Corny is one of the few people whose podcast I listen to and don't get upset if he re-tells a story, because every time he tells it, its just as entertaining the second or third time as it is the first.
Listening to his stories, always cheers me up when I have bad day at work.

I agree, I just wish he'd lay off politics or do a different show dedicated to that type of stuff, if I'm here to listen to his wrestling knowledge which is undeniable I don't want to here about his bs opinions on politics which are always just making a caricature out of the other side, and worse its clear he knows nothing about the issues he rants about. And I'd say the same if he where a conservative.

Paul did a promo that he got so worked up he was drooling at the end- corny gave himself a nosebleed both guys are amazing.
I think Paul E would have been better than Michael Hayes on that Table for 3 with Corny and Eric.

Hayes was there because he was the company guy who knew both and could play traffic cop.
Yeah that would've been good. There's always been a grudging respect between Corny and Heyman. They don't necessarily like each other but there is respect there.
I’ll remember Paul Heyman as the booker of the golden era of SmackDown with the SD 6 Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Edge, Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio and Undertaker it sucked that Vince was so jealous and pissed that SD was better than Raw he fired Heyman and it wasn’t as good after he left
Paul Heyman was a better booker than Russo ever will be. Paul ran a wrestling promotion well with limited resources. Russo bankrupted Dixie Carter and made her lose a tv deal with Spike tv. Paul Heyman did a great job. Russo lasted a year at WCW, Paul was there a lot longer.

Wouldn't say dying, it's just not the cool thing on the market anymore which honestly, never should've been mainstream because it sorta tarnished the business as it brought in fans who think real wrestling is swearing and doing basic punches, which legit anyone in their first month of wrestling training can do.

I love both Heyman and Cornette. They both have great minds for wrestling, they both have great stories, and they both tell those stories greatly.

Jim Cornette used to say some of the funniest things about Paul during the Midnight vs. Original Midnight feud. I remember a few times in promos he would say, "Paul is a poor imitation of me. He;s got a 'Jim Cornette Joke book' in his back pocket trying to be me." That was one of his greatest lines ever! I would try to imagine where I could buy a "Jim Cornette Joke Book", just the idea of one sounded hillarious! Actually, all the wrestlers and managers that came out of Memphis were natural comedians, Jerry Lawler could make up fiunny one liners like that, too!
My favorite was "Aw shut up Paul E. Whenever you tell a story it always has a happy ending. People are glad that it's over".....XD Lmao.
It would be a massive undertaking but having a compilation of Jim's best one liners would be great!

Cornette and Paul Heyman as head bookers, and Dirty Dutch as a checks and balance tie breaker third booker along with the brain of Dusty (which has a text to speech device).and Ric Flair as the Kayfabe GM/MC and occasionally color guy, with JR at the table with Tony S. A man can dream...
If you add Vince Russo as the head writer this becomes every wrestling fan’s dream.

I just to hate him and the midnight express back in the late 80s when they work on nwa/ wcw he was a great heel manager but as i got older i started to appreciate him cause he was one of the few people in the wrestling business that was real and keep it real and told things like they where. I remember when he rip on everybody that was working on wcw and he wasn't even working for wwf but he rip everybody he is awesome

Paul Heyman has lots of bility.
That's one thing you could tell - Flair was not the one to be a booker. I mean he is on the list with Kevin Nash being head booker in WCW. Also that technically could be the first pipebomb ever in professional wrestling. Never mind the "Hulk Hogan, we comin for you N***a" one, I do really think Heyman's promo there could have pretty much been the pipebomb.

Why he hates Russo because of the attitude era, Jim has looked at ECW and AE and seen it's good at the time but what about near the end when people are injured with life threatening injuries and that the stars don't get any support and have or are fogtten once they've done what they do and it's true

Jim is great at wrestling and he should stick to that..politics not so much.
He's right about pretty much everything except gun control. He's also a bit of a hypocrite on the animal rights bullshit because he has this weird idea that it's okay to eat meat as long as you don't go out and kill it yourself. By his logic almost all farmers and anyone who works in a slaughterhouse should be vegetarians.

No not at all but that is more things people remember about Vince Russo as opposed to Jim Cornette who nobody remembers anything about other than he's the guy that cries cause his wrestling promotion was shit and he ran it out of business then he joined a real wrestling origination and was shit there also and then he got fired and no one really noticed.
I was there and there was no Jim Cornette to be found. Unless you wanted to go to a barely mediocre smokey mountain wrestling show and see a very mediocre tag team wrestle. Wonder why they went out business?
