A friend of mine also found a premature kitten. She took it home and fed it with an eye dropper. To help it develop, she carried it for over 6 weeks in her bra. Even at work. It lived but was always under size. They named it Fishbait as it looked like that at birth. She had a thumb claw and loved popcorn. She would pick up one piece at a time in her paw with her opposable thumb to eat it.

He was lucky he had the resources. I rescued a kitten I found at my college campus parking lot and rushed it to the vet who wanted to drain my savings account (this was a fairly healthy kitten) to do tests and shots and I simply couldn't afford it so he offered to euthanize or take it to the pound (to be euthanized) talk about a lost cause 😢

This was great to witness. I liked the way the other older kittens tried to contribute to the newborn kitten's care by licking him after they got over their surprise of seeing him soon after his premature birth. It was also great to see the way that you gave mummy cat time to recover, as she must have gone through an ordeal and also malnourished, and did not rush her to feed her baby immediately, which she was able to do later. The kitten is thriving and beautiful as a result of all the love and care that he received from you, other cats and kittens and last but not least, the mummy cat. Thank you so much for rescuing mummy cat and her baby and for taking excellent care of them. Live long and prosper everyone.

I think the name of the kitten should be faith, because he was born a little bit too early, the mother cat just left it in a wet spot on the road, I’m glad that he was rescued and was taken to the animal clinic to be checked out, it took him forever to recover, but he survived his journey from being a premature baby kitten to being a big boy, he has a loving new home that cares about him, it was a incredible journey for him and I watched him grow up in this video, what an incredibly strong and special boy.
