Hey AG first off awesome video! I was wondering do you plan on doing a Mixing and Mastering tutorial in the future for Maschine or are you more of a fan of exporting the stems and mixing and mastering in another daw? Right now I just do the latter because I find the work flow a little easier in something like Logic Pro X.

I'm sooooo glad you posted this. I've been scratching my head as to why NI didn't allow the performance effects to be loaded on the master track. I didn't know you could route it to another group and play it as if it were on the master. Thank you for this :D
This is a better way than how I used to achieve this. It's much simpler to route to another group and perform and place Performance FX wherever you want using clips. Good vid 👌
Thanks for the tutorial much appreciated. I break down machine like a movie script 1. Think if the group like actors casted for the role. Patterns are like the movie script. U can make all kinds things. Scenes is like a editing the movie clips together to make the final movie That's how I had to put it in my head and it clicked
good video, would like to point out a shortcut for routing performance fx, without having to actually route them manually, so long as say your group A is active "as in the last group button you pressed" you can simply hold shift and tap the performance fx button

Can you plz,plz do a video on how export on the Maschine + I have been trying to export but, can not find audio from the export in SD card after i export the audio and i do not see the export audio in the sub categories(one shot, group, inst, ect,ect.). I'm new to Native Instruments..

No sir. Clip mode makes it easier to drag and drop but not required. As long as you route the way it is in the video it doesn’t have to be in same group either. Hope this helps.
I love using performance fx like this, only problem is trying to get the fx in a DAW. I've been having to record each track separate into thr DAW because exporting doesn't work for PFX. Do you know of a faster way?
It works if you follow this video. You just have to export either Master or Group. If you want to hear it on individual sound.. you will have to mute all the other sounds in the group. Hope this helps

I can just do these same fx with plug ins on the DAW, but honestly I'd rather do it in Maschine...gives you that DJ vibe, especially with the tape stop if you scratch the record right before the stop. And this is the issue. Press this press that VS simple click on a mouse. I have all the latest NI hardware and to be honest, it’s rarely used as it should be. Over complicated and much efficient ways to achieve the same within the DAW
Sounds like Maschine is not the tool for you. Most people use it to get away from the mouse. Workflow is extremely important so if your DAW gets the job done stay with it. Thanks for watching!

It works the same way.. only difference is you will have to twist the knobs instead of using touch strip. Hope this helps

Thanks for the tutorial. However why not put the effect on the group A instead of routing it first to group C?

Good morning. So I'm assuming your beat has to be in the new clip mode as well as the group you have your effect in far as in recording.
