Andreas gave very good quality advice, I think he is a great teacher if he wants to teach. All the points he said seams very useful and helpful. And you 2 are both so handsome. Both of you are my favourite musicians, your performances are not only the pleasure of ears but also eyes 😍

I mean, he better give some good and helpful advice... He's only the Principal Clarinetist of the Berlin Phil, one of the most prestigious orchestras in the world.

    Hey Ray,
I just wanted to thank you for making my day better just by being yourself and uploading these videos. I struggled a lot while practicing today, I spent two hours on four bars and didn't improve a bit. I always get really depressed after practice sessions like this one, but you always manage to make me smile, want to work harder on my playing and after watching you talking or even just listening to your playing puts me in an upbeat mood again. Thanks for reaching out to so many musicians. I wish you all the best

I don't play any of the featured instruments so far, but i really like listening to what professionals have to say. I think it's good for learning how to listen to other instruments, what makes the playing good, and what kinds of things we should be thinking about when learning a piece.

Ray, how the heck did you get the mad skillz in streaming? The camera switching while you're talking. Adding in video conferencing, screen sharing the videos. You've found your second calling.

Thanks, Ray, as a violinist, I enjoy and cherish every moment of your streaming. Words can’t express my appreciation

Speaking of clarinets....How do you feel about recorders Ray? Because after they roasted Two Set they've begun to feel their power. No one is safe.

Had Andreas Ottensaumer been born, say, 230 years earlier I think it likely that his 'friend' Wolfgang would have composed the 2nd Clarinet Concerto for him!

Andy’s comments to the students were really disappointing. So vague and nonspecific, without anything constructive to contribute. His reaction during the video showed he wasn’t paying attention either. Such a shame. I’m a clarinetist as well and had been a fan of Andy until now.
