Greetings from Hungary! ہنگری سے سلام!
All my respect goes to these people who perform difficult and precise work in simple conditions!
From here in Europe, it is difficult to understand how foundry workers can do without any protective equipment. Work in pajamas and sandals or bare feet without injury...
It's also not clear how the quality of the steel is set?
All I saw was that they were melting all kinds of scrap iron together. Anyway, when the huge cast flywheel was turned in front of the lathe and it clicked against the steel of the machine, it sounded perfectly fine.
Obviously a different culture. Nevertheless, to my European eyes, which are used to completely automated and 'pharmacy clean' workshops, these workplaces are a bit exotic...

Your grandparents were no different then these people 50 to 60 years ago. They were doing exactly the same job these people are doing now. Also, they can improve the quality a lot if they are paid heavy amount on the product they are making. In the third world countries western products are priced heaveily knowingly so obviously they have to do anything possible to make that product with less price and if "less price" is going to be one of the main factors then these scenes will obviously come in existence.

What struck me was the casting process was so primitive but when it came to the machining there was relatively little material removed so a great credit to the foundry. These Operate at Slow Speeds and heavy Weights whereas we can increase Speed and reduce Weight also, by this Diameter of Wheel will be reduced as well. The Manufacturing of the Component will be easy this will be a Fabricated one by Steel Plate Laminations welded to each other circumferentially at periphery and Hub Bore. Over here we do not know the Material Composition and hence other properties like Strength, how we can be assured of a Safe Running Speed that the Centrifugal Forces will not Burst this. In This type Fly Wheel is Installed at the Out Shaft of Speed Reducing Gear Box which is Mill Speed. As said above if manufactured in that way, This will be Installed to Run at Motor Speed for the Same Effect and Advantage. I'm guessing they manufacture to the demands of the market. In their market, nobody's worried about the particular alloy, the surface finish, low tolerances etc. It's good enough, and may well be in service for many decades. The same part for a giant Heidelberg press in Europe would be precision made of iron or steel and easily cost hundreds of times as much, but that's a very different market.

You clearly do not understand a thing about quality controls and safety/health standards. Those "fancy" factories are not only designed to reduce costs, decrease pollution, increase product quality and productivity, these are also designed to increase the safety levels of the workers!! Life expectancy of the "talented"guys you see in this video is surely some 20 years lower than any of the "non-talented" guys working in any fancy factory in a developed country.

Definitely a job done by people with such skill and ingenuity even if with an approximate technology, the fact that astounds me the safety at work, they work continuously in sandals, in the act of transshipment of the melted crucible they did not use any protection, yet they stood there to work hard and make sure that the work runs in the best way. The finished material could be seen to have many melting holes, probably due to the fact that the crucible did not allow all the air inside the mold to escape, or to a non-perfect melting point, who knows, but the fact remains that with here rudimentary means have done something incredible. We start making objects with 3D printers.
