I forgot about the benches I remember before year 6 we’d be staring at the row behind us or trying to find where they all were. The alien crisps were all I ate at the disco I was obsessed with them. They stopped pen licenses when I got my handwriting good. We’d spend half the time we were supposed to be working flipping the yes no rubber or poking holes in it. I used to hear the headmasters deep voice belting out the song in star of the week assembly it would catch me off guard every time and I’d have to bite my lip to stop myself from laughing. This song brings back memories I actually forgot this we had this song. We also sang I haven’t had an egg since Easter and now it’s half past three
Meh i don't ride a bus to school but i know at assembly the Year 6's have to sit at the back in the benches and i wish i was like them but their work is so hard and i'm going to Year 3 at September.
@@YT.GoofballOtherlinkHope you're doing good in yr3.Treasure the memories you make in their, because once they're gone, you'll miss them like crazy, Enjoy the rest of your years in Primary School :)
Enjoy secondary, these will be some of the best years of your life. I miss it, im in university now. Really take advantage of the opportunities you are given! My youngest sister started secondary last month too, and I told her the same thing. This is the point where you figure out what you enjoy learning, before you start your A levels in college, then university if you want :^). Personally I learned that I loved art and computer science / IT, now im studying Games Design full time!
i left primary 2 years ago i feel so nostalgic in year 8 going on 9 lol in reception i ran back to the class with all of the people ran off we all got time out 😂
I was sad because most people got pen licences and my handwriting was crap but in year six we had to use pen and know my handwriting improve but not my spelllings
The pride of that moment when I got my pen license my handwriting went tiny so my teacher took it off me and when she was reading the class book at the end of the school day I’d take a pen and beg it off her on a whiteboard 🤣
Someone please help me identify this primary school song I can only remember these 2 lyrics it went “he stepped down to create us” and “he came forth” please help me
In my primary school, we don't get ACTUAL pen liscenses, instead it's just a blue ink pen (its the liscense lol) Also EVERY BOY in the class (and me lol) drew the cool s everywhere, even on the table
THE SONG ASWELL IS SO NOSTALGIC AHHHHHH

IM A- SPRING CHICKEN! Brought me so much nostalgia
Who remembers
I’m A Dingle Dangle Scarecrow
or is it just me :(
The song we use to sing at Easter it’s really hits different after 8 years -
THE YES AND NO RUBBER 😭😭😭😭😭 and that’s our fav song
Even if a non-religious school we sung hymns and prayed, but we kept one eye open to see if our neighbour was praying
I’m a spring chicken is one of the most nostalgic and best song to vibe to in assembly ✨✨
Tim: “Does Johnny have a crush” 😏
Eraser: “Yes” 🥱
Johnny: “NO NO NO FLIP IT AGAIN IT MUST BE WRONG” 😰
I just left today and I remember learning that song in year r/1

I sing that in year 6
i left primary 2 years ago i feel so nostalgic in year 8 going on 9 lol in reception i ran back to the class with all of the people ran off we all got time out 😂
The yes/no rubber made 70% of our life choices 😂
Still does
Yeah my school gets yr 6s to go around at break with pens and people sign their shirts.
I still got to my primary school and i only have the benches that are relatable
Ah the book bus we all used to shake it
lol I had a named headband
it's Easter in in primary school and I sung this song on this week
Nahhhh we use this song in schools plays/singing assembly and I am going high school next yr I am going to miss everyone
Omg I have a video of me singing this song in yr1 and I can relate to all even the bus of books
The benches that are in the café/gym
nah we had the book bus ONCE in the whole time I was there
the immaculate feeling of sitting on those benches for the first time.
I would be disappointed every single time i couldn't get that pen license. The closest thing to being depressed at that age for me.
My primary school, the end of school yea towel became the end of school school shirt.
me just singing along
The song I did this in Yardley primary school in year 1
But when covid came: my school removed sitting on benches. I will never get that same old feeling.
I still sit on benches like that in my secondary school.
We sit on chairs lol
HOLY SHIT THE FUCKING BOOK BUS MY
P1 TEACHER WOULD CHOOSE TWO KIDS TO GET BOOKS AND WE ALL LOVED IT
We draw on rubbers and we right " on them 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂HELL NO"
I REMEMBER THE END KF THE SCHOOL TOWLES I GOT TO DRAW MY TEACHER
i never got to sit on my year 6 bench because of covid it was actually so sad i’d been looking forward to it my entire time to not do it
I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THE BOOK BUS OMLL
Me just vibing with this song
Pen license I remember
The im a spring chicken was the best song for spring🥹
help we would have to sing that background song at the church service before the easter holidays
Ok yes but like the thing we all forgot about was the song!
Ayo that bench was the same as mine is primary
I remember the benches getting so cramped I had to sit on the uncomfortably bumps 😂
We never had those things...
I was sad because most people got pen licences and my handwriting was crap but in year six we had to use pen and know my handwriting improve but not my spelllings
We didn't have pen license in my school. Instead, u would go to an teacher is in charge of english, and they would confirm yes or no...
I remember this song we aung this song im a SPRING CHINKEN IM YELLOW AND SMALL MY FEATHERS ARE FLUFFY AND
THERE KEPPING ME WARM
The song makes it more nolsaltgic
The benches were cool, I used to sit on them all the time. Pen licenses were basically just you being able to use a pen in your work.
The pride of that moment when I got my pen license my handwriting went tiny so my teacher took it off me and when she was reading the class book at the end of the school day I’d take a pen and beg it off her on a whiteboard 🤣
I let the yes/no rubber determine the highschool i went to. Tbh i have no regrets😂
THAT IS THE EXACT PEN LICENCE I HAD
I never got a pen licence because i was too 'unresponsible' with pens 😢😢
Me singing this as a performance in year 1 ❤
