I managed understand what's going on in the sample project by using the debugger tool and see what is applied step-by-step. There is the big question: Why does DLSS use TSR which is the upscaler of Epic? Isn't DLSS an upscaler by itself?
Hi, thank you for your video! However, I'm getting an error related to missing dlls (_nvngx.dll, nvngx.dll in Engine\Binaries\Wind64). Did you have the same issue? Or do you have these dlls in the engine folder?
Newer is better almost all the time. Also RTX4000 supports Frame Generation feature, which, if used correctly, can double FPS without big visual artefacts
A few questions. 1)Do we need to disable Anti Aliasing for this? Currently I'm not disabling AA, it stays on Method 4 i.e TSR. Logically I thought DLSS will ask to disable AA as it might have it's own sampler but disabling gives a horrible jagged effect. 2)Can you do a follow up tutorial for Frame Gen and Ray Reconstruction? 3) Can you also test Reflex ? Apparently it's not working in my system, says not supported tho I have a RTX 3070 4) How good is DLSS vs NIS given they are loaded in the same plugin? Thanks.
As documentation says U don’t need to disable Unreal AA. Yeap, I can do tutorial for FG and RR. But keep in mind, it’s for 4xxx series. There is no native support for 3xxx. Honestly, never tried NIS as it’s not as popular solution, but can make a try :)
@@YourSandbox Thank you so much.!! And yes, I was asking for a tutorial but not for me, for everyone else as your tutorials are awesome ! PS: I tried forcing Reflex to enabled and it does query as enabled but I don't see any decrease in latency values. Also PS: You might wanna look at FSR3 Crashing on UE5.3 when deployed while the game is paused.
Those menus came with plugin template project. I just extracted UI blueprint to City Sample and adjusted code so it can be used there for visual representation. It’s not necessary to do the same as I did. In tutorial I showed that all u need is to use macro that comes with plugin. Check tutorial one more time
developer.nvidia.com/rtx/dlss/get-started

I have a 3090 card. Unfortunately, I do not receive these green menus. How do you set them?

3.7 blueprint for the menue does not seem to work in unreal 5.4
I haven’t checked 3.7 yet. With each major version they bring more functionality that may not work in previous versions
Where do you get NGX widget?
The link to DLSS plugin has a project sample with widget. To add to your project you need to migrate/re-create. Simple as is
what is GPU Driver Used ?
Can’t say, but UI widget shows it. Just check on a video. Also, for 5.4 new DLSS came, 3.7, if it has extra features then I gonna cover it
@@YourSandbox I followed all the lists and did not notice the name of the card. If you do not serve people, what is the benefit of your channel?
