Hey Nathan! I hope you see this and can respond. I've recently started my career in digital marketing and have been focusing on the local business niche, where I'm doing quite well. However, I want to expand my skills and transition into the eCommerce space. The challenge I’m facing is that I don’t have the budget to experiment with ads in the eCommerce sector. Is it possible to learn effectively by observing and implementing strategies with minimal investment? Would your videos be helpful in this regard? Also, I’ve noticed that agencies often hesitate to hire without prior experience managing budgets, which leaves me feeling stuck. Any advice on how to break through this hurdle would mean a lot!
Hey mate. Yes videos will be helpful, but you will learn the most by actually running ads for eCom or finding a coach that is working with the type of brands you want to work with and getting them to mentor you and tell you whats working so you're prepared. You generally will need Ecom experience since brands won't want to give you their ad account without it. Ecom is generally harder than local biz and most ecom stores get all the traffic from paid ads, unlike local biz, so it's much more important to them. I would recommend either starting your own ecom store (dropshipping or digital product) to learn the skills yourself and use that store as your case study, or find a brand that only does organic and offer to do their paid ads for free or very little retainer. Honestly though, i think making your own store work will teach you more than anything else about ecom, since its a lot deeper than local biz ads.
When you review performance after a few days, how do you see which combo worked the best ? Because for a cbo it doesn’t show the actually video ad that performed the best even if dct is on when you go to the dct breakdown it doesn’t show
You can click preview on the ad, and then click see post on Facebook. This will show you the winning variation. It will be obvious because there will be a few comments on that ad too. Another way is just to go to your business notifications and look at the likes + comments and see which post it is. You should be able to see the images in the breakdown section too, but there's a bug right now on some accounts where it doesn't show which is annoying.
@ ya I always thought the one with the most likes and comments was the winner as well, appreciate you bro I’ll also check the video preview as well. tuned into the channel brother 🙏

I have videos explaining how my product helps with acne and blackheads but it keeps getting rejected, how do I fix this
You can't make direct claims about a health product usually, so I would tone down the messaging a bit and see if it gets approved.
I’m here because my FB vid ad got rejected, didn’t know FB had strict policy on “body positivity” smh.
Yeah it's been a thing for a couple years so you need to be careful when working on ads in beauty or weight loss now.
