Society has devolved to a point of embarrassment. I hope she sues the shit out of this museum and they're forced to put her name front and center.
Better yet. She request they remove all Harry Potter related material from the "museum" and the "museum" goes under. That's perfect justice.
Also to remember, this was because ONE person wrote a complaint. ONE.
The copyright infringement lawsuit will be massive against this "museum". Legally you cannot remove the owner of a copyrighted work without buying the copyright from the author/owner. This "museum" will be forced to either return all credit to J.K. Rowling or remove all Harry Potter memorabilia from their facility. They would also be fined for violating the copyright and effectively stealing Rowling's work. Whether you love her or hate her, you don't have the right to rob her!!

They are trying to rewrite history, first remove her name, then over time new generations will not know who she is… they can’t remove her overnight, but they can remove her over generations 😔 this is why there is backlash against lgbt communities, things like this, and trying to teach kids about drag queens and sexual acts when they are very young is all them pushing their views and not caring about the parents. Not all lgbt are like this, but everyone needs to be careful and say no to little things that could be harmful, because when one small thing is allowed they will try and add more and more 😔

It appears that the Museum intends to take Rowling's work and twist it into their own Creation that supports their own world view. This is insidious and cowardly with no respect to the author by undermining her. Their behaviour is no different to Fahrenheit 451.

The Cursed Child turned Harry and co into very different, not so fun and quirky, but very serious, characters who were the same age as I am when the series was set, between 37 and 40 years old and it was all, centred around October 31st1981 pretty much. It didn't achieve very much at all, it didn't save Lily and James, it didn't do a very good job of wiping Delphi off the map, it just sent her to Azkaban at the close, finishing with this 6 months later scene in an empty classroom where Albus was made a prefect, even after all the bother he caused with this time turner and the death, of a current student by Delphi's hand on School grounds. Wow! That surely, wouldn't come to pass in real life? so why did it happen here?

This scares the shit out of me as someone who is planning on publishing books in the future, with big dreams. The idea that this is even possible, the idea that they can remove her name from the books should scare people. She created Harry Potter, she owns the whole franchise, you can't just take that away from her because of a few tweets. Also the way the hp actors treat her is disgusting, she gave them a future, she made them famous etc, and it just shows how ungrateful they are, to the women who changed their lives. Back in the days when I was a kid, we had cancel culture, but not in the way that it is today. Because even when rock ‘n’ roll was new people were against it, and they kept burning rock ‘n’ roll records, and said it was the devils music, then in the 60s they were upset when John Lennon of the Beatles said that they were more popular than Jesus. Everyone got upset then. In 1979 just because people didn’t like this go they burned all the disco records, so cancel culture is nothing new, however, it has gone to the extreme today. It has been elevated to new height, but even back then I would still say that cancel culture needs to go to hell.

Here it is in a nutshell. Let’s say I use a song by the Rolling Stones. I become famous using the song but do not give the writers of the song credit or non at all and just leave the writer blank. Is it still theft? Dang right it is and that is exactly what this museum is doing. All that stuff in there likenesses etc are in copyright infringement by not including the mind of the creator. Disney claimed copyright over a nursery school that had Disney Characters painted on their walls without permission. So now we have a legal issue that could cost that museum.
Now go ahead call me out blah blah. Here in Essex County Ontario city of Windsor they have a women’s shelter. It is called Hiatus House and it is for abused women. Some guy identified as a women and got in. That is progress right? Wrong he beat the hell out of a legitimate women in that damn building! I absolutely agree with you. What she’s been saying can be harmful to people & the museum’s executive director had some good points about the current danger in politics, but that’s not a good reason to remove all credit for everything Rowling does in the franchise.
I thought Warner Bros bought her out or something, it makes no sense to not give her credit for her work.

They were called 'people with wombs'. We are not our organs. We are women. The article wasn't even about transgender anything. As I speak on behalf of being a 90s millennial, in which people back then in the 90s and 2000s had common sense and actually enjoyed like life, unlike nowadays.
The problem is not identifying as part of the LGBT community. The problem is forcing someone to believe in something they don’t believe in. I understand that members of the community want to feel accepted in their community. However, acceptance doesn’t come from cancel culture. It comes from promoting understanding in substitution of judgment.

Since there used to be no issue preciously with the community keeping to themselves and doing as they please. But out of nowhere within the past several years the community has turned into Nazis in which they’re using entertainment kids media to brainwash children by essentially creating “lgbt” child soldiers. As it’s like straight out of a nightmare that content being misaimed at kids such as Steven Universe and the Owl House actually exists.
