Whitehall Primary - fit for another century

Whitehall Primary School has been at the centre of community
life in this area of east Bristol for over 100 years.During 2016 and 2017, Skanska refurbished classrooms,
restored an Edwardian sports pavilion and constructed an extension at the
school. The school now has brighter, more modern learning spaces, areas for
specialist learning as well as an increased capacity, allowing it to accept
more children.We worked in close collaboration with Bristol City Council,
the Local Education Partnership (LEP), the local community and the school
themselves. The result is facilities which bring benefits to both the school
and the wider community. This short film shows how we did it.
