The grain and figure on the top you are stunning. Yeah those big stickers Hack me off as well. Plus a lot of the time they seem to leave an oily residue where they were once you do get them removed.
For stickers that are stubborn I lift an corner and then drip rubbing alcohol on the edge while keeping light pressure. It usually lifts easily enough. But as Corey says Naphtha works well to. I am just not allowed to store things like that in my apartment. Sounds like Mrs. Unit treated you really well for the holidays. Can't wait to see the new toys in action. That topset looks like it will do well with that shape body as most of the coolest part of the grain is within the lines. I actually thought it was miss matched until you turned it over in that one segment.

I thought about Goo Gone, but I was afraid it might stain the wood. Alcohol or naptha sounds like a better option.
@@eklypse69 Not sure about staining but I would be more worried about an oily residue that hindered finishes from the Goo Gone.
