- A Northward Barrie-Bound GO Train with a new cab control cal stops a GO bus at the double rail crossing in Holland Landing. The further away crossing is a private home-owner's driveway. Would be neat to have a rail crossing in your driveway!
0:34 Love the horn!
Good catch! I love the fact that the operator waves around the 0:37 mark!
0:36 the Conductor waved to the bus driver
Oh yea
Finally! A video of the new cab car's horn! Thank you train for stopping bus, LOL. Born sounds like the horn from AMT Montreal.
I have a few videos of the new cab cars horns on my channel from the last month or 2! :)
Good on the bus for stopping like a good driver
you bet!!
That's just ironically sad
I love how that private drive actually has barriers for the cars. must have been kinda expensive. Nice video btw.

Jeez those horns need a tune up
Cool catch! The cabcars are ugly, and have terrible horns! Sounder Transit, in Washington has a few now
While it is hilarious to see GO use one of their own trains to stop one of their buses, I don't wanna have to listen to those new horns, seeing as it's scaring me into thinking they'll replace the old cabs (200 through 241) and i'll never hear their horns again. It was a pasttime of mine to watch Tri-Rail, who had those same horns I loved on their cab cars, and then they bought Hyundai Rotem cars instead of Gen III Bombardiers, meaning I won't hear the old horns as much, and now they're pulling GO down too (at least GO's new cars are still Bombardiers).
K wonder how pissed everyone was on the go bus XD also another southern ontario rail fan right here
GO train, STOP bus
that's one great catch that's so cool nice catch southern!
I appreciate that! thanks!
Heh the train driver waved to the bus driver 0:36

railroad crossing in your driveway!
hey who own's BCRY right now and a phone number of the owner
+Alex Westfall BCRY is owned by the city of Barrie but it's operated by CanDo railroad. I don't know a 'number' you're talking about.
Ok thx u
Are they hiring?
+Alex Westfall nope its a real small operation. haven't seen them hiring since I started looking 5 years ago. try the OBRY which is also CanDo operated. I've seen them have positions open recently
Tats the weakest train I have ever heard!
Those new cabcar things are sooooooooo ugly 😖😖😖😖😖
0:34 🚂
U want go train mr. Train Guy
If you watched how hard the bus driver stopped it looked like he was going to blow the crossing without stopping as required by law until the lights came on.
ron johnston Actually, the law only requires a transit bus to stop at an uncontrolled crossing (no arm or lights). It is however GO Transit policy to stop at all crossings.
Having driven this route, the visibility down track is limited at that crossing due to trees on the private lot. When you stop 5M back from the tracks (as is the procedure), you can't see what is coming. You can see the lights aren't flashing at the start of the video, but start just as the bus appears. The driver had already stopped, opened and closed the door and was starting again when the signal started. Technically the driver should have committed to the crossing at that point, but chose to stop as he hadn't yet entered the crossing (though he had to back up to clear the arm).
those new cab cars are just ugly...
I don't like the new cabs or the new colour of the go trains
Joshua Lepp agreed. ugly.
