I don't know about anyone else, but I sometimes get annoyed by how many times some maps are remade. Blood Gulch, Battle Creek, and Shrine for instance have each been remade at least 3 times (4 for Blood Gulch). It's getting a bit ridiculous.

You know, 343 should make an RvB playlist which is only on the maps that were in RvB in Halo CE to Halo 4, and it should have everyone colored to certain RvB characters in whichever version of the map your on that were used on that map, like say you were on blood gulch there could be a 3v3 version were one person is colored for Griff one Simmonds, one sarge and then blue would be colored accordingly to tucker caboose and church and then if you had more people it would go accordingly to the other characters that were added throughout RvB and it'd be a variety of gamemodes.
I'm getting a little tired of scrolling through the comments and seeing all the negativity towards Jeremy, Matt, and even Lindsay. I'll admit I don't find Jeremy, Matt, or Lindsay funny in every video but people need to give them a chance. I actually thought this video was quite good and the chemistry among everyone was great! People need to get used to them, at first I didn't think Ryan was a great addition to AH in the Minecraft Let's Plays but he has definitely grown on me and it wouldn't be the same without him now. Also, I don't think that Geoff, Ryan, Jack, Ray, Michael, or Gavin are funny in EVERY single video. Everyone has their moments and I watch most if not all videos in hopes that they'll make my day a little brighter. TL;DR Give Jeremy, Matt, and Lindsay a chance. Andrew Major I made Ray as Tucker because out of the Blues, Tucker seems to be the best at being a soldier. So it's only natural I pick Ray because he's the best at getting achievements in AH.
Honestly all the people complaining about Matt and Jeremy make me kinda mad. Those two made incredible content for the Community channel and worked their way into the favor of AH and earned a job. Much like every Achievement Hunter has earned their job. They had to start somewhere and I look forward to seeing the future of AH with their addition to the team.

I really don't understand how people can say Matt is copying Ray. Ray doesn't talk as much in videos people lose their minds, you get someone who's very similar to him in videos, people still lose their God damn minds. It's like everyone here wants everything. They don't talk enough, oh these people talk to much, oh they're bored do something different, wtf why is everything different. Like there's no winning with this community? And back to Ray and Matt. Seriously? Copying? I accused my friends of copying me in the first grade. People still pull that card out? No. It's not copying. Matt has been part of the community for how long? And really if it doesn't bug Ray why should it bother us. Ray makes it very obvious when he's annoyed or pissed, you would easily be able to tell if he was not cool with mat, he doesn't have to be besties with him but it's clear he doesn't dislike him. Also friendly reminder, Ray isn't the only one in the world that acts like that, I have at least 5 friends he reminds me off. There needs to be a mini-series called "Red vs. Blue: Operation Let's Actually Try to Kill The Other Team", which requires just the voice actors of each character to play unscripted, in Let's Play format with some scripted events to give some context to the situation. Such as an intro where Sarge is fed up with doing nothing, and attacks Blue team. Then it transitions into the Let's Play format for some great fun! It would be an interesting change of pace for the RvB series, RT and AH. I suppose this might happen after Lazer Team though.

Papilloperative Yea basically the only reason they lost ww2 was altho he was a good strategist he did get a bit over confident in his forces to over run russia in the winter. which led to them starting to lose on 1 of the 2 fronts they were fighting on. and just due to them getting spread a bit too thin by starting a fight on 2 fronts.

I grew on matt and jeremy pretty quick. they're not copying anybody, they're just having fun like the main 5 does, and when you play games you'll scream and yell to. I actually hope to see them in more games, when the main 6 are together they don't have much fun like they would but they seem to do better around the new guys and I like it

I actually really really like the recent lets plays! It's refreshing to hear some new voices and new commentary! Plus it helps others get to know Jeremy and Mat a lil bit more.

assassins85creed You haven't been watching the 6 main guys "forever". Ryan has barely been there for 2 years. That means you've been watching for less than 2 years, so why should they care if you don't like the new guys?
Give it time and and approach the two of them with an open mind. It takes time for people to get used change and it becomes impossible if it isn't given a proper chance to win you over. As you probably remember, Ray and Ryan were not initially well-liked by the fanbase when they started out in the Lets Plays either (Ray was initially considered too quiet, and Ryan was only known as the "guy who sounds like Jack" for the longest time).
I think you guys should do more of this. It would be neat to see this become a weekly installment. Especially since this game is so integral to your history as a company.
Reminds me those short days playing Halo 1 for PC. Sometimes when comnunication was limited to chat, a good way to know when you needed a driver/gunner was either shooting a nearby player a bit or driving infront of them.
What is your most favourite Halo game to date? Mine is obviously Halo 2. That game was top notch. That basically described my childhood right beside 3D Ultra Mini Golf Deluxe on windows 97. Fuck its amazing.
Halo 2, It had some of the best missions and The best Narrative IMO (the ending sucked but other than that it was top notch) also it had the best multiplayer at the time as well
What I love about the original Halo is when you hit some one online it makes a low murr murr sound! I wish every Halo game had that. Ever since Halo 2 that has never returned!

I love Matt and Jeremy. I will admit I wasn't fan of them at first but the more I watched them in Let's Plays the more I grew to like them. I've been an AH fan for years now and I have no problem with these guys being in Let's Plays. Even when Gavin and Michael come back I hope to see these guys in future videos.
To everyone hating on Matt and Jeremy: Ryan, Ray and Michael all got the same abuse in the youtube comments section when they were introduced, and look where they are now. Given some time, none of you are going to care about the new guys, especially when Geoff hires more new people into AH down the line.
Ryan, Ray, and Michael never got hate. They were all established well before they were introduced. You had rage quits and BrownMan doing guides with his trolling deadpan sarcasm and then the outside guy Ryan who was endearing and then grew into this exaggerated form of a psychopath. These dudes are community members whose videos Weren't good but they tried real hard so they got hired. They are being force fed to the fans and they offer nothing. I'm tired of the ignorance of people that go "well people didn't like X at first". That is a tired and false argument. Matt, Jeremy and Kdin are just lackluster and cringeworthy.

Ryan had done behind the scenes stuff but had never actually appeared in a video until CTT and then he received loads of hate for being too creepy or too quiet, Ray yes he did community guides but you are implying that the majority of people who watch their channel also watched community vids, Michael had never been in a AH video before he Joined, yes he had his own channel but he didn't appear in an AH production until he officially joined and he got hate for "brown-nosing" Geoff and for being too loud, so no they were not Just community members who videos were not very good they have been established community members for a long time and were legends essentially in the community. I play LoL occasionally, and I can say this is far worse, reading these comments reminds me of my brother playing CoD. Some people just haven't fully developed their prefrontal cortexes yet. John Smith I am simply using a comparison using a common habit of not only my own brother, but of many middle schoolers out there. I myself was one of them as well. I do occasionally play MC Collection and yes there are some there, but it is far more vast in my personal experience on the Call of Duty fanbase. Also the fact that CoD is known as the pseudo "right of passage" for children into more mature gaming such as shooter doesn't help the statement. Halo is seen more as the nostalgic players game, the people playing it are usually people who played the other games in the series beforehand while CoD is a very similar style of game as it contain less complexity in the fact it doesn't contain vehicles anymore since WaW. It is a much easier game for younger kids to jump into simply because it is easier to understand. It's like comparing Runescape to WoW or Gears of War to The Last of Us. The two games involved in both comparisons are very close in genre (MMORPG and 3rd Person Shooter), but one is far more complex than the other in its playstyle, making it indirectly more difficult to get started in.

Well with Gavin and Michael both having roles in LazerTeam, they have to have people fill in for them. Like or not RoosterTeeth is a company that is gonna hire more people to make their company successful. Having new people come into AH is different, but I don't mind Matt, Jeremy, Kdin, or Lindsay being in AH. Sometimes newer people can make AH even better, it's just something the fans will have to deal with. I'm gonna guess once LazerTeam gets near the end, Michael and Gavin will be back.

You realize that the AH crew growing is the natural progression of things right? With Rooster Teeth growing and getting more mainstream that demand for content from the entire company is going to grow and they are going to need people to meet those demands. That isn't even considering that - while the original AH crew might be the holy grail for all of the fans and everybody within the team loves their jobs - they do all have personal lives outside of their work. It's very possible, and probably somewhat likely that some of them could leave to do other things in the next decade or two. Integrating the possible "next generation" of members (people like Matt, Jeremy, etc) now is a smart idea just so fans like you don't freak out about the so-called usurpers in the future when the Originals start to consider different avenues beyond AH.

I mean the crew has joked in videos that they're going to be doing this forever, but there's only so much that only 6 people can do. And they're eventually going to retire or somesuch, and the fans will need a new Achievement Hunter. :D thank you for the fresh point of view.

Please remove the filler characters from RT videos. There are many videos about games on the internet, but we choose to watch these because we like the personalities that we've grown to love. If RT/AH continues to release videos with these new people, it really just defeats the purpose, and everyone may as well just go watch a completely unrelated channel. Video game videos are not a rarity on the internet, that's why the core personalities are important.
Yeah lets go back to the days befor the Let's Play channel existed and just have minecraft let's plays one a week. With out the " filler guys" we would not be getting let's plays everyday. Honestly all the people complaining about Matt and Jeremy make me kinda mad. Those two made incredible content for the Community channel and worked their way into the favor of AH and earned a job. Much like every Achievement Hunter has earned their job. They had to start somewhere and I look forward to seeing the future of AH with their addition to the team.

I really don't understand how people can say Matt is copying Ray. Ray doesn't talk as much in videos people lose their minds, you get someone who's very similar to him in videos, people

the funniest part of the whole video was easily the german accent talk between Matt and Jeremy at 34:57. Ray never does german accents.
There needs to be a mini-series called "Red vs. Blue: Operation Let's Actually Try to Kill The Other Team", which requires just the voice actors of each character to play unscripted, in Let's Play format with some scripted events to give some context to the situation. Such as an intro where Sarge is fed up with doing nothing, and attacks Blue team. Then it transitions into the Let's Play format for some great fun!
It would be an interesting change of pace for the RvB series, RT and AH. I suppose this might happen after Lazer Team though.

Give it time and and approach the two of them with an open mind. It takes time for people to get used change and it becomes impossible if it isn't given a proper chance to win you over. As you probably remember, Ray and Ryan were not initially well-liked by the fanbase when they started out in the Lets Plays either (Ray was initially considered too quiet, and Ryan was only known as the "guy who sounds like Jack" for the longest time).

Reminds me those short days playing Halo 1 for PC. Sometimes when comnunication was limited to chat, a good way to know when you needed a driver/gunner was either shooting a nearby player a bit or driving infront of them.

I love Matt and Jeremy. I will admit I wasn't fan of them at first but the more I watched them in Let's Plays the more I grew to like them. I've been an AH fan for years now and I have no problem with these guys being in Let's Plays. Even when Gavin and Michael come back I hope to see these guys in future videos.
To everyone hating on Matt and Jeremy: Ryan, Ray and Michael all got the same abuse in the youtube comments section when they were introduced, and look where they are now. Given some time, none of you are going to care about the new guys, especially when Geoff hires more new people into AH down the line.
Ryan, Ray, and Michael never got hate. They were all established well before they were introduced. You had rage quits and BrownMan doing guides with his trolling deadpan sarcasm and then the outside guy Ryan who was endearing and then grew into this exaggerated form of a psychopath. These dudes are community members whose videos Weren't good but they tried real hard so they got hired. They are being force fed to the fans and they offer nothing. I'm tired of the ignorance of people that go "well people didn't like X at first". That is a tired and false argument. Matt, Jeremy and Kdin are just lackluster and cringeworthy.

These are all examples of comments they received (and sometimes still do) on youtube on a day to day basis (except for the one about ray and Geoff which were tweets sent to Matt and Burnie, so don't say the "fans" don't like them, the youtube half of the AH community (if can so be called) are mostly child-ish and petty arseholes who make comments that " X should kill themselves, I speak on behalf of the community" they all receive hate it doesn't matter whether they are old members or new they all receive Hate, but to say Ray, Michael and Ryan were established before they joined is bullshit. Ryan had done behind the scenes stuff but had never actually appeared in a video until CTT and then he received loads of hate for being too creepy or too quiet, Ray yes he did community guides but you are implying that the majority of people who watch their channel also watched community vids, Michael had never been in a AH video before he Joined, yes he had his own channel but he didn't appear in an AH production until he officially joined and he got hate for "brown-nosing" Geoff and for being too loud, so no they were not Just community members who videos were not very good they have been established community members for a long time and were legends essentially in the community. Finally the argument is not false nor is it tired it is as true as it was when we defended all the others that "True Fans" hated on.

I play LoL occasionally, and I can say this is far worse, reading these comments reminds me of my brother playing CoD. Some people just haven't fully developed their prefrontal cortexes yet. I personally see Matt, Jeremy, Lindsay, and Kdin as fine additions. Sadly this hatred will continue, but only to our detriment. John Smith I am simply using a comparison using a common habit of not only my own brother, but of many middle schoolers out there. I myself was one of them as well. I do occasionally play MC Collection and yes there are some there, but it is far more vast in my personal experience on the Call of Duty fanbase. Also the fact that CoD is known as the pseudo "right of passage" for children into more mature gaming such as shooter doesn't help the statement. Halo is seen more as the nostalgic players game, the people playing it are usually people who played the other games in the series beforehand while CoD is a very similar style of game as it contain less complexity in the fact it doesn't contain vehicles anymore since WaW. It is a much easier game for younger kids to jump into simply because it is easier to understand. It's like comparing Runescape to WoW or Gears of War to The Last of Us. The two games involved in both comparisons are very close in genre (MMORPG and 3rd Person Shooter), but one is far more complex than the other in its playstyle, making it indirectly more difficult to get started in.

They aren't going anywhere, that's for sure. And I prefer them here.
You realize that the AH crew growing is the natural progression of things right? With Rooster Teeth growing and getting more mainstream that demand for content from the entire company is going to grow and they are going to need people to meet those demands. That isn't even considering that - while the original AH crew might be the holy grail for all of the fans and everybody within the team loves their jobs - they do all have personal lives outside of their work. It's very possible, and probably somewhat likely that some of them could leave to do other things in the next decade or two. Integrating the possible "next generation" of members (people like Matt, Jeremy, etc) now is a smart idea just so fans like you don't freak out about the so-called usurpers in the future when the Originals start to consider different avenues beyond AH.

you know, that is a VERY well put together way to look at it. I mean the crew has joked in videos that they're going to be doing this forever, but there's only so much that only 6 people can do. And they're eventually going to retire or somesuch, and the fans will need a new Achievement Hunter. :D thank you for the fresh point of view.

They all have very similar personalities, that's why they get along so well, everyone keeps saying "Oh they are acting like ray" its not like ray is the only person in the world who uses Sarcasm, Sexual References and Innuendos and he certainly didn't invent a specific way of speaking and two even if they were can you blame them? when they constantly get shit from people about "changing" Achievement Hunter, can you blame them for trying to be like the others

Man I just cannot stand these LetsPlays with Matt or Jeremy, their humor is so....ridiculous. No one understands it and their voices are so similar. It's dry and facepalm worthy. I don't even bother to watch the Lets Builds anymore. I used to watch it for the Geoff and Gavin humor and would you rather questions. Matt and Jeremy makes jokes from games, that are Kdin troll worthy. "We haven't made any good videos in a while." - Geoff. I wonder why.

Please remove the filler characters from RT videos. There are many videos about games on the internet, but we choose to watch these because we like the personalities that we've grown to love. If RT/AH continues to release videos with these new people, it really just defeats the purpose, and everyone may as well just go watch a completely unrelated channel. Video game videos are not a rarity on the internet, that's why the core personalities are important.

Yeah lets go back to the days befor the Let's Play channel existed and just have minecraft let's plays one a week. With out the " filler guys" we would not be getting let's plays everyday. And not eveyone hates the new guys, in fact I love seeing them in videos because they add something new to the videos.
