I love the videos, the presentation, the vibe, but more than that just your overall schtick. You're funny, humble open and honest and it's really refreshing. Thanks, and please keep making videos.
it’s comments like yours that keep me making them, russell. thanks for watching and thanks even more for the incredibly kind words. i’m glad to have you among my viewers.
You somehow manage to make learning the octatrack accessible and fun. The humour somehow makes the knowledge seep into my brain more efficiently. Great stuff 👍
boy am I glad i randomly searched the 'wtf is the the slider for on the octatrack?' even tho I don't have 1. subscribing because I'm laughing and being a happy octachild.
Enjoyed the intro, thanks for doing that. Recently discovered your channel, and I enjoy the mix of humor and technical content. Thanks for exposing some of these little hidden tricks in an entertaining and accessible way.
Du er en kæmpe champ Means you are a huge champ. Love what you're doing, and how you get such an important messaged intertwined in your videos about sampling thx
Dying rn @ your jokes xD ohhhhh my god dude, small stepped incremental changes?? So slow that you wont even l notice it happening? Followed up by some seriously bad/great puns. You are a funny dude. Loving the ride. Liked and subbed.
Very nice, thanks for presentation. This thing is really endless, i'm just afraid Elektron will never make better box than Octactrak. It's simply not possible to make something better :-D
We're living in the proto-apocalypse. I had no idea slide trigs existed! And I look at that page all the time, I thought slide was portamento or something. edit: btw, be sure to leave amazon affiliate links to the gear you use in your videos if you wanna make another little revenue stream for yourself. Not just the OT but the various tripods and crap as well. That way if someone is like, "what tripod do you use for overhead shots?" you can reply, "Check the description, biotch."
a friend of mine who’s talked to elektron devs tells me the firmware is totally full, so almost certainly not. always praying to the dawless gods for a mk3 though
Yeah nobody really know what we're doing, look at those crazy two legged animals riding other animals and making crazy movements reacting to sound, they look like a mix between pinguin and plants. Anyway, as a fragment from a star, I would love to hear a Richard Hawkin sample track, gruuut. Stay beautiful comrade octodaddy, el pueblo te defiende.
Ooooooor….. one could simply read the manual…. In the case of elektron preferably multiple times through. Run to your local kinkos staples ups store office supply store and have that shot printed. You could even get it bounce with a super hip swirly Mcthingy shit while your there and you got your credit card out have them though on some fancy vellum on that bad boy…. You’ll be happy you did.
man i’m gonna keep it real with you. i’m making videos to make jokes and maybe sometimes educate people in the meantime. if you want the swiftest delivery of information i’d recommend getting off youtube and cracking the manual
@@AtTheTableGames So you're saying your primary objective in every video is to make jokes? Then the title should reflect that instead of neat tricks the octatrack can do, if, as you say, that's the focus. I don't mean to bite your ear off here but I do think there is value to be learned from seeing how other people utilize the octatrack, something the manual doesn't really demonstrate - and the techniques you do are good! I do believe letting the jokes come naturally would really make the world of difference.
my primary objective is to have fun making a video, which often means joking, sure. i’ll be the first to admit my earliest videos are rambly and bloated; i’d recommend checking out some of my more recent work for more concise videos, but i’m probably just not the creator for you. which is fine! i’d recommend EZBOT for short and to the point tips, he’s smarter and more handsome than me anyway 🙏🏻
there are a bunch of other boring Octatrack tutorials out there. You are probably better with those, but some people actually prefer lighter, funnier tutorials. I do.
escaping stasis ROCKS !! GO LISTEN ON SPOTIFY

+1 Came for the facts.Stayed for the schtick...and the facts...
18:31 is one of the best dances i've seen on the internet.

Great stuff 👍
This is a very helpfull trick in deed. It will help a lot for programming transitions in the arranger. Thanks for sharing!
I 2nd this notion. I'm 45 years young and i havent a clue. Great work on the channel :)
Legit groove. Thanks for the slide thing. New to me. I’m going to melt faces with it and blame you.
Why am I just learning about this in 2021!

Nice work Messy Desk!
Best Octatrack person out there! Your humour is exactly what makes this thing a lot easier to learn!
I like your presentation style, humor and knowledge of the Octotrack. Thanks for your honest intro also.
Great words of wisdom, thanks as it was very timely
Wow. Amazing vid. Thank you
What a sweet fellow. First channel view. Intrigued. Subscribed. Beaming positivity back at you. Pew pew.
Very useful info indeed.
Thank you for this man. Truly. 🙏💙
Don't even have an octatrack but I stay for the initiation on the Octacult
I subscribed. Good advice and helpful tutorial. Keep up the good work!
You’re cool man. Keep it up! Also, loved the tune 🙏
I'm not sure what was more entertaining in this clip: Octafacts or Hairfacts? Love your videos though :)
You could do a top 5 things people so the hard way on OT. Eg, Monitoring input with through track via just using mixer.
If I keep gaining knowledge at this rate, I'll unlock 100% of my brain capacity like Scar Jo from that dumb action movie
HUUKI NO THEY’LL TURN YOU INTO A USB DRIVE
Octodad telling everyone using closed captions to seek help and go to the hospital XD.
Keep these great video coming!
Own it. Just love the octa-dead name. :))

DARK MENTIONED!!!!
Just curious, what’s ur method for tracking out from the Octatrack? Do you track out individually or just do a 2 track master out?
Dying rn @ your jokes xD ohhhhh my god dude, small stepped incremental changes?? So slow that you wont even l notice it happening? Followed up by some seriously bad/great puns.
You are a funny dude. Loving the ride.

I'm out of comments today, but here's one for engagement purposes. Have a good'un.
I see your words… because I turned the captions on :(
❤️
I thought I knew my Octatrack.. (Rockbiter voice)
This is basically a slew function.
4:01 Focus, bro. You just need some focus in life.

Too much joking and attempted humor, would much appreciate you getting to the point sooner

this is far to annoying very american humour is good but trying to be funny every 1 second is like having my teeth removed with out an anaesthetic
