The green vegetables in the dish with bacon are not green beans, but actually garlic shoots. 蒜苔. It’s not very common outside of Asia or Asian grocery stores. Crunchy and tasty!

That green chili pepper in the fish dish is called 酱椒，marinated chili pepper, they were salty, sour and more hot than fresh or dry pepper. and when finishing the fish, put some cooked noodle in and let it soak in the juice, it is like heaven!

I remember, mum mum made this spicy chutney, it tasted delicious but I was in pain all day, could not do anything, my stomach burned and burned. Nothing worked, so was in pain all Day. I love spicy food but could not handle it. I lost my tolerance as I went on a diet for 2 years, limiting spicy food and after that, I lost my tolerance for spicy food but slowly building up my resistance. If there was no consequences, I would eat spicy food all the time. Anyway, love watching you both, can't wait to see what amazing food you try next.
