Hi, your channel is wonderful, as I'm on vacation, in the last three days, I watched all your videos. But unfortunately with them I discovered that it is not a hobby that I can afford, however I will stay here and I will continue watching your progress. Congratulations
Livestock is next level. You guys do a brilliant job 👍. Hope I can make up there next year and meet you all. Thank you for watching and commenting mate .
Hi mate no soz can't make it ,,I'll be there in spirit ,,,I'll give ya a tap on the shoulder, lol , ill watch your vid so it will be just like being there, hope Reef King is doing OK,,,keep em coming, 👍
Tanks looking great. Nice touch from Nessies putting that carbon in the bag also....and the packaging WOW👍. Hope the new fish is feeding well. Great specimen, beautiful colours.
He's settled in well and finding his part of the reef to live peacefully 😂. Highly recommend Nessie's for fish - flawless service from start to finish. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍
Absolute joke the fuel crisis! Government need to get a grip of this, but again too late and the pumps are empty 😢I will try and capture it on video for your mate 👍 take care.
Awesome mate! Love the Zoas, Ocean Blue is spot on! 👌 Had a normal Brown Scooter Blenny years ago great little fish, the Ruby Red has to be my favourite fish! Next tank will have a refugium to help support some of these cool little guys! Great video mate! 👍
Yeah, couldn't agree more mate about Ocean Blue Corals - best place I've found for Zoa's. A refugium will work well.with these fish as they do require some heavy feeding, just to ensure they get enough! Thank you for commenting. I appreciate you support of the channel in the 1st year. 👍
He's a right chubby specimen 😂. Absolutely amazing nano fish, I want another like you now, a female 😂. Nessie's Lair is 1st class for fish. How are your two? Are you going to Krakna mate?
Brilliant video mate, the new zoas look great! As for the scooter blenny it looks amazing! Credit to your mrs for unboxing and filming that part! She done a great job! The fish looks super healthy and such a great addition to your tank, Jamie at Nessies Lair really does know his stuff and I strongly believe some of the best quality, healthiest and fair priced fish out there! Looking forward to next weekend! See you at Krakna! 🥳
Incredible LFS for fish. You can see Jamie's passion through the health of the fish he is sending out. The fish adds so much colour and interest to the existing reef. My favourite place for fish now! Nessie's Lair - thank you. Can't wait for our catch-up at Krakna next Saturday. ✨👍
@@jaysrealreefuk definitely on the list for future purchases. I’m afraid not mate, I’m working all weekend just got a new job. Gutted but there is always next time
Haha....lochy is much more appropriate, but not sure I could convince the missus 😂. You should definitely get one, once the rock has matured. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍
Tanks looking great mate. What a journey you have been on over the last year Would love to get somewhere near the success you have had Great video mate and stay safe
Too kind mate. I think it's abit of beginners luck to be honest 🤣. I've always researched thoroughly before doing anything and always sat out the problems. Red Sea Max Nano is a great little tank. Thank you for watching and commenting. 😊
Thank you mate...means alot when you say that. 😊 Got the Max Nano because of your videos. He's a brilliant little nano fish adding colour and boat loads of character. Looking forward to seeing your update - hope all is well mate? Are you going to Krakna. Thanks for the comment.
@@jaysrealreefuk all Good ! Am planning to go but also have tickets for the football on the Saturday so may need to move my visit to Sunday… you going both days?
I'm only planning to be there on the Saturday. Hopefully, get to see you 🤞. I used to watch football on Saturday, but it's Derby and I need cheering up now 😂
Great vid as always Jay. Liking the new Zoas and love the new fish!! Your sand is so white!! Glad you are happy with the service from nessies, i always have been. Fair shout to your good lady for sorting the fish out. Where was her commentary tho!!?? Keep the vids comming bud.
Haha....she was scared to do the commentary 🤣. She's incredible, otherwise he would of been in the box for another six hours. He was definitely the right choice in the end for a nank fish - just need to keep him feeding 🙏. Are you going to Krakna mate? Thanks for the watch and comment as always - legend.
Great video and choice of fish watching all your vids and have picked up some tips my new tank will be up and running in December it’s been a few years since my last tank worried about the early/ ugly stage hope mine goes as well as yours 👍
Nothing more exciting than starting a new reef. Every tank has its own story to tell. Unfortunately, I think the ugly stage is unavoidable, but ride it out with a strong clean up crew and beneficial bacteria. I've had a few issues, but nothing major - beginners luck 😂🤣. Thank you for watching the channel and commenting.
Great video Jay. I had my scooter blenny for about three and a half years until it finally passed away this year. One of my favourite fish, the only issue I had was the amount of food I had to feed it was causing high nitrates so I would keep a close eye on your nitrate and phosphate levels. My nitrate used to be around 50 and even dosing aquaforest nitraphos minus I was still struggling to get my nitrates down. Since the fish passed away I’m feeding a lot less and my nitrate has gone to 2. If you want to give it some live copepods there’s a company called Reefphyto that do really good copepod packs. Looking forward to the next update. Cheers.
So sorry to hear about your scooter blenny, but 3 years old seems like a good age? I am worried about the food that he just let's pass him by 😂. Currently I'm monitoring nitrates and phosphates every 3 days. My bioload and feeding have both increased. Next video will be a vlog from Krakna 2021. Should be a good one. Thank you for commenting. 😊👍
Great video mate, fish looks fantastic, not sure a agree on your definition of ‘expert’ though, you seem to come across in the video as saying that expert means having a tank that is mature, I know you probably agree there is more to it but for a beginner seeing that could come away with the wrong idea.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Hopefully, not. There is a key element I feel, but I do outline the difficulty in getting them to feed. The only reason I bought mine is that Nessie's Lair got mine feeding on small bits of frozen first. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. 👍
I wanted one of these for years I finally got one 3 weeks ago and it jumped straight through mesh on jump guard on second day I’m still gutted, hope you have better luck mate
Sorry to hear that mate, they are beautiful fish. Mine has tried to jump out every night so far! The DD lid is holding up so far 🙏🤞Keep you posted how I get on. I do worry every night.
@@jaysrealreefuk I have a 20 gallon Water box cube that is nearly 5 months old, hopefully I am out of the (ultra) ugly phase now. I have 5 spots of coraline on my rock work :-). I like your enthusiasm Jay.
Unfortunately, the clowns bullied it one day when I was out at work by ripping it's fins off before I could get home.to rescue it 😥.This hobby can be very cruel at times. It's the only animal I've lost, since starting the hobby. Absolutely gutted 😥. They are one of my favourite fish as well. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.
I didn't get a choice on the name - missus called it as it came out of the poly box 😂. Awesome little fish, but would love to pair it with a female now. 🤔 Thank you for watching and commenting 👍
Nothing more exciting then receiving a new fish for your aquarium, you can hear the excitement in jays voice 🤣, (we all love a delivery)
