Loved this footage. I cant believe they say he is "lazy" xD Love to see that he has flaws just like everybody else :P But still I agree, he is very talented and I´ll be rooting for him in the next Olympics ^^
i think what they meant by the naming is that she named him so that he could be humble and it serves as a reminder to him that he needs to be humble and not over-confident.
@yogistyle92 Also, at 3:00, the better way to interpret the word "显眼" is "unique" or even "peculiar" (so that catching others eyes). Though this word sometimes can be "obvious(not sneaky)", the point they wanna make here is that the coach thought XX , a lefty penholder with reverted rubber, has a unique style which catches others' attention. I am not trying to be picky. I just think there will be more fun for the audience if these tricky points can be delivered in English.
I am sorry, my computer messed up and I just lost all the software I needed to translate ( I was using virtual dub, a lot of plugins were missing), and I just don't wanna look for them again, at least not at this moment.
karlospkc89 ! Thanks the translating ! It is great feeling to understand the words of the the top players, and coaches !!! Please translate a short riport film with my favourite female table tennis player, that you will find it on youtube : Cute Liu shiwen interview !!! Thank you very much
ooh. was that Xu talking back to his coach? i thought the players are like afraid of their coaches cuz they train strictly in china. but i guess players and coaches are like friends/brothers sometimes. they argue then go back to training..
yogistyle92 Great job! I have a suggestion that it could be "It must" instead of "I have to" at 1:43. "必须 followed by a verb" is kind of slang among youngsters. It shows the confidence but not the original meaning of "必须".
7:56
Wang Liqin's like "weak abs, not like me".

At 2:04 on the background, that is some kind of most wanted poster? :D

Very interesting! Thank you so much!

@karlospkc89 Thank you....!!
It's a shame, that he lost against Zhang Jike... 4:0!! :(
In 2015! ;) He WILL be World Champion!
I say, Can you translate the reportage of Jun Mizutani?
yogistyle92 Great job! I have a suggestion that it could be "It must" instead of "I have to" at 1:43. "必须 followed by a verb" is kind of slang among youngsters. It shows the confidence but not the original meaning of "必须".
Please Karlospkc89!! traslate Zang jike, wang liqin... all reportage...
for athlete yea. you can't put normal person's standard on athlete. that extra 4kg makes a difference.
The subtitle sometimes is a little wrong
Thanks. But why do they say that he is slow. He is the fastest in the china team in my opinion... that's weird
8:14 Inorganic age!!?? LOL It means VOC free era, right? LMAO.
4:27 - 4:45 lol
all nice and well, but zhang jike is better than any chinese player and in the future noone can beat him.
