that I had 70 bloodthirsty medals, 17 merciless, 18 frenzy medals etc.

My biggest complaint is their lack of communication.
I understand that games of this size and complexity are going to have issues that will be ironed out over time, but don't leave us in the dark while they're (hopefully) being worked on. Honesty is the best policy, and letting your loyal player base know what is being worked on and why goes a long way to pacifying us while we wait for the fixes to be implemented.
And did you think they gonna check out 1mln loyal players for you specially?

You couldnt but it doesnt change the fact they must keep in the best condition and quality the game which offer to us when we bought her by our money.
We are clients we Pay for it what we want and they have to do it othervise they lose Client and money simple

I'm simply saying to acknowledge ALL of the issues they're working on (not just a select few) and a timeline for implementation if possible. That's all.
I think the pace of the game is fine, but I’m also a rifle player. I play this as though I’d play CS but with sprint- gun up, tracking corners. Catching people with their pants down cuz they want to play like this is a treyarch game. Tactical aggression I call it. I sprint where it’s needed/in very short bursts reminiscent of cod4. That’s how the game was intended to be played I feel. Loving this game over MW2019 where it seems like that was the intention, but slide canceling and what not made it weird. Love how this is more grounded and emphasizes solid FPS fundamentals.
Pro tip y’all: stop jumping around every corner. It’s a high commitment movement and you should only do it when you know exactly how many targets will be around that corner and exactly where you do it. Otherwise you get lit up by players like myself
I remember other devs from places like DE, 343 and Respawn talking about this.
Generally, how open you are with your fanbase kinda depends on how those fans generally act. DE can be very open about Warframe's updates because their fanbase is generally very chill and quite happy with whatever comes up. Even if a thing is bugged, they are willing to give DE the benefit of the doubt in fixing it. Plus, since DE is mostly independent, they can actually often afford to often divert resources in emergency cases,
But some companies like 343, DICE and Respawn have talked about how they sometimes receive death threats and major hostility for simply existing on Social Media sites. Even if they say "hey, we are fixing this", they get 100 other comments from people saying "why aren't you working on Y as well". Plus, the way the development of these games work means they can't often dedicate resources to certain issues. For example, we know that Treyarch had to drop what they were originally doing to help out Raven on Cold War. Which hurt both BO4 and Cold War's developments. So if they say "Hey, yeah, we will fix x issue", there often isn't a guarantee they could which would just end up aggravating players more.
That is why many companies often act very silent or say very little. It avoids many headaches.
@@H1Caliber Personally, I love the game, warts and all. I’m on PS5 and most of the lag/crashing issues have been resolved.
Once some of the QOL features return (saving custom blueprints, UI improvements, etc), the game will be gravy.
I'd love to see leaderboards for score, kills, wins, and game modes.

Lack of communication is the biggest issue for me. Since IW makes odd design choices I don't know if something is a bug or an intentional choice with this game. Would be great if they told us on both counts.
Even when they communicate IW just doesn’t acknowledge the question. I remember that in the beta when they said that they were going to stick with no red dot minimap all of us were a little shocked because seeing IW acknowledge something like that was rare for them. It’s not secret that from all 3 developers IW has the worst record for communication with fans

Infinity Ward have _always_ been the COD developers who are infamously bad at communication and outright trolls to the COD community. I vividly remember them treating us poorly as far back as the original MW2 (2009). They refused to acknowledge game-breaking bugs, glitches and exploits until the the community's anger reached a fever pitch -- so not much has changed. It's pretty much tradition at this point. 🤣
I would also like reticle challenges as well. It's odd not being able to customize your reticle in a COD game.
same I hate that you have to use what they give you especially on snipers since some scopes are better than others but the reticle isn't that great

You’re spot on with these. The two biggest things for me are the squad spawns and the party issues. If you’re in a party all the UI is completely unusable.
The connection issue is spot on. Sometimes I feel like am behind. I can barely react
The spawns are probably the biggest issue for me. The game seems to just prioritise spawning you near team mates without taking anything else into consideration. So it's quite common to spawn right near an enemy player.
Never happens to me. I even force the spawns to swap so I can start in an easier position if I die. How are you spawning on teammates and not the preset spawn locations?

@@saltyman5603 we must be playing 2 different games I assume because the game loves to spawn me on top of teammates regardless if enemies are there
I spawned directly behind my team mate while he was getting shot by the chopper gunner and I died instantly too and then the game crashed

Besides what was mentioned one of my biggest frustrations is that sometimes I can’t call in my kill streak. I’ll press the button mark the spot on the map I want to drop my harrier on and it’ll just stay on the tablet screen or go through but won’t actually deploy.
This is super frustrating. Nothing feels worse than not being able to use the killstreaks. Then it bugs out and forces you to stay on the tablet screen for 30 seconds, guaranteeing you die. Terrible feeling.
This has never been an issue on previous Cods, why is it an issue now?
My biggest problem in this game is the same I've had with the previous titles, which is team balance.
I don't mind too much the SBMM and matching against high skilled players, as long as the teams are well balanced, but it has never been the case.
I've already come to terms that nowadays every match plays like it's CDL Champs final, I accept it and I try to adapt. The only problem is I'm basically playing CDL in a 1v6, the enemy team is using every trick in the book to win the match, I'm trying to adapt to their playstyle and do my part to win the match while my team never seems to move more than 2 feet from where they spawned. And the worst part is, I always get the feeling that the enemy team has at least 3 or 4 players in a party, sometimes the 6 of them are! But not only I'm playing without a party, I'm literally alone trying to capture B or trying to rotate and secure spawns for next Hardpoint, it sucks and I've had enough of this!
Those players who always play in parties and always dropshot in every single gunfight should just get matched against equal parties. Why the hell are they matched against 5 guys with less than 5 seconds on the hardpoint and 1 guy who's trying everything? The matchmaking literally seems like it's trying to gift victories to those people, I don't care what people say, you can't adapt or "git gud" when it's only you against 6

The thing is the game feels unplayable solo so people party up and thus the vicious cycle continues.
My two main complaints are the spawns and the hit reg changing mid-match.

Sometimes, I see my first 4 bullets hit opponent, but then it doesn’t do the hit indicator. I then get killed by the other player. Idk if it’s hit registration or lag but it messes with flow and just unexpected :/
It's SO bad and obvious this game (I've noticed it for years but this year is next level) . It plays like this about 80 percent of my matches.
Server tick rate. It is why you see yourself pumping 4-6 bullets into someone while feeling like you die to just two bullets with the same gun.
I'd like to have an armory just to see weapons, compare stats and experiment with attachments without having to make changes in custom classes.

That "playing in the past" issue is my biggest one. Most of my deaths are dying before I even turned a corner, then on the kill cam my body is already past the corner

This. It's making the game unplayable. It's always been like this for me the last couple years but not to this extent and regularity. It's unplayable.

A thing I would like back, and was in the beta was the red kill counter at the bottom of the screen 12:21 It's a small thing, but it's nice to get an update for every kill instead of a yellow box top right, or a very non distinct medal top of the screen every 5 kills.

This change made the least sense. I guess they didn't want a copy/pasted feature from MW2019, but it worked perfectly fine and was actually quite helpful.
that past present feeling is so frustating. it feels like you get one shotted all the time and even if you get the drop on someone they just outstrafe you and instantly kill you. then i watch the kill cam and in their game i only hit them once and they turn to drop me in 100ms. idk whats causing this but its so bad it feels like getting cheated on.

It honestly feels like we paid full price (more since they increased it) for half a game. They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with that. It’s frustrating. Your points are legitimate and I feel like they should be communicating, because their clients have paid for a product/service which they are not providing completely.
I've never felt so ripped off by a game. I was very underwhelmed with BO4 and didn't enjoy it very much but it didn't feel unfinished.
MW2 feels worse than the last MW and it blows my mind that they couldn't just give us more of what we liked about that one. So many unnecessary changes and leaving out options we all expect to be there.
It’s almost like they take no pride in their work and are fine with just putting out this lack luster product. I’m sure that there are people in activision that are being over worked, but the ones calling the shots should be ashamed. If they couldn’t release the full product, tell us and be transparent.
You have to be an adult to buy the game so just treat us like adults
A lot of people are trying to justify their very expensive purchase by trying to convince themselves that this isn't that bad. No, it's bad, it's pretty bad, and it seems like everyone playing is simply just trying to cope while hoping things get better so they can go, "Ha, I knew this was a good purchase, I just had to be patient. Boy, my friends who kept telling me I got ripped off are so gonna eat their words." This habit has been on repeat every year, that at this point, there needs to be a new term created to describe this psychosis. I'm calling it, "Call of Duty Syndrome", the act of buying into a new Call of Duty every year at full price due to the fear of missing out while having unrealistic expectations that things will be different this time around when all concrete evidence points in the opposite direction, thus continuing the cycle of this delusion.

Saving your customized loadouts is a big one for this game. Especially since there is such great selection of guns, and such great combinations of attachments.
I feel like a big source of the spawn issues comes down to the map design. There are very few safe spawn points on the map apart from the original spawn at the start of the round. Almost everywhere you go during a match, you’re at risk of being shot from 3 or more common sight lines. So you’re spawned somewhere that’s momentarily safe even though there’s inevitably an enemy seconds away from seeing you. And they prioritize spawning you near the action because they think 10 seconds of downtime coming back from spawn will make you bored of the game.
Absolutely yes. It is immensely frustrating. Why the fuck would I want to spawn 5ft from an active gunfight. It is so disorientating to move forward off a spawn and be immediately engaged again. I'm not a toddler. I can find my own fights
Its actually a squad spawn system which they used in MW19 and everyone hated it then too. They spawn u near team mates instead of home base or safe spots.

I've found that sometimes on Taraq there will be one member from each team will spawn on the wrong side at the beginning of the game. It just becomes an instant death for that person if the other team realizes, or becomes a bunch of free kills if they don't.
This happened to my buddy during Prisoner Rescue and he was PISSED
When you pull up a kill streak (at least in Tier-1, not sure about core since I don't really play much core), it disables the other visual indicators such as flags and friendly players, making it real easy to then kill a friendly player (so this really only matters in Tier-1 since core doesn't have friendly fire) because they suddenly don't have tags for a second or two after you finish calling in the kill streak.
So.. realistic, and you're complaining. Quit frontin. Go back to softcore. You ain't ready. 🤡
Probably just me but after I bought a bundle from store I had a hard time finding it in the character camo and blueprints. I couldn't find anywhere what I just bought. Just a "New" sign over character or blueprint would be awesome! Your Awesome Ace! Keep up the good work!
Regarding lobbies disbanding, I've still never seen a lobby stay together either. I have, on occasion, seen a few players show up in my next match, but it was only a minority of them, and definitely didn't seem like a lobby carry over, and more just a few people getting queued and matching again at the same time.
Same for me. I miss the days of lobbies carrying over. It was fun to play a few games with and against the same players. It was fun to see each side get some wins, and I enjoyed the between-game banter. Now you have about 10 seconds to chat, and it’s mostly people cussing at each other.

I see it all the time but i usually play with 3-5 friends. But i dont think they have lasted more than 3 games in a row at most
@@TaurineBlastED That's too bad they leave. I used to have PS and always had friends online to play with, but I switched to Xbox and have played by myself since I got the game. I miss the "marathon" games we'd have while partied up.
The one thing that needs to be fixed is when you go to change/edit your loadouts in a match, it shows an entirely different loadout majority of the time. If you're in a hurry or aren't paying attention you think you are editing the loadout you want but in reality, it's a different one. I have plenty of occasions where I finish a camo challenge and want to change attachments, change guns, or change perks and I think I am editing the loadout I chose but in reality, it's an entirely different loadout so when I go back to the game the loadout never changed. It takes you out of the fight for too long when it happens.

@@Predash051 nope not true I deleted some load outs and somehow I pick a custom gun and custom named loadout it give me a created loadout no longer exists
They really should make it so the exp boost is extended if you use multiple items, i.e. if you use 2 30 minute boosts you should get an hour of boosted exp.

@@Aegis4521 anyone tested that? It'd be nice if they could show literally any communication to the player on that, especially given that they're common in the paid game pass.
They should also tie it to gameplay time and not actual time. I can't tell you how many times I use a double xp token only for my game to crash in the middle of a match.
Roach_The_Horse Bro the crashing alone almost makes me NEVER use them, & I'm not even 30 yet. The crashing is that bad. 3080, not a power issue.

The sad thing is even when you screenshot your gun loadout, it takes 6 screenshots because you can't see the tuning and attachments at the same time
I miss the old days of playing with the same lobby for as long as you wanted. Used to hop on at the same time everyday and play with and against the same group of players without having to squad up or anything. It was fun having rivalries with certain players and learning players tendencies and that cat and mouse game. People talk trash after I go negative and I wish I could come back against them next match with my "real" loadout. This was BO2, too. No dedicated servers or anything like that.
This is a big one - learning player tendencies. Now it’s a guessing game every match and just when you have a certain player or camper figured out, it’s onto the next refreshed lobby. At least we were around for the OG games, kids today man, I feel sorry for them.
I still remember playing the original MW2 when our whole lobby agreed to only use tacticals and knives. If anyone new started shooting we would all go after them until they got the message. After a while we started “smoke fight” where we all threw smoke in the middle of the map and jumped into it randomly slashing and seeing who was the last man standing. We did this for like 4 hours and the whole lobby was friended up after that.
Definitely miss that.

i completely agree with you. i remember playing MW3 a while ago (my most grinded COD) and matching up against the same players for many games in a row to the point where we recognised each other and if we see a good players, we're like "oh crap, it's him again" and we'd try so hard just to beat the best guy and learn from our mistakes. i remember grinding to rank 3000ish in sabotage in MW3 and my PSN getting recognised was the best feeling. i miss those days
Yeh, like you’re trying to get mounted kill challenges and obviously can’t be running around, and they call you a camper. Would be nice to play a round against them not trying for the challenges.

Also a bug that say you are using custom class 10 and have to scroll over to it while editing your class it will show another class in weapon slot class 3-5 and I’ve ended up editing class 5 so many times even tho I’ve clicked on class 10

I wish they would add the base version of the m13b to a 6vs6 mp challenge and the chemist blueprint unlockable in the DMZ mode.
Sorry to say, but I feel like every DLC weapon will be unlockable tgrough DMZ or Warzone 2, because they want people to buy the bundles, it's more profit for them

I run into lobbys that stick together quite frequently. The thing is: those are lobbys where our team gets absolutely obliterated. So whatever algorithm they got going there, its horrible.
That’s my main complaint, I don’t mind playing good players it’s just why is it every time their good my team is bad it’s like they take a high skilled player and put them with a bunch of duds just to even out but both people in that situation the noob and the good player hate that lobby so it literally protects no one
@@emanueltorres7025 he's talked about this before. They are actively manipulating your stats with sbmm. You win 3 matches in a row with high kd so the game rewards you by giving you teammates who it knows won't play objective and have terrible kd while the other team is a 6 stack coordinating ti win the match. It's actively manipulating you into thinking you just need to improve, thus increasing playtime.
@@emanueltorres7025 Saw one today in TDM where the top guy on the other team had 38 kills with high KD, but the rest of his team was like .58 KD and low kills and they lost. I felt bad for the guy even though he got a gunship and advanced UAV.
Joined a domination game in progress that was almost over yesterday, and the top guy on my team had 60+ kills and 14 captures but we lost because the rest of our team stunk. Sometimes the teams make no sense.
@@MarkDHall It's the same for me. i play with a group of friends, most of them are below a 1.00 KD, so slightly below average players, with one of them being at a 0.5 KD. I got about a 1.5 KD in most Cods. And we get matched with a full party of 6 people who are all on par with me or better. So I can barely handle myself in those lobbies, maybe get a vtol, but my friends get completely destroyed going 0.5 or worse. Those are the lobbys sticking together somehow. Why would anybody want to stay in that lobby? It makes no sense at all.

I think that I might be alone on this one, but I want to see gunfight come back. I liked gunfight, I even liked the tourneys. Might be on my own for this one but I'll die on this hill. I also whole heartedly agree with improving the gun range. Would like a moving dummy to practice tracking aim.

This is a minor one but I wish they would fix the way everyone in your pre game lobby is holding your gun rather than theirs and also the showcase weapon doesn’t work. My operator is always holding a basic M4.
I also want to be able to select perk packages in warzone, not the preset ones.
I think they need to do a WW2 overhaul by bringing back map voting, show red dots on the map, revert the perk system back to the classic style and make dead silence a perk, if the footsteps are currently at a 10 then tone them down to a 6, bring back the mercenary playlist from Black Ops 4, nerf bunny hopping by making it where you’re frozen in place for a couple of frames after landing to discourage the constant bunny hopping in every lobby, and lastly and most important … get rid of disbanding lobbies (unless you’re playing ranked).

Specially the missing real Hardcore mode , Skill based matchmaking and the disbanding lobbies ... all adds up to me finally leaving the game for good and get to use the time in a more productive way...
I agree with so many points from this video in particular the connectivity aspect. At times it feels like I’m actually playing the OG MW2 with the enemy sponging multiple bullets/no hit detection etc

I've noticed that in objective game modes (at least the ones I play) it doesn't take a super long time for the third and fourth perks to activate. However, in TDM it seems to take an actual eternity before the fourth perk will activate. I recently had a game of TDM on Shoot House where it took until the enemy team had 94 points before the fourth perk came online which is insane. At that point, the fourth perk is essentially worthless and I don't understand why it's even allowed to drag out for that long to begin with. I remember in the last week of the beta they drastically dropped the time it takes for all the perks to activate in-game and I really hate that they reversed that decision.
So glad you spent the time to bring up some of these problems/discretion with the game. Another thing I ran into was the Tablet glitch that essentially locks you into the animation screen and you cannot use the killstreak or move for over 25 seconds. Super annoying but I still love the game nonetheless and would love to see most of these problems fixed soon!
That is one of the most infuriating bugs of all time, it doesn't go away for the entire match, and I also get it on field upgrades. Have died many times holding my fking ipad helplessly watching someone run up and finishing move.
The same issues since 2019, they take away core features, everyone of Ace videos is just him asking for stuff we always got in the past.

All really good points (I've personally randomly spawned on top of an enemy player and had enemies spawn immediately behind me). To add to this list, I've had issues with bonus challenges where at first I'd just have to do one to get the 30k experience but it changed to doing both challenges. Ok no biggie, it makes sense for 30k experience. The issue comes down to the UI completely hiding the 2nd bonus challenge, so I can't even tell what I'm supposed to do to complete the challenge
That and the challenge list and the team list overlap occasionally
Remember during the 360 days when cod had theatre mode. You could clip videos, fly around, share clips with friends AND strangers. Why are we lacking SO MANY core features, when a game from OVER a decade ago had features on launch that we don't have today.

- The bomb in SnD takes far to long when you try to drop it while planting.
- The 1 frame per a second glitch.
- The glitch that prevents us from using our right analogue/mouse.
- The random muting of party members.

Please make a dedicated video on spawns post update, cuz man. I swear I've had the hardest time adapting to the spawn logic. I'm usually a faster paced player who pushes into the spawn but I've had those moments where I'm just like, where are they spawning? Also Ace, I love these videos. I love the passion and I love that you also give voice to the smaller group of players. I was a primarily hardcore player in MW2019, but with Tier 1, I've just given up. As for lobbies staying together, I've had a few lobbies stick together but never consistently. I had an amazing moment where my group matched with another group through 3 matches and we bonded in typical COD fashion of trashtalking to jokes, to praising each other's plays and setups
Honestly good job with this video you had a lot of good points and one small one I want to add is showing deaths in the leaderboards, I don’t remember 100% if they fixed this or not and MW 2019 but I remember for a certain while we couldn’t see deaths until the end of the match or use a special watch and I can’t tell if they’re doing that again, or if we’re just never gonna get it because we have gun screens that do the same thing as watches, but I actually want to be able to see the deaths in the menu
Yo Ace, wanted to say thanks again, not been subscribed since BLOPs2 as I've not played COD since then, but back now and great to see you're still making great content.
My biggest gripe is that the nerfs to the minimap make UAVs really important, to the point of being always one up, but the perk charging and ghost and silencer nerfs kill any kind of stealth flanking class, which I think is a staple of COD, and helps keep campers at bay.
Thank you for mentioning spawning, it really irritating for me to spawn near enemies and then i die within 2 seconds after spawning then it does feel that somehow i’m like 1 second behind everyone else cuz on my pov i get peaked instantly and i barely have time to react and then on the enemy kill cam they take time to see where i’m at and kill me. but great video
I’ve literally spawned in front of enemies, one game I spawned in and instantly got killed only to see that he was running and I spawned 5 meters in front of him

I think you've nailed most of the problems there definitely needs to be more 6v6 maps and glitching and crashing needs to be sorted I keep.get one that when I load into a game I can't turn around. You know to expect bugs in every new cod but honestly it's like they weren't even trying this time round
I've had only a couple of lobbies that didn't disband, but it's kind of funny because it seems to happen mainly after my squad loses big time in a match.
Maybe you’ve done this but I would love to see a video on best features or gameplay styles of past and current games. A kind of have games gotten better over time or swapped 1 great feature for another. Anyway love the videos

Totally agree. Unfortunately I think that ship sailed a long time ago. Especially the emblems which is a real shame because I used to love watching emblem tutorials on YT and made some really cool ones myself back on BO2.
Damn I forgot about custom emblems, used to rock a Brotherhood of Steel emblem back in Black Ops 1. Spent so long getting it juuuust right...
I loved showing my love for my favorite series at the time in BO2 but given how they can sell emblems to people (and having content they'd prefer not being made visible), we can never get this stuff again...
I guarantee half the reason it's gone is for monetization, be it selling them or filling up battlepasses with shitty tiers, the other half some game journo reeeeeing that someone made a swastika or something (Which people got banned for, anyway.)
With the ghost perk/suppressor thing: does it still get disabled if you are using one of the guns that says it has subsonic ammo? I was thinking of checking this out myself; I thought that maybe the rational behind firing your gun disabling ghost would be the supersonic crack of the bullet leaving the barrel. It could be a nice touch of realism if using subsonic rounds fixed this.
Tons of animations are bugged, the showcase weapons is still bugged (your weapon shows up for every player), riot shield animation is bugged for showcase weapon, lobby animations are bugged, spelling mistakes in the menus, bp tokens are bugged, after a match you are sent to the warzone menus, during a match it forces you to use your warzone loadouts, screen flickering, blurry images in the store, footstep audio is bugged, dead silence is not dead silent, when dual wielding pistols if you prone then stand up your camera just breaks, so many more bugs in warzone, dmz, and spec ops... that's all the broken stuff ace didnt mention that I can think of.
I'd like to see a more in depth combat record, or even the ability to view another player's combat record.
Yo Ace, you should compare the spawns in TDM to the spawns in Domination and Kill Confirmed. I've noticed that TDM has much more predictable spawns and I'm almost positive they're using a more traditional spawn system for TDM only, especially on the maps Hydrolic and Shoot House
Absolutely false tdm spawns have been absurd for firing range. You must play hella slow cause as someone who moves my friends and I laugh when tdm pops up.

There's a bug in the 3rd Person mode menu, where if you're in a party, the game thinks you're playing Warzone, and will give you that mode's loadouts to customize instead of your MP classes.
This happens in all of public match for me when playing with others

I knew this trash game was going to flop. What a waste of $60
one thing id like to see looked into is on my 15 latency, no packet loss or lag of any kind. i see blood splash out sometimes when i shoot other players in game but i get no hit marker and they take no damage and i even had a moment recently where my bullet went through someone and killed the person behind them without damaging the person in front at all. I noticed this happens considerably less when i use the amunition slot on my guns (this part could just be a coincidence though) something is definitely up with the hit detection or shooting guns in general.
The enemy marker sometimes won’t show up till it’s to late. I still haven’t mastered the different skins that are teammates or enemy. And I play a lot. Love your work new to ur channel but have become a big fan. Thx for all ur work bro!!
Im not sure if you mentioned it in the video because I just started watching it, but there is a camo glitch that wont allow you to use the dlc weapons to skip the launchers. Also once you unlock platinum you cannot progress the dlc mastery camos at all. Lots of people dealing with this on reddit.

Whatever happen to the clan system they had in this game? In MW2019 I got double XP just for being in a clan for 1hr every night, they completely removed that from this game and yeah it seems minor but why in the world do they keep dropping games with less and less content yet at the same token charge us $10 more to buy it AND change things that we never asked to have changed? it's like they're seeing how far they can push the envelope before we all just jump off the Call of Duty Titanic.
One bug that grinds my gears is the daily challenges don't register when completing with the correct criteria. This has happened to me multiple times with battle rifles, 3-5 operator headshots with a battle rifle, 3-5 operator kills with battle rifles.

Sorry you get so much flak when you’re being completely reasonable. I can’t imagine it’s easy to deal with. Don’t doubt yourself, you’re doing the right things for the community and working your ass off to do it.
If anyone disagrees with anything you said in this video then they’d be objectively wrong. If the game has all of these changes in 3-6 months it would be a genuinely great cod. I’m hoping IW unplugs their ears this year but like you said it seems like we’re getting even less communication than before.
Edit: I completely forgot there were supposed to be lobbies that don’t disband. I have a pretty large friend group and no one has had a lobby stay together. Must not apply for anyone with a kd above a 1.
No stats, no reload cancels, no blue print saves... and much much more. Feels like a major step back in many ways. One of the super annoying things is newly unlocked items not being flagged anywhere after achieving them.
Reload canceling is unrealistic.

Three more issues: 1) When I am not party host, I also can’t see my daily challenges. I will be in multiplayer, but it shows Warzone challenges. Perhaps that issue is only relegated to Tier 1 (which is what I play)? 2) I want the ability to name my weapon classes and more importantly the ability to copy and paste them to other slots. 3) In Tier 1 mode, I want to know who just killed me, as we are used to in prior hardcore modes. Of course, I’m not talking kill cams. I’m referring to the name showing up. This helps for many reasons. It can help not only understand the opposing players habits but also if you have sloppy players on your team to avoid LOL
You made a fast hands breakdown video 2 weeks ago, but 2 things I was interested in were the cluster mine and the sentry gun being improved or no noticeable changes using fast hands to throw out those streaks

Your first thought about no response from devs is par for the course with tech companies. I’ve worked at a tech company for the last 8 years, this is almost always how devs are with situations like this; they want to build/create NEW things, not go back and correct old bugs, even though that almost always is what’s needed to keep your base happy.
I manage a small team of Graphics devs...and can say this definitely holds true. They always want to move on to the sexy, cool new stuff that is flashy and fun, and they never, ever want to do the finishing work to clean up bugs, optimize, etc. Motivating them to do so is one of the hardest things I have to do tbh.
But what if the buggy stuff was never new to begin with. We’ve had menus, systems and create a class features that were perfect in previous cods. Why does this get the pass for being broken and messy for a 70 dollar game
100% agree with everything you said. One thing i would add to this list, there is no way (i think) to figure out how you supposed to unlock emblems and there is no list of emblems to unlock like there is with calling cards
Custom blueprints and also having 10 custom perk packages are a must. Swapping out weapon blueprints in custom classes that you already paired perks & equipment to compliment each other in would streamline a lot of class building (especially mid game).
The biggest change i want is for them to tone down the amount of dust and debris that is knocked into the air after explosions

Holy shit I almost forgot about this but it’s honestly a big problem. The smoke overall in this game is crazy. Smoke grenades are really useful but every item you can throw is like a mini smoke grenade. PREDATOR MISSILE SMOKE IS FUCKING INSANE AS WELL LIKE BRUH WHAT EVEN IS THAT.
And the amount of smoke that comes out of muzzles

If I got a dollar for every time I couldn't see through a random semtex's smoke but the enemy somehow could I'd be rich man.

Has anyone else had an issue in warzone where if you go to buy a custom weapon from the shop or you go pick up your load out, it changes some of the attachments or just gives you a completely different weapon? I have a Victus and an M4 and when I select it every time, it changes the sight on the victus and changes the m4 to an mp5. I don’t have an mp5 on any of my classes
You said it's just a visual bug when you switch perk packages but I'm not so sure. When I go from a class that has Quick Fix to Ghost, it doesn't update, and will still give me health on kills. I have to change something else in the class to have the perk package change. And the other way around, Ghost to Quick Fix, I'm not healing on kills after switching, and my icon in the minimap is still greyed out. Also when I switch perks, it doesn't say "your loadout will change when you respawn" like it does when you make a change for any other part of the class.
