Thanks for all your comments! Because many can't believe to fly this way. This is not just REACTING to the movement of the plane - this would go very wrong - but acting and 'knowing' how the plane will move and reacting fast enough to the actual movement. It's a practice thing as in every other 'sport' or whatever :-) g load in the looping is estimated to be in the 40-50g range. Some more on the harder patterns. Mathias, the guy who filmed this is an abolute pro. Same thing, practicing a lot ... @Mathias: many guys are asking about the camera model used.
Say those loops take 1 second and the plane is going 300 km/h = 83 m/s. So loop circumference = 83 m, radius 13.3 m. Centripetal acceleration = v^2 / r = 83^2 / 13.3 =~ 523 m/s^2. 1 g = 9.8 m/s^2 so the constant acceleration is about 53 g. Instantaneous accelerations would be higher.
@@acrabb support this estimation, would have calculated quite the same :-) Mayby a bit less because speed decreases during looping. On the other side, a 120 degree turn out of full speed flight will most probably be beyond the 50g area - as you stated.
sometimes i just wonder, why does everyone so obsessed with flying it ultra fast. A slow fly over will still be an amazing feeling, atleast to me. But otherwise, amazing. Loved it. Great Camera work too.
Having flown F5D for many years including the F5D world Champs in the USA. This video makes me both 1. Want to fly F5D again and 2. Realise I am too old as my reactions are now getting too slow. Boy that is a good watch and great bit of flying to keep up.
This is real and real time footage, belief it or not. If it is/was fake it would be debunked anyways in some time. I fly this way. I think, that it looks a little bit more extreme on this video than with my own eys. However, I'm veeeery focused when flying this.
That gigantic controller is giving me Garth Algar's Taser... Actually the whole thing from the amazing talented flying to the way he unassumingly walked up is giving me Garth vibes... "excuse me"... " I like to fly"
Oh my goodness! G factor and loads? Spars and Longitudinal strength outstanding! And what kind of motor! Power to Weight ratio.. incredible! The need for speed
.@RC MEDIA WORLD Brutal? Add "insane" to the title as well! Geeze..! How did Franz even keep his eye on it? I used to race Q500 with a K&B 6.5cc back when I was a teen in the early 80's and it took all I had to maintain control over that "behemoth slow poke". This guy is obviously sharper than a tack! Incredible. Thanks for uploading!
Awesomely well done, my three year old got a kick out of the sound alone, very nice flying, reminds me of my 1/2 A glow planes, but they we're no where near that fast !!
Good grief! Like most RC modellers, I've done a little bit of carbon-composite construction over the years, so I have absolutely no trouble accepting the model's lightness and immense strength, but I'm surprised that the servos could handle the flight loads. And I'm surprised the pilot could keep up with it. And I'm ESPECIALLY surprised that the cameraman was able to hold it in shot. What a hero! Chasing a pylon-racer isn't too tricky because you know where it's heading, but this little beast was all over the place... Tremendous video. Thanks!
Cameramen is kind of a pro, this is his hobby, he practised a loooot, so did I, the pilot. Small airframes are specifically more durable than bigger ones, however I also was suprised that it could take these massive g-forces. Servo loads are not the problem, all the linkages are made in a way to use all servo travel available (in speed flight a bit less, 100% for landing) this reduces loads to absolute minimum achievable at this speed level.
That cameraman is out of this world!!!
Trank You.
Cameraman has bionic vision.
You beat me to that comment.
Damn man,I felt like a cat watching a laser beam! Stupid fast...
Outlawflyer78 no shit! I thought the same!
That's really good camera work too
Thank you.
I can't understand how the camera person was tracking that tiny black spot with such accuracy. Bloody amazing!
This person could watch a dbz fight with those camera skills
Thanks for all your comments!

Franz D sehr gute Arbeit
Franz D starke Nummer.
The camera work, the piloting skills and the aircraft build are just incredible. Hats off the builder, the pilot and the camera person!
Needs some onboard telemetry to find what sort of G loads that thing is pulling, wow 0_0

maximum G load: YES
you guys are the reason I got a B+ in calculus 4 🤣🤣🤣
@@acrabb I like your maths , so that's a wing loading of around 50kg equivalent ( higher at peak forces obviously)
That's a hell of a camera man right there
Looks like about a 100 G's or more in some of those turns.
80ish max, but 50+ G's regularly.
50 is still a duck ton. Faster planes have broken 150+ G's
@@chasew3947 - Amazing, thanks for that.

Soaring gliders ... at the beach. Check it out.
Maby because you’re slow? Idk
@@09hahug I got your point brother. You like it fast 👍
Maybe am into RC for a reason different than yours. Have a nice time brother.
It was a joke dude
@@09hahug No worries there. Cheers.
Holy crap that thing is insanely maneuverable! I would imagine it is hard to keep an eye on at those speeds!
How on earth did it keep its wings on and/or in one piece?
Incredible flying and camera work.
auscurrymaster two words “carbon fiber”
I asked that myself its up to 50G they said
@@_namenloses_4593 yes carbon fiber and its made quite strong, heavy kevlar and carbon combination
Wow! That is next level, both the pilot and the cameraman!
Der Pilot ist schon wirklich klasse😱, aber der Kameramann is' ne Wucht 💪..... Respekt👏 mein Lieber
Dank Dir.
Ja des is echt a Meisterleistung dieses geile teil im Bild zu halten! Mega dieses Modell vor allem dieser Sound

Hahahahaha holy crap! That's just great! Thankyou for filming this.
I think it went into another universe and came back through a worm hole. Ludicrous speed !
Unglaublich, der Pilot und der Kameramann!
Right, that's unbreakable..
Crazy fast
Mad props to the pilot and especially the camera person for keeping it in frame!!!!
That Doppler shift though!
Holy mother of God! Looks and sounds both terrific and terrifying.

Klasse dieser sound 👍👍👍
What a master pilot, guys clearly done that a time or two!
I felt dizzy watching it :), my utmost respect to the pilot. I'm amazed at how resilient materials can be. Greetings from Bavaria, Germany!

Give this cameraman a platinum medal asap he is crazysharp tracking this Bullitt
