Most men I meet are so insecure that they need you to chase, otherwise they immediately become disheartend and pull away all hurt and sulkingky. It's really annoying..

I have a young man pursuing me and has asked to become physical several times. But I hesitate to move in that direction too quickly because of what you say in the video. Because I value myself and my heart and my body and I don’t give sex away that easily or freely. I do worry sometimes that he will lose interest and stop pursuing. But I have to be true to myself and wait for if and when it “feels right.” 😊

Bc even the men who want a low body count want to be AMONG the body count. Men leaving you or being upset with your standards is the reality and it’s one you’ll have to face and accept. Last year I met someone I thought seems like a proper man. Yet early at a dating stage he leaned back, which I took as him being busy with work & his daughter. So I took over in terms of dates planning, I was disappointed because that's not how I imagined it, and Ive never done that for anyone before, was on the verge of communicating it but didn't want to come across as petty. A couple months later I heard from him that I should back off and let him be a man, and I couldnt be upset either with him or myself but I felt that was unjust since no one was preventing him from being a man- he could have done more, had he wished to. Now, a year on, Ive seen some more of silly behaviours on the part of men, and wholeheartedly I can say now I wouldn't care about how I'd come across if I was to express my disappointment. They don't care about us, why should we care about them...

Hey Fareen thank you so much for your content. I am reflecting on my past life and past relationships. I was taught to devalue myself and hate myself throughout my life, and therefore in dating I always got with men that treat me poorly and it was my own doing. I hope by watching more of these contents, I would learn to value myself. It's tough.
A while ago i met a guy, went on a couple of dates, 3th date we went on a day trip in the evening ate at tis house, after that he dimmed the lights, candles on and he tried to kiss me, made me feel very uncomfortable so I said i didn't want that! He got mad and said i hurted his ego or something, i ended the dates

This is literally what happened to me As my engagement fell apart. But he did have an avoidant personality after our first disagreement. Now I’ve finally cut off and now he misses me. But I feel it’s too late cause now I don’t like him nor who I become when I’m with him.

Thank you for this lovely video Fareen. However, I had to ask this. Is it okay that I flew in to meet him for the first time? He was going through a rough financial period and really wanted to meet once. However, I've pulled back since then. I always let him text first and have his space. I do not initiate calls much either. Did I ruin things by going to him first instead of letting him find his way to me? He told me he appreciated it and will fly out later this year to see me a second time. How can I improve the situation if I made a bad move.
