wow!! this is SO wonderful!! tbh i discovered blam like a month ago and i think its such a great ship! this vid captures that really really well!! great song too!
i have a theory, and it’s that only lgbtq+ people ship blam because they know what it feels like to be in the situation of being in love with your straight best friend, and can see more than the “just bro’s” thing. and if your wondering i do ship blam
I mean I am bisexual but I’ve never been in love with a best friend who’s straight so that’s not the reason for me, but I can’t speak for everyone. For me it’s more than just identifying and more about their relationship dynamic and the potential they had to be so much more. I am okay with them staying best friends, their friendship is literally gold and the best thing to happen to S4 in my opinion lmao. But I would’ve definitely preferred them dating because of the way it was written. The material was there. The Klaine breakup was the best transition to Blam forming a romantic relationship. Not necessarily the fact that Klaine broke up but just HOW they did it. I feel like the writers missed an opportunity with this storyline cause it would’ve been very interesting and sweet. And the relationship wouldn’t be toxic or problematic like Klaine was throughout the series. But yeah I had a detailed comment about what I thought about the transition and the missed opportunity but I’m way too lazy to type all of that lol. Also when you think about the fact that Sam was supposed to be bi (or gay I’m not sure, but I think bi) and was supposed to be in a relationship with Kurt in S2 but then they added Blaine and decided to go with Klaine instead it makes this so much more sad. Now it really WAS a missed opportunity. Just because he didn’t date Kurt in S2 which I’m glad he didn’t, I’m not a fan of Kurt tbh and Sam was such a baby in S2 like he was super nice, Kurt would absolutely hurt him if they dated. However they didn’t HAVE to make Sam Kurt’s love interest for him to be bi. He could’ve definitely been bi and not dated Kurt. The show could’ve gone by as it did with Sam only being in relationships with girls and then maybe have a sexuality confusion and realize that he’s not straight. They were literally in high school, most people figure out their sexualities in high school and get confused the most as teenagers. He could’ve probably even figured it out with Blaine had they written it that way. It was a perfect opportunity lol And of course then Blam could be happy and they could’ve gotten married instead of the crappy Klaine wedding we got 😤 I hate how Klaine was endgame even though it was super toxic and Kurt and Blaine were just not good together. Blam was the example of a healthy relationship we needed to see 😭 Plus the way Klaine broke up felt so final. I didn’t want them to get back together just for the sake of having them be endgame, it felt so forced. And that opinion has little to do about me not liking Klaine by the way, I just hate that they got back together for the reason I mentioned earlier.
I'm staight and I ship it. I still ship Blaine x Kurt but especially blam lately. I honestly just think they work off eachother so well, and I loved there friendship. And way they both act when they have romatic feelings for someone is cute, that in my head them together they would just be such a cute couple.
@@charlotteatouchof7154 I just never saw the chemistry there and their relationships were pretty shallow for me. Also come on this whole thing with "he sang to me about dead bird and that's when I realised that I was in love with him", it's pretty silly xD But the main reason for me I guess was that I was a fan of this show from the first episodes and I got really deep in the fandom and fanfiction. And I was a big fan of that naive little precious baby that was Kurt in the first season. I was a hardcore fan of Kinn pairing, that later became Furt and "it sucks to be you pairing, cause now they're brothers". But there was a potential there, incredible chemistry between actors and I don't know... I just wanted for those two characters to be together, to find someone who would cherish them and truly care without unneeded drama. Then they got us Kurtofsky pairing. And even if a lot of people hated that pairing, I also thought that it could've been beautiful. And interesting, because we don't see usually not "typical" gay boys. And let’s be honest, it’s much easier to be flamboyant gay guy, because everyone already knows. It’s harder to be «not typical» gay guy, and to play sport? In a team where everyone hates your guts just because you might caught a sight of their ass? No, of course we won’t give Karofsky a chance to redeem himself. We would just say that if you look like him, your only choice is to kill yourself or do one-night stands or just you know… let people use you, like Blaine used Dave in the end and be okay with that…. Like THE SH*T WAS THAT?!! Also some people shipped Kurt with Puck, or Sam, or Mike even and I was okay with that. But then we got Blaine… and he was like Rachel #2. And together with Kurt… they were like too much. They became just some typical «blond girl» duo (no offence to blond girls), who’s thing was that yeah… they were just two flamboyant, hysterical, screaming «I’m gay» twinks. And their dramas were often too shallow for me and also cheating… ergh.. I hate that. I mean maybe as a characters they were not bad, what do I know, I stopped watching the show after 2nd season more or less, but together? Nah, they needed someone in my opinion who would steady them. And who would be a second piece to their puzzle and not their identical twin. And with Blaine… I love a lot of pairings that level his gayness if that’s okay to say and make it not the most important thing about him. Cause Kurt was in love with him at first, cause «wow, another gay boy, who sings, he’s just like me». And if we’re talking about Blain and Sam… they were friends first, good friend and they had more about them that just singing and dancing… With Sebastian? I think that pairing could’ve been truly amazing, cause Sebastian was a piece of shit sometimes, but he truly admired Blaine, cared for him and would’ve support him, push forward no matter what. Come on, even with Karofsky… if the ending would’ve been different… Dave is not a bad guy and he needs someone to be there for him, to show that he also deserves love :)
@@LenaRainby I personally don’t agree with almost anything - except from the fact that Karowsky deserved to be appreciated by the fandom for his redemption - but thank you for sharing!
